Great food, great food and AWESOME staff. I enjoy coming here and feel comfortable and relaxed evertime I’m here. I highly recommend it to anyone and its family oriented.

I would like to give this place zero stars but I don’t think that’s allowed. We’re visiting the area and thought this looked like a nice place to grab a quick bite and some drinks. If I had read the reviews first I wouldn’t have wasted my time. We walked in and waited to be seated-​as posted-​for about 10 min. It was busy but not packed. After being told to sit anywhere, we found a spot in the back on the couches. Apparently they don’t go back there! We waited another 10 minutes of being ignored then we got up and left. Worst service ever.

Service & quality have decreased since I first started to frequent this establishment over 15-​years ago.
Good people for the most part but definitely not the same fun/​interesting place that it used to be.
I continually believe it will improve, but sadly it had not…

Get ready for a cool atmosphere, welcoming location, good food, awesome beers on tap, and shitty service. When I went recently and ordered chicken soup and a salad with dressing on the side, the chicken soup was good (wouldn’t get it again) and the salad was soaked with dressing, but then also had dressing on the side. My definition of dressing on the side meant not having it on the salad and on the side. Try finding the server Morgan to inquire? Impossible! And once we did? She told us that we should have known that, took out plates away and happily dropped off the check.

While this place doesn’t look like anything special from the outside, it is quickly becoming my favorite Geneva bar. I found this place because I was invited to the trivia night they have every Monday night by a friend of mine. I figured that the food would be typical bar food, so I ate before I came. Mistake…
The food is not typical bar food at all. Someone in the kitchen here knows what they are doing, and after coming back a few times, I can say that I never eat before coming anymore. Everything that I have ordered has been great. The potato skins which you’d expect to be some re-​heated, frozen spuds with artificial bacon on top are anything but. They are clearly freshly sliced potatoes that haven’t been frozen that have cheese oozing off of them. The steak sandwich (which is a special on Mondays) is also great and comes with this amazing horseradish sauce. They have sweet potato fries that are also clearly fresh. I could go on…
They have drink and food specials most nights and though I do usually frequent this bar on a Monday night, I will say that it is somewhat busy due to trivia night and I have never been disappointed by the service.

Terrible service. Would not recommend unless you like waiting a long time for drinks.

We enjoyed the atmosphere, nice facility. Nice bar. The service was good during our visit at 5:00pm but we were also one of around 5 customers that were eating. The beer list is above average. We were very disappointed by the lack of vegetarian options. Menu was too meat centric. We asked about a veggie burger and were told they didn’t have one. Even all the salads and wraps had meat added in!

Went here last Friday around 7:30. A hostess seated us in the middle of the restaurant… and we were never waited on. We patiently waited 45 minutes before finally walking out.

Not impressed with this place at all. The server spent the whole time rolling silverware and ignoring her tables. My drink sat empty for a good 10 mins before I finally got her attention for another one. I ordered the hot beef; it was the most flavorless food I’ve ever eaten. I’m glad there was salt and pepper on the table do I could add some sort of flavor. Gravy tasted like it was out of a can.

I stopped here with a friend while we were out for a bike ride. They were kind enough to allow us to bring our (not inexpensive) bikes in off the street. So I didn’t have to worry about them getting stolen. Plus they gave us lots of water so we could refill our bottles.
Unfortunately I forgot my ID so I didn’t get to try any of the vast array of beers. Darn. I’ll have to go back because they looked amazing. My friend and I both ordered off the slider menu and our food was really good. The sliders were the perfect amount of food for refueling on the bike ride. I left full but not too stuffed.

As usual, I will start with the good. My friend ordered food and we enjoyed particularly the fries. The prices were average and reasonable. Our server was efficient and it was in the service that I have the most more trouble. Our server was nice and everything but we werent entirely clear on which beers were on tap and which in bottles. The strange thing was that there were six staff members wandering around the bar. I couldnt figure our what they were doing other than playing Golden Tee. Our server could have used the help and I could have used an explanation.

great beer but I would’ve enjoyed it more if they updated the list. 4 out of the 5 beers I asked for we’re tapped. not a big deal. but the fact that the bartender had her phone plugged in playing music off of her iPod was a little annoying. why have touch tunes if I can’t play who let the dogs out at least once? I mean, everybody loves that song right? ether way this place is nice. thank you based god for this beautiful bounty of craft beer and mothers with loose morals.

Really like this joint! First off, it’s adjacent to The Little Owl. one of the oldest buildings in town. The interior flagstone from back in the day has been kept intact for all these years and it’s really cool. Definitely a beer bar and a really great «Beer List». they try and showcase local breweries when they can! Party room in back with fireplace and some really cool «Beer Art» that you really won’t see at many places. Service is very friendly and I’ll definitely be back to try the grub. gdd

Food was OK.
Service was SLOW.
It was lunch on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy in the restaurant. The waitress always seemed super busy, but there weren’t that many people in the Flagstone. There were 5 adults and one child at our table and it took about 35 minutes to get our food (and about 15 minutes for her to take our order).
The waitress never asked how things were at any point, as my wife wanted a refill on her beverage for about 10 minutes, and my sister sat waiting to be asked or be able to flag our waitress down the entire time to tell her that she really hated the odd consistency of the salad dressing that came with the grilled shrimp salad she ate.
Further, the waitress came by to one end of the table, but didn’t ask if there was anything else we wanted as soon as she heard one thing, she’d leave and just bring the one thing back (and then not do anything more).
She asked the 7 year old at our table if he liked his cheeseburger, and he smartly and clearly answered back that he did and that it was too big and that he’d a «to go» box for it. She laughed and never returned with the box. His father had to ask again.
The food was decent, but the service was so slow and poor that I wouldn’t go back, and certainly wouldn’t recommend it if you were in a rush or had somewhere to go.
We liked the decent selection of sides (potatoes=fries, tots, seasoned fries, sweet potato fries).

The Lagunitas sign in the window enticed me to go in while waiting to eat at a certain Mexican place down the street, and I’m glad we decided to give Flagstone a try. One of an increasing number of bars that are capitalizing on the exploding craft beer industry. They offer a quality list of beers to choose from, although most are bottled. I think they had about 6 taps, and I wish they had more. Six isn’t bad, but I frequent a place that offers about 12, so maybe I’m a little spoiled.

We’ve lived in Geneva for 3 years, but we just recently started going to Flagstone. In general, pretty good bar food and a great place to catch the game on a Sunday afternoon with a beer.
Burgers are great and cooked on a very well-​seasoned grill — probably my favorite thing on their menu. We’ve had a few hits and a few misses otherwise, but we really like the location and casual atmosphere enough that we keep going back in spite of the occasional just ok meal. And even the misses aren’t bad. Service isn’t over the top great, but its what I expect at a bar and grille — its never been subpar in my opinion.
And they are open later than many Geneva establishments serving food!

So we went here on a double date after a disastrous 40 minute wait at the Mexican restaurant across the street that left us hungry and cranky.
We wanted nachos, so we got nachos. They were delightful. The beer was amazing. A huge beer list full of joy and hope and happiness. Everything I look for in a beer menu. It made me happy.
The décor was simple with an open layout. I was a fan.
The rest of the food was okay, but nothing to really write home about.
We were, unfortunately, provided with a server who knew very little about anything. When you have a beer menu as extensive as this, you need to have a server who knows her beer.
I like my beer dark and devious… so I ordered an imperial stout. Which was given to me with a frosty pint glass. Anyone who knows beer, would have done this: I asked for an un-​chilled glass, preferably a snifter. Not only did she not know what a snifter was, she sent the bartender over with a bitchy attitude to say that all she had were pint glasses or short glasses. I took the short glass. And I was over the place.
Our server was nice enough, but made several of those tiny errors that get under your skin after you’ve had a bitchy bartender experience at a place.
Maybe it was a bad night. Maybe she was new. Maybe it was just one of those things. But with as many other bars that have extensive beer menus as there are, I don’t foresee myself returning any time soon.

This isn’t my type of place. The food is barfood and just, ok. Nothing special. There’s nothing on the menu that I’m like YES, that is so good! However, if your looking for a place to hang out with a friend, this might be a fun place… Their appetizers aren’t bad primarily because they give such huge portions.
The place is PACKED on Fridays for the fish fry which is pretty good. (Still not stellar).
I’m not into live music (at all) which they often feature. The crowd is typically rather blah. the bar shuts down really early and I think it’s because most people would rather bar hop in St. Charles. If you are looking to come here, I suggest coming here on Thursday for open mic night (that draws in a good crowd). They also have half priced apps that night (AWESOME) or for a late dinner before you bounce off to St. Charles.

Limited beer selection on draft, bartender looked like she was either upset with the customers sitting at the bar, or maybe just upset in general. No real interaction, other than to ask what we wanted to drink. No suggestions, no offer of a menu, zippo.
Too bad, because we like the service and ambiance in the older Little Owl pub attached to this place. I’m guessing this place is more for the late night shot crowd and less for the sit around and watch TV while you eat a good burger crowd.

This place got me pretty buzzed, on the cheap, and had stellar service.
They must have 15 different kinds of vodkas and lots of specials so I took advantage and got grape vodka and soda… and then got another one too. It was delicious and our server was great with making sure we always had something (with alcohol to drink). I also got their ranch fries as a filler and though they were good, they took FOREVER to come out and the place was not busy at all.
If I didn’t live so far from here, I would totally come back. I’d imagine this is a great place for guys who like to watch sports, drink, play pool, and get served by pretty ladies.
