Located in Ashtabula county Capo’s makes the best pizza and grinders in northeast Ohio. Our pizza is made to order and hearth baked. Dough and sauce are made daily. We also offer excellent salads and pastas. We also have an excellent selection of wine and craft beer, with offerings brewed and fermented right here in Northeast Ohio.
History
Established in 1965.
Our original location (still in operation seasonally) at Geneva on the Lake was opened by Frank Capo Sr. in 1965. Frank’s son, Tony, opened a second location in 1977. My family has been making pizza since 1959. Our grandfather opened his first pizza restaurant in Hornell, NY. In 1965 he and his family visited Geneva on the Lake, OH and fell in love with the area. By mid-July of ’65 he had opened Capo’s Pizza in the heart of the «Strip» at Geneva on the Lake. My father, Tony, opened Capo’s Pizza II in February 1977.
