OPEN at 11am Anytime Gaston County Schools are out for Teacher Work Days, Spring Break and Summer Break!

Birthday Parties, Skate Sales, Skate Lessons, Roller Dery, Speed Skating, and FUN are our main spcialities. Online party booking as well as Online Pro Shop Sales are available on our website as well!

We do parties for as little as 1 peson to as many as 1000+ on the corporate side. We offer indoor play grounds for the little ones at both locations as well! Family skating is a priority and Teen night is EVERY Saturday NIght from 5−10pm. Family packs are available Monday and Fridays at both locations as well. We’ve been in Gastonia for over 50 years and have skated ALL types of skaters.

History

Established in 1961.

Kate’s Skating Rinks, Established in Lowell, NC on January 5^th, 1961 by John and Kate Grice as a family owned and operated business, affordable, clean family fun has always been a staple of Kate’s in Gastonia. John always told Kate that he would «put your name in lights» and well, he did!

Our Hudson location was built in 2003 and has hosted some major skating events from all over the country making it one of the USA’s best rinks.

Manager

Roller Roo is the mascot for ALL Roller Skating Association member rinks. He focuses on healthy activities for all young and young at heart skaters. He made the journey from Austraila a long time ago becuase of his love of Roller Skating and has Kate’s his home for many, many years. He hopes to see you soon!
