History

Established in 1923.

Alfred Cornelius Current, Sr. was a boy with a paper route and discipline. Saving his money he eventually headed to town to purchase a new bike. Young Alfred also had a tooth bothering him and went to see the dentist. Fixing the tooth properly would require his bicycle savings and Alfred had to make a tough choice. He saved his tooth. Dr. A.C. Current always regarded oral health highly. He went to dental school and was invited to Gaston County in 1923, joining Dr. Ralph Fall’s dental practice located on the 5^th floor of the downtown commercial building. Three generations and counting, with gratitude to the people of Gaston County, the Current family continues to provide the highest level of excellence in dental care. Dr. Will Current has studied with the top clinicians in the world and now «pays in forward» through his commitment to his patients and by sharing his expertise to other dental health professionals.

I love dentistry. It is always new, fresh, and exciting. I have been blessed to meet many fantastic colleagues on a journey of professional growth. These colleagues share a common vision. At the most basic level, this vision relates to the parable of the talents, where we are challenged to do our best with what we are given.

Each day I witness a gifted team working together, to serve our patients as unique, special individuals. Optimal oral health is the result of customized diagnosis, individualized planning, and practical solutions. The dental care that is appropriate for one is very different that what is appropriate for another. Our team of Crystal, Ivy, Christina, Tabitha, Robin, and Elizabeth have embraced ever higher expectations and given of themselves to achieve excellence.
