Went there for the breakfast. I had their special which was French toast stuffed with white chocolate cream cheese and topped with white chocolate shavings and blueberries and blackberries. It was delicious. Service was friendly but a little slow at times and the dining room was not packed.

They do not deserve a star. The only reason people go here is because it barely has any competition. Wrote the story twice, once on here, and once on their corporate site — an error occurred after submitting there, so we’ll go with the site that cares to work. I’ve granted them more time then they deserve. Long wait for poor service & pathetic looking food. Ineffective management. The stars awarded the old lady serving us and the younger one that sat us, must be from the number of those reported seen after being hit so hard by bad service. We walked out. Go to newer British place across the street, or drive a little bit farther to the next city, sure you might have to wait, but you’d have to wait just as long here as you would there.

Very efficient & clean. Food was good but check the caps on salt n pepper shakers, while shaking out pepper lid came off & half the shaker spilled out.

We are not big fans of Cracker Barrel however we decided to place an order for carryout since we were staying at the hotel next door an not much choice of other food… The chicken an dumplings were ok. The dumplings were good but the chicken had an artificial pressed chicken taste. The catfish was good but only one small piece with the dinner? The green beans were plain tasting, but on a better note the collard greens were very good The best part about the meal was the dessert. Apple dumpling was great and the blackberry cobbler was wonderful !! Even thou this was a carryout order the staff were very accommodating and helpful If your a Cracker Barrel fan I’m sure you will enjoy visiting this location…

Short and sweet review… The good — food is excellent at very affordable prices. Service is as attentive as can be given that sometimes this popular location, which is just off the Interstate, can be very very busy. The iffy — mistakes can happen, which is understandable for such a busy location. My last visit(out of many) had a big mix-up with the salad being served after the meal came. Ultimate I toggled between a warming salad and a quickly cooling steak and baked potato. Maybe they could have substituted a desert in the place of the overlooked salad? Nope. However the server was sincerely apologetic. The bad — when I brought up the error when checking out the the checkout person asked the manager for assistance(the right thing). The manager just didn’t seem to understand why I’d want the salad before the main course. Seriously. So I paid my bill and went on… never to return to that location again. If I have a taste for Cracker Barrel while travelling I-69, I’ll stop at Anderson, Fort Wayne or Auburn — but not Gas City.

It is Cracker Barrel. We were traveling and needed a place to stop that was not fast food. I did not say this is healthy food :) but Cracker Barrel is a known menu. The food was good – and then we had the seasonal strawberry shortcake – this stuff was marvelous! Our service was a little mixed up-apparently a waiter in training and a regular waiter were both initially assigned to our table– so they tag-teamed our table –but both were excellent and good natured about it.

Could not be situated in a better place so far as I’m concerned!!! Right next to my hotel in Gas City… I really enjoyed both the food and service.
