Blue Moon Rising On Deep Creek Lake

Tiny cabins are great! We stayed at the Walden cabin an loved it. It accommodated 2 adults and 2 teens. They are very conscientious about being green. It really makes a point of how you can live with less and be environmentally conscience. It was really nice to have the family in such close quarters. You have a beautiful view of the lake, and it is across the street from the rental shops. We will definitely come back and try a new cabin!
The only «complaint» I have is that the kitchen island only has 3 chairs for a 4-​person cabin. Couldn’t they get a folding stool and put it in the closet in case it is needed?

Quite possibly the most perfect spot on the lake along with the kindest of people and earth friendly atmosphere! Absolutely charming!

Absolutely love this place. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful tiny homes to get away from it all. There is some road noise and boat noise, but I don’t really think you can get away from that with such a great location. Bring stuff for smores, the staff makes two big campfires almost every night. Also very dog friendly, only $ 20 to bring your dog. And nice walking trails.

The best part about Blue Moon Rising is that you can make your stay into any kind of experience that you’re looking for. Whether that be a romantic getaway, an adventurous mountain stay or even an educational vacation for the family, this place really covers it all.
The property is perfectly located between all the restaurants, bars, lake access and even the ski hill, but it’s tucked away on the side of the mountain so you don’t feel like your in the middle of the vacation madness. We stayed here over 4^th of July weekend which is a very busy time to visit the lake and we were able to relax with no worries.
The tiny cabins are beautifully constructed with repurposed material and the whole property is Eco-​friendly. They highly encourage recycling, composting and «disconnecting» from your electronics, even though they do offer free wifi and 5 star service. It’s like luxury with a conscious mind. I am absolutely in love with this concept and will be returning annually!

Love this place!!! This is my first time being in a cabin amongst the woods. First arrived, the staff was super friendly!!! The view and layout of the whole place was very functional and convenient. It’s definitely quiet, which is what I was going for. There were no tv’s or radios which is also what I was looking for. The cabin I stayed at was a tiny house, which was so functional and cute! I fell in love! The cabin and staff was just amazing. I didn’t want to leave so I extended my stay. I ordered delivery, and they brought the delivery guy up to me so I could sign for it. This place is just amazing. I would highly recommend it to families and lover getaways. I think I’ve found my cabin in the woods for life! I like the fact that you are secluded but not overly isolated. I like that they are eco-​friendly. The cabin was super clean when I arrived and ready for use and relaxation. This getaway was definitely much needed and BMR definitely and absolutely exceeded my expectations. Although I didn’t go hiking on the trails (b/​c I wanted to just relax and read), I will definitely make it on my «Things To Do List» next time I come and stay. I’ll slowly accustom myself with nature. Thank you BMR! Until next time! :)

my bf took me here for a b-​day getaway and knowing that I love tiny houses and cabins, these cottages were amazing!!! slick hill at entrance when icy out but other than that 5stars. staff was friendly & knowledgable. other renters were nice. dog friendly, limited wifi, trails. Hope to return soon!
