Vanity Salon and Color Bar

Tonya Locklear is my stylist and she really takes the time to look at how your hair grows before she rec’d anything. A consultation to talk about what would be best for your face structure and skin tone. I always get compliments on my hair and I know that Tonya is focused on me while I am in her chair. I live in Wake Forest work in Cary and drive to Garner to get my hair done. That says a lot, trust me :)

I just had to write an update about our most recent visit, as this time, my daughter decided at the last minute to join me. Kristin was booked all day long but another stylist graciously agreed to fit her in for a few highlights. Her hair looked absolutely gorgeous — perfect color, straightened and beautiful!
Of course, my cut was absolutely wonderful, as usual. I just can’t get over how brilliant Kristin is with color — she uses highlights, lowlights, and toner to round it all out. Amazing!
This most recent visit was especially notable because I missed my original appointment and Kristin not only fit me in as early as possible, but offered to call me in the event of a cancellation.
I’ve been going to Vanity consistently for over 2 years and have had excellent service throughout. Two thumbs up for Vanity!

Kristy Ellis is my stylist and she is awesome!!! I have a very short hair style so it’s so important that a stylist be precise! She is and always gives the best cut and color! I trust her judgement when looking for a new look, whether it be cut or color! Today we’re going shorter and way more blonde than ever! I’m so excited!!! If you are looking for a great stylist, give Kristy a call! She’s been doing my hair for years! There was a short period where she had left the salon that she was formerly at and I wasn’t sure where age has gone and seriously gals!!! I was lost!!! I tried a couple if locals but NEVER got the results I get with Kristy!!! FABULOUS EVERYTIME!!!

This place is not your typical hair salon. All of the stylists work independently and just rent out their space from vanity. You are really only dealing with the stylists when it comes to prices and appointments. Without naming anyone In particular, I worked out pricing with my stylist in advance, and it changed and was more last minute and I didn’t get what I thought I was getting. In reality all I can do is text her and tell her I’m not happy because vanity has nothing to do with the money or scheduling. It was cheaper than other places but all in all was not so happy with my updos.
If you buy a gift card for here. You are just giving a stylist money in advance, you can only use that GC for her services, not for product or any other service/​stylist.
