Where do I begin? I have met a few great people who work for this store. Let it be known I am not talking to you. I know your plight as I have worked retail for years. I know the people you have to deal with. I go out of my way to NOT be one of those people. And I usually don’t complain– I know people have bad days. But today 4÷5÷2016, at 7:50pm, I along with my 5 year old and husband, arrived to find the Money Center’s lights off with a line of 2 customers, and the entrance blocked. I began quickly writing my info in so I could squeeze in(10 minutes left until close isn’t exactly squeezing in but…). There was one person behind the counter. She yells, «We’re closed.» My husband sticks his head around the corner and asks, «Even though it’s 10 til?» She stammers and says, «That’s my last two customers.» To which I say«Please.» She shakes her head and raises her voice to say, «We are closed!!!» Now, first of all– no you are not. You are not closed until 8pm. I know in your mind you’d like to walk out of there at 8– my goodness wouldn’t that be awesome! And you probably have people coming in at the last minute all the time(see I understand why you think you are entitled to do that– I’m not a heartless monster after all!) but you don’t close until 8pm. You certainly don’t close at whatever time before 7:50pm that you actually closed. I was there to receive money from my father who sent me an emergency fund for food for, you guessed it, my five year old. I was there after her after school meeting let out– as soon as I could be, before 8pm. I called that very day around 7 to ask what time they closed. I’ve done this before, receiving money, and it takes maybe 5 minutes. I wouldn’t be this disgusted with the service if I hadn’t felt her wrath before though. I’m in school, work full time, teach a class, and have a child(like many others) and when you do what you’re supposed to do, and you make it somewhere during business hours, you should be able to depend on them being open. This employee has questioned my ID in the past.(It is a state issued drivers license from a year ago in which I look the exact same.) Again I understand the need to be vigilant about fraud that probably happens there. But I am receiving money from my father. I have the appropriate documentation. I have a great attitude about our interaction. There is no reason to give me a hard time. This employee doesn’t want their job. They loathe it. They shouldn’t represent WalMart, the team at that store, or the manager there. I hope that this«employee» can see the light– that you get no where by being that kind of person. NOWHERE. Go just up Northwest Highway to the Retail Road WalMart. Save your time.

If the employees were like those portrayed on the sitcom Superstore, I would not have been as aggravated as I was with the customer service I experienced today. I like to use the self checkout because, in all honesty, I can check out much faster doing it myself than the employees there. Unfortunately those checkout machines have their flaws. From time to time they freeze up or somehow sense that there is an additional item to be scanned-not sure how. Today I ran into the walmart supercenter to grab a couple of items as I customarily do. Today I just needed to get some peanut butter. Walmart tends to have cheaper prices on certain items. I proceeded as usual to scan my item. After I scanned and put it in a bag I hit finish and pay. That’s when a message popped up asking if I wanted to skip bagging. There was no other option so I stood there waiting for the cashier to assist. Finally an employee slowy sauntered over(there is never a sense of urgency with these shiftless folks) and simply pressed the message. I noticed immediately I was charged twice for the item. I called over the employee overlooking the self checkout machines and pointed it out to her. Her response was«oh yeah you have to be careful not to scan it twice. You will have to go to customer service to ask for a refund» In my mind I thought«Are you kidding me?» but wanting to avoid conflict I walked over to customer service. As luck would have it for me there was a long line of people waiting for help. There was no way I was going to accept that carefree attitude from this employee who was monitering the self checkout machines and should have assisted me herself. I told her I was not about to wait in a long line when it was her fault for having pressed the button on the machine that ended up with double charging me. She called over another employee and he sauntered over taking his sweet time. I could tell by the lack of energy in his posture he wasn’t inclined to provide anymore assistance than the bare minimum absolutely necessary. After I explained what happened, he gave me the same line about me needing to go to customer service to get the refund. I told him that was not acceptable and that I did not have time for this kind of nonsense. You have to be stubborn with these people to get them to help you. He got someone from customer service to go ahead and process my refund. It still was not the outcome I wanted as I don’t like to carry cash and that is the only type of refund they would give me instead of issuing a credit on my card. Walmarts tend to be shady places in general with strange characters and shiftless employees, but this particular location really takes the cake. I have seen people get arrested here. I have one word for this location-ghetto. I will not be coming back to this walmart-ever. P. S. I have a question for the company. Why is it that in tv commercials for walmart all of the patrons and employees are portrayed as clean cut? The employees are always full of energy and eager to provide great customer service on your tv ads. How deceptive of you to propone such a lie. The reality of walmart and your employees is a stark contrast to your advertisements.

It’s Walmart… lol but it’s clean and the people are nice even if they can’t help you find anything. Self checkout if convenient if it’s working. Price check stand alone a allll over the store. Hair and make up is limited in my opinion at this location. Pharmacy and staff are great!

This place is awful! It’s set up all kinds of crazy so you’re left walking around in circles a million times. The people are everywhere no one seems to know how to go one way on one side and the opposite way on the other side. True to Walmart form no employees ever ask if you need help and God forbid you ask them a question you’re interrupting their conversation with their friends/coworkers. I honestly thought I may have my first anxiety attack here. AND on top of all that I get home and they didn’t give me the silverware I bought. So 20 minutes on the phone 3 transfers to tell me I could come back and get one and take it to customer service when the woman asks who told me to do that. Ummmmm… Idk the 3rd person they transferred me to? Wth.

This review is for the pharmacy. Thao, the pharmacist, is excellent. She was so helpful explaining my new insurance benefit. She explained how I have to pay $ 25 today vs zero dollar last year because my insurance benefit have changed. She called and notified me right away. She also helped me with my new medication.

Seriously one of the slowest pharmacy ever. Pharmacist technicians here are… interesting. Not the friendliest people but I guess I don’t blame them. It’s not a good neighborhood, but it’s convenient for me to come during my lunch break. I guess it isn’t that bad since I’m the duchess of this place. I wish there’s a Target around though. Anyways, I really don’t like the pharmacy here. Why do I even bother writing reviews for Walmart? We all know Walmart struggles with customer services. Oh well! Overall, be cautious for a long wait at the pharmacy if you’re in a rush.

Ghetto as fu*k I want this review to be taken seriously so it sucks I have to cuss but sorry I gotta say it… I’ve lived in garland my whole life pretty much so I’m pretty used to ghetto but daaaang this place takes the cake I kept waiting to get held up by some of the stockers. Also pretty sure I read in the paper this location had a shooting out front that resulted in a death. Also has all the standard crap that comes with going to any walmart. Bottom line products followed by bottom line thinking. Hire crapy employees because people will continue to shop there because it’s walmart and sad to say that’s pretty much the just of it and of course this walmart probably makes about 60 million dollars a year yet they can only afford 2 check out lanes while they have 200 customers. Wake the hell up people they don’t care about their customers, products or employees and basically sank the American economy by almost 100% imported merchandise. Stop shopping there they hate you and you hate them

Like anyone in the modern world, I’ve been to many Walmarts many times. This is just an average Walmart, everything is the same in there cookie cutter layout of their stores. This one specifically is usually very busy. I like coming here for lunch sometimes because there’s a subway inside. The reason for my below average rating is the restrooms. Oh my were they bad. The floors were riddled with liquid(urine or water?), there was paper galore on the floors, the toilets were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for at least a couple of days and the last, and most ridiculous thing in my opinion, was that the soap bags that usually go in the dispensers were just laid out in the sink counter. That means that an employee deliberately put them there instead of taking the 60 seconds that it takes to put them in the dispenser. I like Walmart. The prices and availability if many items are always good, but this Walmart needs to get their act together.

this walmart is HOORRIBLEE! since we moved, we were forced to shop at this walmart, its absolutely horrible we went to buy a cat scratcher that they had at the BROADWAY walmart, but turned out they didnt have it in stock. we were so mad. ANDTHELINESARESOOFREAKIN’ LONG. I usually don’t complain about waiting in lines but their was only two cashier boxes open and we had to wait 45 minutes just to buy a couple of gallons of milk. it’s absolutely ridiculous. This walmart is full of rude employees who doesn’t care about you experience. It’s always dirty and stressfull.

This is the best Walmart I’ve ever been to. That’s a heave statement b/c I usually steer clear of this chain when possible. The store was clean and laid out well. I had an easy time checking out. Even when i returned my cart to the cart corral I was met with a «Thank you!» shouted across the way from an employee. It was nice to not come out in a horrible mood!

Let me update you on how HORRIBLE this location has become. The baby section is even worse than it had been. They had a very slim selection of jarred baby food, with only 2 meat choices– turkey or chicken. When asked if there was anymore to stock I was told they had put it ALL out the day before! SERIOUSLY!!! There were totally empty sections for 11 labels, and several others had mixed selections under their label(ie corn, pears, carrots under the apple label). Needless to say, I did not purchase the baby food here. The frozen juice section had labels for WIC(a program my grandchildren are in), but when we got to the register we were told the juices we chose from the«WIC labeled section» were not WIC items. As we were leaving, my daughter and I noticed these cups with screw on lids and forever straws that we had also found at the Dollar Tree(except instead of just clear, these had designs). The bin said«CLEARANCE $ 1». When I went to purchase them, they were $ 4.97 a piece, and as I was saying that somebody better fix the price for us, the manager moved the sign where it was more on one side of the bin than the other, still making it look as if it were the cups. There were 2 bins, and they still tried saying it was not meant for the cups, and nobody knew where the manager above the CSM was. Here’s the photo: A few months ago we bought a toddler bed at this location and the stickers were torn because of the way they stored the beds, and they COULDNOT make it right. The restrooms were so gross, I was almost willing to be embarrassed by wet pants– ALMOST! There was toilet paper on the floor of EVERY stall, several stalls looked as if the poop on them had been there for days, and none of the stalls had toilet paper in the holders, most of them the huge rolls were on the floor. The Manager I reported this to said they were really busy and would get to it when they could. OHYUK!!!(yes, I really wanted to say the rhyming word, but I’ll be nice). I am not a very nice shopper under these conditions, but ask my Unilocal friends, I can be a nice and fun person. I guess what I really mean is there is no reason to be nice about this visit, or any contact I’ve had with this location. Unless I will die unless I re-enter this store, or they prove to me they have truly FIXED their problems, I will NOT be shopping this location, and I already know others that have told me this evening they will NEVER shop there under the conditions that exist.
