Texas All Star Carpet Care

I decided to give them a shot after finding them to be one of the more professional companies on Craigslist.* Made an appointment for later that week and they were courteous, calling the day before to reconfirm and then when they were on their way. I had a particularly large issue** in one of the rooms that I pointed out to Daniel and he took the time to analyze it, explaining he’d do his best to pretreat it and get it out. It took a little over an hour for three areas and, to my surprise, they even moved the smaller furniture out of the way so they can clean underneath! The large stain I had was just about completely gone and my entire house smelled clean –not just perfumed, but clean. I waited a week to make sure nothing reappeared and am fully satisfied with their work. They charged an additional $ 15 for coming all the way out to Arlington but given the deals they offer I would rehire them again in a heartbeat. Great guys, great service.
*To clear up the CL find, I’ve hired popular companies advertised on the radio or TV and found them to be extremely overpriced for what they offer. I had previously found a company that was equivalent to the big guys but wanted to see if I could find a better one and was glad I did.
**I had a roommate with a carpet cleaner but once she moved out I started renting Rug Doctors to clean messier spots. I’d never had an issue until this past time, when, according to the 4 customer service reps I spent way too much time on the phone with afterwards, the vacuum wasn’t properly working so it cycled dirty water through the carpet without picking it up. Needless to say, everywhere I «cleaned» dried a light brown color. They offered to give me a different machine for 24 hours and a new bottle of soap, but the damage was done and the stain did not lift. If nothing else, DON’T RENT A MACHINE TO CLEAN IT. Even though I’d had success with them before, they don’t rinse between users or check for problems and it wasn’t worth the hassle of getting the new soap and double labor only to make a bigger mess and have to hire a professional afterwards.

They cleaned my carpet last month as I was moving out of an apartment. Not only was the rate the most competitive, they did a great job. Apartments normally try to charge you even if you get the carpets cleaned but they did such a great job that I didn’t get any additional charges. He also gave me a tip about walking around w/​o socks on (lotion from your feet can get in the carpet). I would def utilize their service again.
