Expensive, but decent pizza. But dealing with the manager(with the red Bulls cap) will ruin your day. He’s a total wad for no good reason. Can’t run a business with that attitude.

Just moved from Chicago two months ago and have been trying to find good pizza… and we found it! The pizza was amazing and the Italian beef. We had the thin crust pizza with pepperoni and green peppers and the crust was nice and crispy. Nathan, who was working, was very nice and made the delicious pizza! He was a nice young man who gave us some insight on the entire menu. I most definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially us Chicagoans who just moved here and searching for our kind of pizza!

What a douche. The guy who answered the phone did not wanna sell pizza. He was rude and in no means a salesman. He was very short and did not know the menu. I clearly was interrupting his down time. Will not ever order again!

What happened to this place! I came before and the place smelled like Chicago pizza! Today I walk in and it’s empty and looks abandoned. Place and order and come back and they are looking into the order! Seriously I was hoping not to be disappointed but it doesn’t seem like I won’t be disappointed! Don’t think they’ll be around for long and I was really hoping a Chicago style pizza place around here would be great but if customer service isn’t a priority then it is what it is! Too bad!

I am from Chicago and as far as thin crust Chicago pizza goes this is as close as you will get away from Chicago! This pizza is so good, it’s definitely my comfort food!

The story gets better, after we called over and over to talk to the manager we finally got her and she said that they would be sending us a free pizza the next day to make up for the earlier hassle, as if it would. Guess what? The pizza never showed up and when we called to check on it the manager was off duty and the jerk we had talked to the first time was the one working. Needless to say, we AGAIN didn’t get our pizza. I’m not really too upset because they probably would have spit in it anyways as unprofessional as they were.

I love this place! We always order a calzone to split, a coke, and a piece of pizza. It is always fresh, hot and delicious!

Rosati’s sucks. I work nearby and used to stop in every day, now I never go. The reason for that is simple: the employees. Back when the owner(Andrew?) was working, things were great! He was super nice and made quality food. Now when I walk in, all I see are a bunch of lazy employees. One guy is probably high 90% of the time I see him, he’s the one who has brown hair, blue eyes, and always wears a hat. And the heavyset girl who is always smoking outside of the door needs to lose the attitude! We ordered a monster pizza and they charged us for each individual vegetable(and it’s like a supreme pizza) and we had to fight them on it. They ended up giving us a «free» pizza to replace it, but only after I threatened to call the owner. The African American manager is extremely rude(not the super skinny guy, the one who is kind of built) He has lost us as customers for sure. I walk right past Rosati’s everyday and go to Subway, where they appreciate my business and serve me with a smile.

Huge effin beef sandwiches. Kinda salty though, like they’re adding salt after cooking the sandwich. Also you’ll have to tell them what you want on the sandwich. You know, like giardiniera, marinara sauce, cheese. Yeah, those things. ‘Cause they won’t ask. Otherwise, you’ll discover a disturbingly plain-lookin sandwich when you get home like I did. I MIGHT give this place another try. But it’s not easy to get to this place if you live anywhere along the 75 corridor.

We were looking for something new, so decided to have a pizza delivered from here. I ordered a medium 2 topping pan pizza. The price was a little steep, but I was hoping it would be worth it. The server told me their driver was on a delivery and it would be awhile. I asked how long and he said 45 minutes. I told him that would not be a problem. 1 ½ hours later, the pizza arrived. It was awful. The cheese was burnt, it was covered in grease and the crust was a soggy thin mess. We couldn’t even finish one slice. Definitely not a place we will be trying again.

Gross, Gross, Gross!!!, I came in today in the middle of lunch hour and asked for their pizza by the slice, and the did not have any nor was the pizza lamp on. I then asked if they had lasagna, manicotti, or any pasta available. There was only one person working in the entire restaurant. He was both the cashier and cook. He said it would take 15 minute to make. So he suggested beef sandwich because that was available. so I ordered beef sandwich. He went to the kitchen and microwave my sandwich. I got nervous after I saw him make my sandwich… I took it home and the bag was soaking wet in some kind of juice that it spilled out into my car. I open the to-go container and entire sandwich was soaking wet. This place will definitely close within days. Avoid this place.

I was driving by on Bush today and remembered this place was here so I stopped in for a bite to eat. When you walk in, you’re taken aback at how very small the front area is – maybe 6×15 feet. They have 4 or 5 small tables for dining in, and no fountain drinks,(only canned drinks in a chilled case) which means no ice for your drink. I ordered a meatball sandwich. The sandwich overall was good, but I informed the owner that toasting the bread before assembling the sandwich would helped a lot. He was very friendly, and told me a bit about the place. I will probably go back and try the pizza there. Not sure which crust to try though, as they have FIVE to choose from!

I’ve tried this location 2 times now, in search of true deep dish Chicago pizza. The 1st time, I would have given it 3 stars because it was«not bad». Not outstanding, but not bad. Though not quite int he league of some others, like Pizza by Alex(also in Garland). However, my 2nd, and will be my last, visit, it was more like 1 star, so I’m averaging it to 2. Sad to say, it WAS because of the food. THe way deep dish CHicago pizza is suspposed to be cooked, they 1st load the deep shell with cheese, then cook it for a long time until melted, then apply the sauce on top, and cook it a little more. In this case, I ordered extra cheese. I made sure they knew I really love mozzeralla cheese, and was paying the almost $ 4 extra for extra of it. When they haded me my to go box, wholy cow, it was very heavy –over 5 lbs! I said to them, wow, you must have really hooked me up on cheese, and they smiled and said«yeah». I got home to discover it was very little cheese, but an absolutely ridiculous amount of sauce on top –probably an 1/8″ of cheese, not well distributed, and 1.5″ or more of sauce. I’m not sure how exactly they cooked it, but somehow, what little cheese there was wasn’t even properly melted. They made an abomination of it, and to think, several dollars extra for extra cheese??? It was more like«less cheese, but 3X sauce». OK, you’re probably thinking, everyone has different standards and prefrences about pizza. So, rather than get into that, I’ve posted a photo of this«extra cheese» pie. You decide… Photo link:

Rosati’s was okay, didn’t have a pizza but a family inside was eating a couple and they looked rather good. I ordered the Cheef, the spicy Italian beef(Cheef with peppers), breaded chicken sandwich, Chicago hotdog and seasoned fries. Wanted the cheese fries but they were out of the cheese. The Cheef and spicy Cheef were full of beef with a nice layer of melted mozzarella on top and juice on the bottom. The kids like the chicken sandwiches as well. The fries were okay. Service was good, they had it ready at the time they promised. Only downfall was the hotdog, it didn’t come with tomatoes and sport peppers as advertised. This place is mainly for takeout, there are only a few tables inside.

Being from Chicago and eating Chicago style pizza and sandwiches for many years I have to rate this with only 2 stars. First the service is sub par. Orders are wrong and the staff seems extremely disorganized. Second — the authenticity of the deep dish is close but not quit right. The crust is soft and mushy. The pizza seems not cooked to perfection. Not sure what they are doing with the sauce and cheeses but they just aren’t the same. Third — the sandwiches. Have ordered the beef sandwich twice and the beef has been extremely dry. Almost like it had been cooked days before and left out. Traditionally the beef sandwich and the combo are juicy and has lots of flavor. Not in either case of the times I have ordered them. They are doing a dis-justice to the Rosatti’s name and the tradition of Chicago style pizza.

First off let me say this review is not a 2 star because of the pizza. Its all about service. Being new to the area and staying in a hotel I noticed that my hotel card key had an advertisement for Rosati’s. So needing a little sunday night substinence I gave them a call for delivery. The girl on the phone was passive if not fully coherent THEFIRSTTIME I CALLED(around 615). I ordered a small chicago style pizza and some cheese fries. I was told the total and that it would take about an hour. Okay. An HOURAND A HALF later I called back. This time I was much happier about whomever answered the phone. This girl was extremely nice, apologetic and offered to void my purchase and still deliver the pie. Good by me. My pizza finally showed up around 815 — a solid 2 hours after I called in. The delivery driver was nice and apologetic. I am hoping the service end of this was all just a big coinsidence and not a regular thing. But they did the right thing and I didnt have to pay for the my dinner. So its a 50 – 50 thing. Now, the cheese fries were a waste of time and money. Gas station quality cheese dip and soggy fries… not good. The pie on the other hand was very good. Done the way a chicago pie should be(ie. dough layered with cheese, then sausage, then sauce and I had mine topped with black olives). It was very good. Very subtle sausage and plenty of it. Stringy salty cheese and a very good chunky sauce on top. The crust was good if not spectactular. For all the time it took I wish they would have cooked it about 5 – 10 minutes more. The crust was a bit on the«soggy» side I would say. But had good flavor. The small pizza was plenty of food to feed me and provide left offers at least once if not twice, so beware ordering. Like I said at the outset of this review. If it wasnt for the service I would have given this at least 3 if not 4 stars. These serve a solid slice.
