So good I had to come back with the mister! The elote tamal(corn tamales) are the best I have ever tasted! The papusas are freaking delicious. I’m. It a fan of crema but others seem to love it! Even the to go order I had from the other day was well packed and super filling! Hope more people find this place!

These pupusas are sooooooooooo gooooooood! I’ve driven by a few times and have been wanting to try this place out for a while. The order taker Yessica was very sweet. I ordered the cheese pupusas and a spinach with cheese pupusa. You can definitely tell that they make the pupusas fresh to order!

Not bad at all! We’ve been craving some pupusas, but judging from some of the other places we’ve been to in DFW, we were convinced that a decent pupusa(besides the overpriced ones at Gloria’s) simply did not exist. That was until a friend recommended we try Pupusas Mama Tita. We head on over for dinner one night and it was nice. Big space, plentiful seating. It’s located in a shopping plaza that didn’t look very crowded. I had the horchata to drink, but it wasn’t very good. I think it was powdered. Pass on that. Then I ordered the Tamarindo which was super good. For my meal, I opted for the revueltas(pork and cheese) pupusas and an order of rice and beans. All super delish. We ordered a few extra pupusas that we didn’t get, so we told the staff and they removed it with no problem. Good thing, because we were so full with what we had originally ordered to begin with. Our server Roxana, was nice, but she rarely checked on us. My only other complaint about the place is that it does take awhile to get your food. I’m not exactly sure how long it typically takes to make pupusas, so I won’t dock too much. My favorite was the condiments, the cabbage mix. and sauce. Not really sure what those are anyway, but man are they tasty! Overall, I’d definitely return here. I’m so happy my search for a good pupusa in the area has ended. Pupusa Mama Tita is where it’s at!

Great value. The«Plato Tipico» comes with a pupusa, 2 tamales, yucca, a fried plantain, refried beans, and crema. It reminds me of going for Salvadoran with family and friends, but you don’t have to order a bunch of plates. I couldn’t finish the platter, but splurged anyway on an empanada — which was also delicious. My only complaint — no cola champagne. The location looks like it was a different restaurant before, as the booth seats are worn(and it seems this location is new for this restaurant), but that means there’s plenty of room even for very large parties. If the booths are scary, don’t worry, the tables and chairs are new. It’s in the shopping center with the Aldi and Whataburger, 2 doors down from the Dollar General, next to «Smile Magic», but it’s a little hard to see from the street.

I had been to a previous location and was really glad to find they had moved this close to home. I had the Plato Typico, basically a sampler plate. Pupusa was delicious, chicken tamal and the plantain were very good. I also love corn tamals, and their’s was great. Best in show was the yucca, really yummy! All the usual Salvadoran condiments were provided. Will definitely be back.

In between the six of us, we had pupusas, tamales, fried plantains, yucca fries, and an empanada. We also tried the horchata and a sweet drink called marañón. Everything was amazing and delicious. The refrained beans are some of the best I’ve had! Friendly and fast service. Can’t go wrong here.
