Osborn’s Automotive Restoration & Mechanic Shop

I wish I could give this man a ZERO star rating. Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?
This story started out reasonable. I was on vacation in Dallas from Los Angeles and committed the number one travel NO-​NO… I rented a 2016 Prius with no insurance. Yes, yes, I know, ALWAYS get the insurance. On my first night out, my shitty prius gets keyed HARD from the front of the drivers side allllll the way to the back. Someone must hate Prius’ as much as I do. Anyway, I started calling around and all of Dallas was backed up from a hailstorm damage so I finally found this foul mouthed miscreant in Garland (since I refuse to call him a man) and he ensured me he could have my car done within 2 days time, for only $ 300. GREAT! I booked a ticket home, and we agree to meet the next day. After the phone call he had me pondering… his accent threw me off a little, kinda like one of those dumb hick typecast movie characters, and I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to take my car to him. I tried a few other last resort body shops but they were also really sketchy and super expensive. I didn’t know to do.
Mr. Osborn here took the liberty into harassing me in agreeing to let him fix my car. I finally said yes and he PROMISED he would leave his phone ON and CHARGED to be ready for my phone call at 6AM when we agreed I would drive 45MINS out of my way to drop the car off. I text and ask for an address and got no response… this was red flag number 18 by this point. I called and called starting at 6AM until 9:30AM and his phone kept going straight to voicemail. I decided to drive out there anyway and see if I could find the body shop. Mind you I had to be at work by 11am. 45 mins later there is NO sign of this man’s shop. The address is incorrect according to both Unilocal and Facebook, and Osborn was still unreachable. By God’s grace there WAS a body shop in the immediate area with run by a very nice Mexican family who gave me huge discount and fixed my rental within day.
The reason Mr. Osborn would be getting zero stars from me, is because, number one he is a LIAR. Number two he has NO RESPECT for women. And number three he is INSANELY UNRELIABLE. He finally calls me while I’m in the Über to work (its 1030am at this point) and demands I come back and bring him the car. He begins to get irate and starts to raise his voice at me, yelling that it wasn’t his fault that his associate, another country hick, forgot to put his (Osborn’s) phone on the charger and it had died. He tried, aggressively, several more times to turn my über around and take the car back from the «No good Spics» (in his words) and bring it to him immediately. I informed him again that I had a job I couldn’t be late to and there was nothing I could do. He then begins spewing curse words at me like a seasoned sailor, calling all kinds of Stupid Bitch this and Dumb Bitch that. He went even more racist on the kind Mexican family, told me to delete his number and never call him again. Great, would love to oblige. Then he tells on himself, and tells me he doesn’t have the permits needed to work on the car during the day, he would have to use a buddy’s shed after hours to avoid being fined. How many more red flags do you need?
This man, according to his Facebook and self-​Yelp review, is a God fearing, good Christian man, with a love for the ladies. This, is what we call a LIAR. He had the nerve to call me back over a week later, when I’m finally back in LA, and asked if the Spics (his words not mine) got my car fixed, when I told him they did an amazing job for very close to his original quote, He became irate again, told me I paid too much, and should have brought it to him. He cusses me out again, calls me a bitch again, and again tells me to delete his number, which I never saved in the first place. I highly recommend NO ONE EVER CALL THIS MAN. I don’t even think his photos are real, other than standing upright overweight with a mullet.
