The Orange chicken here was just orange in color– Thats It. Fried rice was 2 – 5 stars.

I dont understand, maybe my taste buds are off, but the food was very tasteless. It had no seasoning at all especially the combination fried rice.

For late-night Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese in Dallas, this is pretty much as good as it gets. If it’s daytime, then sure, there’s other places you should visit, for Chinese or Vietnamese, in this part of town. The menu at this place leans more heavily toward the Chinese(but not Sichuan) side. Skip the combination plate(which is served with a decent wonton soup and vegetable egg roll) even if it is at bargain prices and the large size is big enough to feed two. They’re not as great as the rest of the menu, especially when comparing with the flat noodles(which you can find on the back of the menu). And also, there’s specials written on the wall — but in Chinese and Vietnamese. The bad thing about this place is that the service was spotty at best — and we had to get the attention of the waitress several times. The other bad thing is that the cooks in the kitchen are a little bit lazy in their execution — my flat noodles came clumped together at times that I’d sometimes be eating noodles that have not been seasoned on both sides as the result. But luckily, the noodles still tasted great, and with the beef. The place feels«dirty» but partly because it’s an old building and the interior is in need of an renovation. But I wouldn’t let it deter anybody from coming to visit. When I came on a weeknight after 10 pm, this place was packed. And as a sign of things, the restaurant next door, which was also open after 10 pm on a weekday, was literally empty.

UMMMM I am not sure what to say about this place… The customer service was fine. The food was OKAY which I think I am being generous… We ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg drop soup, white rice, fried rice, and egg rolls. My chicken was fried so hard no sweet and sour sauce could have saved it. The egg rolls were oily! How can you mess up eggrolls? The rest of the food was blah. The nice thing is that they are open pretty late which can be a plus if the food was good.

This place is fucking trash. The People are rude and have no respect. I tried to order online and they hung up on me because I didn’t know what to order. They don’t have a menu online nor do they have a website. So I asked if they had a certain dish and they hung up on me. I use to work in the restaurant industry and I know what it’s like to be busy with dine in and pick up. But never have I hung up on a customer for not knowing what they want. I helped them choose because that’s my job. They passed me to 3 different people and they were all rude and lazy. I rate this dump a –10

Love that they open late, came with my bestie. Evenly the wait for a bit long due to it being a saturday night where everyone is out. Service were really good, our waitress were sweet. Recommend the snow fish and Clam Soup!!!

I love this pace. I don’t know if they are the original owner. This is one of the best Chinese food I had in Dallas.

I love this place., especially since they are open very late. That’s something I really miss… China Town in NYC(both downtown and Flushing) and My Canh comes really close for traditional Chinese food. You really can’t go wrong here. Tried Schechuan beef, Kung Pao chicken, Braised Duck, flat noodles, Fried Rice, Salt and Pepper Squid, etc and surprisingly liked all of them. Excellent soups. Sometimes the service can be a bit curt but then again, this is to be expected in a traditional Chinese dive.

Ordered Kung pao chicken and chicken lo mein for pickup. While it was an ample amount of food, it definitely lacked luster. Not very flavorful. Very little chicken in lo mein & kung pao full of celery and mushrooms(not sure if this is traditional). Egg drop soup & egg rolls were good.

This place was amazing! On a late night whim we decided to skip the drive to our usual sushi spot and try something closer; boy are we glad we did! The spicy(Thai) dumplings have great flavor and go freaking great with the seafood hot pot. Don’t get turned off by the $ 17.95; the thing could feed at least 3 – 4 people. The broth is not like tonkutso ramen so I added some of the dumpling juice and soy. The service was friendly, fast and the ticket didn’t disappoint either. We will definitely be back.

Came here for the first time with the bf and friends. They are almost regulars here because our waitress asked if they want Clam Soup again. Our waitress was very friendly and funny. We really enjoyed dining here after work out. Clam Soup: Fresh and juicy clams. Ate some sand though. The soup has a tint of spicy, just don’t chow down on the green pepper and its seeds then you’ll be fine. Mongolian Beef: the guys always order this. It’s juicy and very flavorful. Fried Pork: I loved this. I usually don’t like fried stuff but this was so good I had to fight for the last one. Sesame Balls: Another thing the guys fought over with rock paper scissors. There is nothing inside but it is fried to perfection and not too sweet.

My mom, boyfriend, and I walked in and the restaurant seemed to be ¾ full. Didn’t think the wait would be long since there were a few empty tables in the back. It turned into a 30 mins wait. There were only two servers on a busy night and it looked like they didn’t want to give up the big tables for a party of 3. As we got done ordering, the server proceeded to move our cups of water onto the smaller table next to us? Apparently a table for 6 people was too big for the 3 of us… Not only does the restaurant look filthy, from the silver wares to tables. I had already lost my appetite before our food came out.(We asked for to go chopsticks and spoons). The way the server cleaned the table was to wipe all of the crumbs off and that was it… The food was decent, but service and overall presentation of the restaurant lacked. We will definitely not be returning.

The best clam soup ever. The water spinach and crab fried rice don’t stay too far behind from being the best I’ve had either. The staff seems curt, but very effective. Highly recommend. I will be back. On my list of go to’s.

Open late! Best place to go when you are craving some authentic chinese food. I have been coming here for at least 6 years. and have always had the same waitress. I know the owner he is a super cool guy… portions are family style so come hungry. they also serve beer!

My Canh has amazing and authentic Chinese. We ordered tofu sizzling platter, scallop black bean sauce, water spinach, and beef flat noodle. It was all so good. The service was also very good. The waitresses were super friendly. They kept our waters full and made sure we had everything we needed. They also packed up our food for us. We came at around 5 so the cooks were in the dining room preparing dumplings for dinner and they were talking loudly to each other. It added to the authentic experience. The dining room is outdated but thats a small price to pay for the food!

I’ve been here multiple times and I was pleased each time. My best friend lives down the street from My Canh so this is always the place of choice for a late dinner when everything else is closed. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it because there’s always something new to try. I’ve tried several dishes(salt and pepper squid, beef flat noodle, crispy fried pan noodle, roasted duck, beef and broccoli, fried pork chops) and they were all good. The service is the best — I don’t expect much when it comes to a Chinese restaurant but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The food comes out fast and hot!

Very nice Asian restaurant with late night operating hours! Love all the dishes! Can be busy but they do trying their best to serve! Been there a few times and always ordered different hot pot! So far tasted 4 different variety! Please check out my pictures posting!

Found my new late night spot! Yes, the interior feels a little old fashioned and could use a makeover, but you don’t go here for the ambiance. You go for the food, which did not disappoint. Salty fish fried rice and bbq duck were authentic and delicious. Eggplant was to die for and I don’t like veggies. Salty fried squid was perfect mix of salty and crispy. Generally a place with food this authentic has really bad service, but our lovely server gave better service than many American restaurants. We never had to beg for our drinks to be refilled. She even packed our food for us which is pretty much unheard of for asian restaurants. Wish I’d known about this place sooner! Bye zenna, I got a new place to satiate my late night cravings.

Pretty good late night Asian food. Authentic Chinese and Vietnamese. Menu is in both languages, so you know your at a legit place. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, all pretty good. Among the ones I remember: the clam soup, wontons in chili soy sauce, fried bass, fried intestine, scallion omelette, beef tendons, and the spinach with garlic sauce. Restaurant itself doesn’t look appealing, but food makes up for it. Service was nice friendly and fast. They speak both Viet, canton. and mandarin. At the end of the meal they give you sesame balls for desert :-)

Been going to this restaurant for a few years, but thanks to the SO’s parents, I recently discovered their crab fried rice!!! I absolutely LOVELOVELOVE the dish! It was a really big dish, so be prepared to bring 3 – 4 other friends along to help eat it, or you’ll definitely want to take some home. I love the authentic Chinese cuisine and am even happier with how late they stay open. Great place for late night cravings and great for late night study sessions. Had several other dishes from this place and have yet to order anything that I was displeased with. Definitely a place that you’ll want to try before you knock it!
