Hembree Eye Care

The doctor is nice and informative but the staff gives you the run around. My son had an appointment on the 23^rd of June. I asked to schedule an appointment for myself on a day his glasses would be ready. They said July the 3^rd and I make my appointment for the 7^th. His glasses weren’t ready and I didn’t receive a phone call. When I went to my appt. and found out his glasses weren’t ready I was told another week. I have called a couple times and I keep getting told another week. They haven’t ever reached out to me to let me know what is going on. I feel as though someone in the office is dripping the ball and the staff just keeps blaming the lab but when they tell me the turn around is 3 to 5 business days and it is now almost a month later I feel like they are not being honest with me. I understand things happen and sometimes there are delays but communicate with your customers. Tell them the truth and stop giving them the run around. I will now find a different eye care office for my family’s needs.

Dr. Hembree is one of the best eye specialists in the Dallas area. My children and I, have been patients since 1998, when his office was in T.E. mall next to Lens Crafters. In all the years of seeing Dr. Hembree, I can only say great things about this man.
Dr. Hembree is a fabulous doctor. He listens to your wants, needs, and concerns. He is very knowledgeable– in all aspects of his craft. He actually takes time with each of his patients. That is a rare find nowadays. Most doctors barely take the time to ask your name.
His staff is very friendly and professional. There is a nice selection of glasses, like Coach, Burberry, and Versace. And of course many great choices of less expensive frames as well. Rosa and Melanie are great receptionists ! Friendly, helpful, always smiling.

Dr. Hembree is a great man who is excellent in his craft. My family has seen him since he had a practice at Town East. He treats each patient with care and each time we have went we were more than happy. I remember a time my mom was running late to pick up my contacts, he ran into her when he was leaving and went back to the store to get them for her. I will always remember that, he truly cares about his patients. Give him a try!

Dr. Hembree is a great doctor. I have been getting my eyes checked with him for a few years (back when he was located in Town East Mall, which is the only reason I went there). Highly recommended if you are looking to get your eyes checked for contacts or glasses.
