Business Owner

I’ve got a recording studio in a commercial business area. It’s not a home studio, it’s not a big studio. I am running Neumann mics into an API pre-​amp and Pro Tools HD.

I am a grown up — I’ve been writing, recording and working with music for many years. I purchase the right equipment to do this in a professional way. I work with people in a comfortable way. I’m in a band, so I apply and evaluate songwriting techniques that I’ve learned from every genre. I’ve enjoyed learning from the variety of styles that record with me; that’s been everything from rock bands, hip hop, acoustic guitar, Churches, jazz, singers, country, polka, brass band, native African, native Turk, sitar, spoken word and an Elvis impersonator. I’ve introduced lots of talented people to other talented people. I’ve hosted special projects, free of charge, to help people get to know each other. I’ve lived in the Dallas area my whole life, and I frequently run into people that I have worked with.
