History

Established in 1981.

Paul Osborn started the studio in 1981. Over the years the studio is proud to be home of some of Dallas’ top engineers like Matt Kennedy (he IS «the man»), Byron Parks, Jon Early plus many more. Many national artist have recorded at the facility. Willie Nelson recorded Red Headed Stranger and the hit «Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain» in the early years when it was called Autumn Sound. At Audio Dallas, Paul has recorded and or mixed K-​Ci and Jojo, Gerald Levert, Rick Ross, Jack Ingram, Reverend Horton Heat, Anson Funerburg, Jim Suhler, Jr. Boy Jones, Ann-​Margret, Charlie Pride, just to name a few.

Paul Osborn, as a drummer, started Audio Dallas in 1981 means of recording his own projects. Over the years, The studio has grown to a nationally recognized facility with the reputation of putting out RIAA certified Gold and Platinum Billboard #1 hit projects. Paul’s mission is to have a facility where every artist feels at home, to enjoy the dream and gift of music, and is a member of the studio family. The success of the studio is due to the credit of the good LORD, hard working engineers with a passion, and to his wife Kim, and children MacKenzie, Garrett, and Marshall.
