What a gem! 1) This place is both a Balkan grocery and restaurant. 2) They have Macedonian food specials everyday. Try the Macedonian kjepapi, but the Serbians/Bosnians call it cevapi. The Sels Komeso and boreks(cheese, meat, and spinach) are also great. 3) Will definitely come back to get some Balkan snacks and ajvar sauce.

went there for lunch the other day. me and my friends all had the kjepapi(ground beef rolled into sausage shape) which were fresh off the grill, juicy and extremely flavorful. the kjepapi were served with fries which were hot and crisp and a generous amount of fresh delicious bread. definitely worth checking out, tasty food at a good value.

For about $ 5, the best, tastiest lunch for the money. Best Macedonian food I’ve ever had. Don’t be intimidated by that: it’s basically extra-tasty versions of foods you already know! The daily specials rock, especially stuffed peppers(Tuesday), Beef Soup or Goulash(Wed), and Grof(bean & smoked rib stew, Fridays). Available from noon till they run out!(usually till 4 or 5 pm) They smoke their own ribs here… make their own yogurt… make their own phyllo dough fresh for the burek pastries(filled with meet or cheese).
