I have in the Locksmith Industry for over 20 years. When I established Lock Doctor my goal was to create a relationship of trust with our customers while meeting their unique security needs.

To most people in need of lock and key services, a locksmith is a locksmith. I know better. My introduction to the trade began 20 years ago with losing my keys in San Francisco on a late Saturday night. Having a strong interest in all things mechanical since childhood, I watched the locksmith who came to my rescue work. Little did I know that the next hour would spark my lifelong career. I asked many questions as he began the process of removing my steering wheel (!) to get into the steering column and remove the ignition. By the time he had decoded the cylinder and cut me a key, I was hooked!

I enrolled in the Golden Gate School of Locksmithing in Emeryville, quickly got a job as an apprentice in San Francisco, and within two years had outfitted my own «mobile locksmithing shop».
