History

Established in 1994.

Kelly opened The Academy of Dance Arts in 1994 in both South Lake Tahoe, California and Gardnerville, Nevada. Her goal has always been to share her knowledge and experience as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer with the literally thousands of students who have passed through the studio doors.

Meet the Business Owner

Kelly O.

Business Owner

Kelly was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She began her dance career at the early age of five. As a teenager, she was a soloist with The Knoxville Ballet Company during the school year and continued her dance training every summer in New York and Los Angeles. Upon graduation from high school, she was awarded a choreographers’ scholarship to The University of Tennessee.
