History

Established in 1995.

J&R Service Center started in a small 2 bay shop located in Gardner, IL. Jeff was a master tech by the age of 21 & had a passion for technology as well as quality. It didn’t take long for the company to get overrun with cars to fix & a reputation for quality & honesty. We made our first expansion in 1998 adding two more technicians. In 2005, another building was purchased & a new shop was built right next to the original. By now the company had expanded to four technicians & a service writer. The customer list grew to over 3,000 in a town that has less than 900. In 2009 the company expanded to Diamond, IL & added 3 more employees. Many of the people in the original appointment book are still coming. It is our commitment to having dealer quality repairs with a better warranty that makes the shop desirable. The company cares about our community & gives back whenever possible with team sponsorship, food drives & donations to local charities and fundraisers.

We share a passion for J&R and enjoy working together everyday. We are better as a team not only at work, but also at home. We have been married since October 2013 and have four children that keep us very busy. Most of our time is spent at soccer games and cheerleading. When we do have spare time we love hiking, riding ATV’s, boating, snowmobiling and riding our motorcycle together.
