Specialties
We currently have one of the largest vineyards in the Hudson Valley, with over 20 varieties of grapes planted for our continuing effort to refine our growing and winemaking. Our 2013 production was 7,500 cases and we plan on growing to 9,000 over the coming years.
Michael, one of the owners, works closely with Cornell Cooperative Extension testing new grape varieties, and pushing the envelope on the quality of grape growing in the region. In that capacity he also serves as president of the Hudson Valley Wine and Grape Association.

Meet the Business Owner
Michael and Yancey M.
Business Owner
Whitecliff is an artisanal, family run winery created from the ground up by current owners and founders, Michael Yancey Migliore, in what was an empty field thirty years ago. They both left careers to follow their passion for winemaking.
Over that time they have worked towards their goal – to establish a winery that is both thoroughly rooted in the agriculture traditions of the Hudson Valley, and recognized and respected as a producer of fine, complex, European-style wines.
