The Stone Turret is bringing lodging back to Gardiner, Maine after half a century without! An historic mill town on the banks of the Kennebec River, Gardiner is undergoing a renaissance — art galleries and restaurants are popping up in the 18th century main street.

Shawn D.

Business Owner

Shawn Dolley, Innkeeper and Architect, designed the renovation of The Stone Turret. Born in Maine, Shawn lived overseas in Hawaii and Hong Kong from 2005 to 2012, specializing in hotel design for large projects. Shawn has returned to his beloved home state and family to own and operate The Stone Turret.
