Let me tell you a sorry of the two most perseverant movers I had today. It’s a story of a mission to San Diego, come rain or sleet or multiple flat tires. Reggie and Steven set out on a three hour journey that turned to eight, which usually would deter a client. But, Reggie and Steven hung in there through turmoil and got my truck load here. I am not saying that I can be happy with a truck that didn’t have good tires on it, but I am deeply satisfied with the effort these men put into making sure I was able to get my stuff done within a fair timeframe given the circumstances. These employees should receive a raise and bonus for the effort they gave. My only star removed is that my noon delivery ended up at 7pm. But as life has taught anyone, shit happens and it is how the people you work with deal with it that really counts

Dennis, Curtis and Weldon Harris were just awesome with my move! They were quick and courteous and I would highly recommend them for your next move!

White gold hooked it up for me and my boo just when we needed it! We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to get a storage unit and we had just finished driving cross country. So many places had all these weird hidden charges and white gold was like, «yo, we got you». We can rest assured in our sublet now that we have somewhere to put our stuff. Also we really like the name of the place.

White Gold Moving and Storage shocked my roommate and I. We needed two units. The process was incredibly professional. Staff was particularly cognizant of our needs. The quote was super quick. Overall, what made it all worthwhile is how easy it was. I’ve used a variety of storage units but White Gold Moving and Storage took a lot of burden off of my shoulders during a difficult period.

White Gold was great! Reggie and Mickey were quick and efficient — and well priced. We had them do a move from one of our sales offices to our corporate storage unit; they arrived on time, were very polite and helpful. Will definitely be using this company in the future.

have had bad experiences and average experiences with moving companies, but never one that made me want to write a review — until now. I’m not praising White Gold movers because they moved my boxes on time and were organized because technically, that is their job. What I am praising is the personalized care and service that each of their staff exhibited. The entire team was on top of their game and made sure that everything was to my expectations. That kind of service a moving company is not obligated to perform and that is why if I ever move again, I’ll choose White Gold.

The Worst Moving Experience. I have moved many times and had both good and bad experiences; but THIS WAS THE WORST EVER.
Movers took forever to load. Taking small items one at a time. Drinking sodas and taking breaks in first half hour. Due to poor performance, I had no option but to call the office and request to intervene after watching about two hours. Instead of getting better, the foreman became rude, got frustrated and told me I should have never call their boss. He told me that I made the big mistake. Pour out his anger on me. Condition got worst. They refused to work and ready to leave and I had apologized in order for them to continue. Afterwards, the workers intentionally ignore my requests. (Due to delay. we could not load everything and went to the new place). The truck left and I took few more items and locked up the place and went to the new location. But the truck didn’t come. It is only 10 minute distance but they didn’t come so I had to call the office again. When they finally come after taking more than hour later, they demanded more money in cash in advance before they unload. I gave in and went to the bank to withdraw cash. But they took our stuff. When I got back I heard that they threatened my son (who is minor). I had to call 911 to report but police was not dispatched nor official report was made because it is consider as civil case in court to settle. I felt my voice was not heard and more must be done.
Physical damages:
— broke bed frame
— tile floor ripped
— scratched sofa
— all refrigerator food had to be thrown out due to bring them back following day.
— many missing boxes (not arrived)!
Alums and pictures and many of my books are being stolen.
My son cannot study because of text books and computer power cords were in the missing boxes.

They were a shame to go to work and school without proper attire. I don’t even know how much clothings worth.
— Boxes were over turned, spilled… Mattress dirty because it was not wrapped properly.

Next day, one of the worker confessed that they didn’t unload because of the Super Bowl.
Extra helpers were hired but they couldn’t work because the movers refused to unload. We still had to pay them anyway. They are willing to testify to this.

. Only needed assistance to move some furniture from my student apartment to my new place in southern California. Since I was looking for an economical option but with quality service, I thought I’d try out White gold moving and storage. Glad I did! Everything went well.

I recently moved and was given a couple of furniture pieces by a friend and I knew there was no way that I would be able to move them by myself. A friend referred me to White gold Moving Company after using them for her move a few weeks prior.
White gold, was so great on accommodating such a short notice request and was very detail oriented and gave me all the pricing information up front. It was also refreshing that he provided me a Unilocal coupon while on the phone.
I didn’t have the addresses at the time and they called everyday to see if I had gotten them. This was nice to know that they were so on top of it.
On the day of the move, they were there right on time– if not earlier (before I got there). They were quick, efficient, nice and reassuring. Some of the furniture pieces were stuck behind other furniture, and they were great at pulling out other pieces and putting them all back. They were finished with my move within 3 hours and I couldn’t have been happier.
I highly recommend this company to anyone needing to move!

I had some furniture to move to New York for my son. Glad I could give the furniture and thankful I found this moving company to transport the items for me.
They were upfront during the entire process and made sure that everything got there in one piece.

if you want to pay someone a couple thousand dollars to shatter your fine furniture then you should definitely hire this company.
I was moving from SoCal to NorCal. The customer service was good before the pick up but right after pick up, the FRUADs started to show up one after the other. NEVER TRUST THE ORIGINAL QUOTE THEY GIVE YOU!!!
First, they got a full list of my furniture and boxes before giving me a quote and told me My furniture weighs less than the base price of 1050 $ for 1500 lb load.
Second they told me they have 2 other loads heading NorCal about the same day I wanted to receive the delivery and they would be able to make the delivery in 3 days by a big truck for all 3 loads.
Third, I was told they would wrap all the furniture in blanket and tape the boxes.
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER PICK UP?
30 minutes after the pick up they called and told me that the load weighs doubled the estimate and I should pay another 1000 $ cash at delivery. Also they wouldn’t be able to make the delivery in 3 days as originally stated but in 10 days (which changed to 10 working days later and ultimately ended up with 11 days delivery).
Shouldn’t a professional moving company be able to have a better weight estimate? I mean a couple of hundred ponds less or more I’d understand but double? THIS IS A FRUUAD.
Finally I received my brand new furniture smashed, scratched and broken and the boxes were pressed and torn. Apparently per movers, they had unloaded the
furniture and stored in a warehouse for 10 days and this damaged was done during the loading/​unloading and storage.
I filed a complaint with their Insurance Department, after 2 weeks of reviewing the claim, they offered me a 100 $ for my losses!!!
HEAR IT FROM ME!!! Don’t trust previous reviews. renting a truck and hiring movers off street or from the Home Depot, would be hassle free compared to this one and a lot cheaper.

The last time I moved, I paid a local moving company hundreds of dollars to move stuff from my apartment to my new place in LA and the worst part wasn’t that nothing was packaged right, but that I had thousands of dollars worth of damage. Needless to say, I almost swore off hiring another local moving service.
But somehow (and gladly) I found myself hiring White Gold moving and storage — and only because a really good friend of mine recommended them. Otherwise, I would have just gotten my friends and family to help me move. But anyways, I ended speaking to the owner — some guy who kept assuring me that everything would be taken care of. I had my doubts, but he and his staff really pulled through. I didn’t have to go through another bad moving experience and my stuff arrived packed well, neat, and in the same condition it was before the move. Can’t ask for more really.

I was looking for a moving company for some time and finally settled on White Gold moving and storage. I wasn’t sure at first because of some of the reviews, but at the end of the day, I’m glad I made the choice.
Everything was packed well, the staff was friendly, well– maybe except the owner. He was a bit intense but that’s fine. They got the job done just how I asked.

Pretty good experience, except an issue with pricing. I hired this company to move to my new apartment in northern California. After getting the initial quote, I agreed to the service. At the end of the move, they told me that I still owed them money because they had to move my stuff up flights of stairs. I guess I get it but still…
Other than that, everything was actually moved and organized really well. Nothing got damaged, they put my furniture where I wanted it, and there were no other problems.

I used these movers this past weekend 8÷30÷15. Three men showed up, they were actually an hour late but were very friendly, hard working and they apologized like 10 times.
They took only one break and worked very hard to catch up with the time lost. I moved from a 3 bedroom house to a two story house and they did a fantastic job. There were a few scratches on some items, but nothing serious. Overall I would recommend this company.

I owe a big thank you for this company specially the customer service that put up with all of the changes I had in the inventory and then the pick up dates.
John, the driver and the 2 other guys were extremely professional and worke very hard to get this one on time. All my stuff reached destination with safety on the day I was ready for delivery (had to use their storage for 2 weeks– surprisingly the don’t charge for that!).
I’m very pleased with their services and will highly recommend.

Best Moving company professional crew!
This was my first time I moving with no help of friends. This guys were very efficient and helpful and helped me put together my king size bed and when they unloaded the truck they put everything in the designated areas. They offered me the best quotes and the sales rep took the time to explain everything and even sent me an email replying all questions.
I thought that the delivery may take up to 14 days but they got it to me the following week. John the carrier went above and beyond to open a jammed door on one of my night stands! This is a company with a lot of integrity and I will definitely use them in the future.
