Since this is the closest Subway from my house and the gym that I typically go to, I would come here on Thursdays nights for my post workout meal. First of all, the parking situation here is retry sketchy af. Just be careful, especially at night. On my first trip here, customer service was pretty bad but over time it gradually got better. I enjoy the $ 5 deals that they are promoting at the moment since it’s so cheap and food typically doesn’t cost that cheap these days anyways! I mean there are better options for healthy food since Subway tastes pretty basic in my opinion but hey… poor struggling college student here haha.

The customer service is okey. The place is clean, every time a person finishes eating and leaves. One employee comes out to clean the table for the incoming customers. This location is very busy during school hours, due to el camino college students. So if your looking to get in and out it might take a while. However the line moves at a fast rate. So far so good.

I would rate this place a zero because I honestly believe that the manager is the person who is supposed to make your experience better and for you to leave happy and not upset. This has been the worst subway I’ve been to by far. Definitely a change of Manager would probably help. The manager that they have is so rude. I got my sandwich and asked for cookies she gave me some cookies that were prepackaged and I asked if they were fresh and she looked at me with attitude and said they are the same thing and I said ok thanks I was just asking. My friend and I leave we get in the car and my friend drops some of her soda on her pants. I look in the subway bag and the lady only gave me 2 napkins obviously that was not going to help clean up the mess. I go back and ask if I could please have a couple napkins and again she looks at me with attitude and tells me she already put some in the bag and I said no you put two napkins and then she gets two more napkins and gives them to me with an ugly attitude. Some of the other employees have a better attitude than her. I honestly don’t understand how she even got the job! such a bad attitude killed my appetite

The bread was definitely not fresh, totally opposite of what they say in the commercial. It was hard & crusty as If it had been previously toasted, maybe that’s why she asked if I wanted it toasted to hide the fact. As I bit into it, it scratched my lip & the top layer of bread just kept on peeling. It just wasn’t fresh, it was old bread!!! Oh, and their staff needs to be more friendly, that’s part of good customer service.

Depending on who is there, most of my experience have been ok but the manager is a douche. She is rude, always have something to say and just plain nasty

Not a fan. The staff is rude on a regular basis(8+ visits). If they are having a terrible day(which is every day) they will make sure you know about it. The service is so terrible they NEVER wear name-tags(most likely on purpose) so people like me can’t call them out in a review. The manager is the rudest of all. They constantly rush you, their ingredients are not the freshest(browning spinach/lettuce) and you tend to repeat your order 3+ times. Even then they still get it wrong. God forbid you point that out… then comes the, «Well YOU ordered…» like no, I know exactly what I ordered… I get the same thing every time. So don’t tell me what you misheard. Not planning on coming back anymore. I’m tired of giving these people a chance. The one good employee they had doesn’t even work there anymore — now there’s no hope.

I go to this subway often but when I went in tonight the two lady’s working just kept speaking Spanish and ignored the fact I’m standing waiting to be helped. As I’m looking right at them they just look at me and keep talking. So rude. I’ve worked at a sandwich shop when I was young. Never treat people as if they are nothing.

One of the few places to get something to eat around El Camino. It is pretty empty during the summer and winter semesters so you just go in and out, but that is not the case during Fall or Spring semesters. It is a very small place, so I just take my food to go.

Good as usually. I always get my bacon ranch chicken with a toasted wheat bread. I also got to have mustard on it:) Service is friendly and they are pretty consistent with delivering quality. It’s convenient for me to come here because it is closer to my house. However my favorite subway is still the one next to swan Thai in rpv(my favorite Thai) with an ocean view

For a Subway that’s usually packed with students from my college — El Camino, the staff works extremely fast and aren’t rude. They make your sandwiches just the way you like and whenever you’re eating there, they cater to if you need anything. If you only order a sandwich be prepared for two things. 1. To see cookies in packages of 3 where you pay. Don’t give in haha. 2. To be asked if you would like to make it a combo meal. I never like doing a combo meal at Subway. It doesn’t make any sense. We’re trying to eat healthy so why would I want chips with my healthy sandwich. Of course I only go to Subway when I’m trying to eat lean. Unless its pretty much empty I don’t recommend eating at this Subway only because you will be staring at a bunch of people while you eat, vice versa. All around, get Subway! And spacey!

The staff was nice enough, but the food wasn’t. The bread was stale and hard, the lettuce was brown, and the Dr. Pepper can out clear.

I needed a quick lunch, and I realized that I had no cash, only a credit card. I came here and saw that the line was extremely long. Yet, the line moved really quickly even though there was only 1 cash register; the employees kept the line moving really well and they did it with a smile. I was impressed with the service and how friendly they were during the lunch rush crowd.

I am a regular here and the subs are good. I have no problem with the food or the workers but: Today I went in and thier soda machine wasn’t working, o.k. no big deal, I’ll spend extra for a bottles drink. I picked up a paper cup, the manager happened to be there, he said«The soda machine wasn’t working«, I said I know Im just getting ice for the bottled drink. He said«I have to sell those» and tried to hand me a small plastic water cup. What happened to hospitality? A paper cup, is that a big deal? Really? I was so humiliated I threw the paper cup back at him. Quickly realizing his mistake he tried to hand it back apologizing. At this point I was too upset, grabbed my food that I originally was going to eat there and quickly left. There are two other Subways close by, I will not be going back to this one! Courtesy and respect is a necessity if one going to stay in business.

I mean how many people are actually going to write a review on one particular subway –__-. All i can say is that if you’re by El Camino, waiting for an hour for your next class, i’d say subway is your best bet for some fast, some healthy food, and cheap. Since there are a lot of students heading over here, they have plenty of staff to keep the line moving for your sandwich to be made as quick as possible. Service is mediocre, and they let you eat other food in there if your with a group of friends.

I go to this Subway rather than the one closest to my house because I don’t have to concern myself with how fresh their bread is. Since its located by El Camino College, I know that they go through quite a bit of it on a daily basis. I know some folks may not necessarily like this subway because of its close proximity to the school. Since El Camino isn’t like other colleges that have namebrand food places on campus, students often flock to these other places for lunch. I would say if you plan to go do not go between the hours of 11am and 1pm. That’s their peak hours and most likely you’ll have a hard time finding parking and/or a table if you plan to eat inside. If you do happen to go during this time expect a long line. Parking was always limited, but since Chicken Maison opened next door the parking is even worse! Customer service wise the people there are really nice and friendly. I think because I go there so much whenever I order two six inch subs the lady(I can’t recall her name at the moment) charges us for a footlong rather than two six inches. I say its pretty nice of them to do since they aren’t obligated to give you those type of discounts. I usually do Subway for dinner so the times I’ve gone its always been clean and empty save for when the Gardena Police or El Camino Police come in on their break. This is a good place if you’re in a hurry and on a budget.

Can, I just say that I eat at subway like every day well if not everyday almost everyday. I’m a big fan of the roasted chicken that’s like my thing. Basically that’s all I eat it’s perfect for someone like me who’s always on the go and doesn’t really like to eat junk food. I’m not into the McDonals, taco Bells and the Burger Kings of life. It’s just not my style I would much rather eat something that is actually healthy and will fill you up with out breaking the bank wide open.

Subway, eat fresh! Love Subway and this location is across from El Camino College so I wouldn’t dare go around lunch time but overall they are fast and friendly! :)

Eh. It could have done better. It’s not as neat as the other subway restaurant, but it’s clean enough for me. However there’s more weird college student hanging out at this subway. The line there is always long and the tables almost always fully occupied. I went to sit down at one of the booths near the windows at the front of the store but this weirdo told me that he’s using the table. «Uh… I– Um. Excuse me. I’m using the table.» «Yeah, I know.» I replied. «Just you right?» «Yeah.» “OK, then what’s the problem?” «I’m using it.» I looked at him with an indifferent exprssion on my face, he continued, «It’s occupied. Like a single room restroom. You don’t use it while there’s someone else in it.» «Um… Bad anathony.» I became a bit annoyed by him, but I continued with the creepiest smile on my face with the creepiest ‘gentle’ voice, «It’s okay to share a table with a stranger while you’re so anti-social» I put my hand on his hand, «It’s okay. If you need to cry in joy because another person have accepted your weirdness, you can sit next to me and cry on my shoulder.» «Ah…» He looked at me as if I grew a second head. He took his hand back and hastily gathered his stuff and left the store in a hurry. Yay! It works!
