Established in 2009.
We are a family owned and operated business since June 24, 2009. I learned to build rods over twenty years ago from a man named Stan Okinaka. Stan was running Mickey’s Rod and Reel in Monterey Park, CA. He was the first one to show me that rod building is an art. If you are out there Stan, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for reaching out to that young curious kid who kept coming into your store. Thank you grandma for always knitting around me, it must have rubbed off in its own way. I hope you enjoy my art, the possibilities are endless.
