I was a very nice experience, the staff was very nice, and accommodating. I will stay there again for sure.

This hotel honestly looks better from the outside, the hallways to the rooms carpet is pretty old and ugly. The rooms are decent fairly clean mini fridge and tv (not a flat screen) nothing special. That’s why they deserve 2 stars it’s a regular hotel nothing fancy or nice about it especially since it was supposidly renovated. I also tried to use the check in and receive a room for 54.99 and they did not honor their deal. That is pathetic. I’m staying at a hotel that I also gave 2 stars but at least has a pool. You can find better than the redondo beach inn for what your paying. I don’t recommend this place.

While the overall location of this hotel is decent, the facility itself is not great. The doors are not well-​insulated and the rooms are not completely clean upon arrival.
Also, parking can be very impacted.
On the positive side, the service is friendly and fairly responsive.
Still, there are better hotels closer to the beach for around the same price.

In a good location near pretty much anything & everything that’s assessable 2 wherever u need 2 get 2. Room decent & staff friendly & accommodating 2 your needs

So they are going through a renovation. The renovations start pretty early in the morning. I am not docking stars because of the renovation actually. It looks as if they are off to a decent start.
They offer breakfast in the morning which is nice. They do have wifi with plenty of routers so you get strong reception. They have on site laundry.
The one star is really because of service. I get a place like this isn’t gonna be there hand-​in-​foot clearly, but in the event of an emergency they were not exactly helpful.

An interesting story here. I was visiting Los Angeles for the first time in June of 2013 and inquired from friend about safe neighborhoods with reasonable costs. A safe neighborhood was especially important as I was travelling with my teenage sister. I found this hotel, after seeing the hotel was being renovated and with the great prices I immediatly booked the hotel.
Upon arrival, the outside seemed a little sketchy but the staff was friendly and helpful. Not having to pay for parking was also a huge plus. The room was great, it was updated and had a small refrigerator which helped keep us refreshed through the summer heat. After a few days in LA doing typical touristy things I realized Redondo Beach wasn’t the perfect location to stay.
However:
Fast forward to Feb 2014, I’m planning a girls trip back to LA with friends for my birthday. Again stressing about an affordable hotel in a good location (I was hoping for Santa Monica/​Culver City area). But after many days of nothing short of pulling my hair out I threw in the towel and booked this hotel once again. I know what to expect, the price makes it a steal, the parking is free and the room was clean.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!!! My goodness, now this place is a diamond in the rough! I lucked up and found this budget hotel online and boy am I glad I did! Customer is king… or queen here! Customer service was polite and warm and I was allowed to check in early without an extra charge. Room fee was $ 50 plus tax per night for 2 nights… nice deal! WARNING: They’re in the middle of doing minor construction so beware there is welding and machine noise until 8 pm or later at night.
I stayed in room 101 and can only speak on this room. The window view was of a brick wall but I didn’t care because the room itself was lovely! Plush carpet, air conditioning worked well, cold fridge, regular 27 inch tv with Direct TV cable channels, free fast WiFi, clean and gorgeously decorated for a budget hotel room. When I say clean, I mean Sheraton Four Points quality clean. The paint job at the bottom of the walls was a little less than stellar and had missing baseboards but if that’s what you’re looking for in a budget hotel room than stay the hell home. I ain’t complaining.
When I walked in the room it smelled sooo fresh and good! No bugs whatsoever, firm, squeaky, comfy bed, and they even offer a continental breakfast included in the room price! The bathroom was so nice. Wood laminate floors, granite/​marble counters, nice fixtures, plenty of towels, super clean tub/​shower and toilet.
I’m telling you you can’t find a better place for the price! I enjoyed free easy accessible parking right in front of my room. If I’m ever in the area again, as Arnold would say, I’ll be back – to room 101 that is!

Good for the money actually. Redone bathrooms (no towel bar, but the parts were in the room) that look nice. Bedroom was also good, comfy bed, desk, nighstands, oldish tv but had lots of channels, ac, small empty fridge. Has laundry and vending machines but I didn’t try those out. Supposedly breakfast too but the lobby is really small so I dunno where they put that. Only real downer is that we had ripped sheets when we got there (it was 9pm and they replaced them instantly) so theyre reno could go towards some nicer blankets. Also, you must put up the maid sign if you want them to come in and clean everything.

Great place. Nice, simple, helpful, beds are really comfy, cable, wifi, and soooo cheap. Awesome.

Don’t let the funky exterior, and location throw you off. This place has spent there money where it counts. On the rooms. Comfy beds, nice bathroom etc. The remodeling is still going on in the halls, but it’s really not an issue. The staff was beyond courteous, and, for the money, this place was a great stay.

Stay here for the past 3 days and it’s not so horrible. It’s under construction but honestly all I do is come to sleep. It’s a reasonable price and decent size rooms for being so cheap. The best thing about this place I have to say is the bathroom… No bugs and it has cable and wifi =*}

If you want a «quickie and/​or just wanna sleep» room, this is it. It’s not that bad of a low budget motel (has 4 – 6 rooms and a Goodwill-​like yard sale in the front that crowds the entrance).
It is somewhat interesting yet liveable, but it kinda gives you a feeling that an Asian Norman Bates might come get u while showering.
