Wow, so I went to the location in Garden Grove and it was a treat experience, but when I went into the Gardena location it was ego city! Dude had to correct me with all the terms. «No you can’t say it like that you have to ask it like this». Dude whatever man, I didn’t know I had to be a qualified expert to walk in here. People like you are bad for the sport, always have your nose in the air talking down to people and telling them about how long you have been involved with paintball. So then I asked him for a part the other technician had suggested I get and he told me that the technician doesn’t know what he’s talking about. WTF man. Why talk badly about someone who works for your company. Anyways I will never buy from this store again. If you do decide to go in make sure you know what the hell you are talking about or risk the snarky attitude toward you.

What can I say about paintball gateway. I’ve been a repeat customer since 2010, and I’ve had nothing but great memories. Both the LA and OC stores have trustworthy, reliable, and knowledgable gun techs. They are friendly and hospitable. Their customer appreciation events are so much fun! They want to help you have the best experience by recommending you the gear you need for the type of play your in to. I would recommend this pro-​shop to anyone.

Decided to get back into Paintballing after a 15 year hiatus. I spent hours researching and price checking online. I knew exactly what I wanted. Decided to pull the trigger on the first run of my gear yesterday (12/​19/​2015) and stopped by PB Gateway in Gardena, I had no clue this place was here, driven by it over 2k times. Walked in, looked around for 2 minutes and was greeted by Mike ! I told him my story and told him what I wanted, he did not try to steer me away from what I wanted, but did show me a few other markers in the same price range. But like I said I knew what I wanted and my hands agreed. PB Gateway retail store pricing is identical to online pricing from other companies. Mike even matched a ANSgear promo deal on the R2 and matched a black friday promo on a pod pack. During my shopping spree all the employees took part in Mike and I’s conversation, cracking jokes and also giving their personal input (which I highly enjoyed).
They didn’t have everything I wanted in stock (certain color R2 and i4 lens), but thats a given in the PB industry, too many darn items to stock !
So long as this storefront and wharehouse stay around, they have me as a customer for life. Anyways 5+ stars to PB Gateway in Gardena, super friendly and knowledgable guys ! I forgot to tip in the beer fund, sorry dudes ! Next time !

Was at a funeral today in Gardena that was right around the corner from their warehouse and retail store. Fantastic customer service. Discussed best paintballs being released for current weather. Knowledgable staff. Reasonable prices! Highly recommend their retail store. I have ordered a couple of thousand from their online store and have had perfect service.

This is the place where I purchase my paintball gun, I got an tippman Cronus. The staff were very helpful. Is been three years since I haven’t paintball. So I got a starter pack. So far I’m pleased.

The customer service here is AMAZING!
I go here all the time and every time I have gone they are super helpful. The people that work here are literally some of the nicest, friendliest, and most helpful people you will ever meet.
Everyone I have talked to is very knowledgeable about their products and are very helpful when buying new items or when you need to get your gear worked on.
They always have some kind of deal or sale going on here which is awesome.
The prices here are very competitive and they even price match (or at least they did for me when I asked if they did).
The showroom has tons of products on display and they always have the newest gear!
Another thing I love about Paintball Gateway is how actively involved they are with their customers. They are very active on social media and even organize the best events!
Went to one of their customer appreciation events at SC and it was so much fun!
I would not recommend any other paintball store for any of your paintball needs!
This place is hands down the best.

After a six-​year hiatus from paintball, I decided to get back into the sport and purchased all new gear at Paintball Gateway. On my first visit, I was met with the friendly face of Calvin! I told Calvin my situation and he spent nearly two hours helping me decide what I should buy. Calvin was very patient with my exhaustive questions and was very honest with his answers — I actually felt valued. He even tried to convince me to get a cheaper marker than what I was originally looking into. I left without buying anything and spent a week deciding between a Luxe or a Dye M2. I went back after I knew exactly what I wanted and had a few last-​minute questions. Calvin was there with his wonderful attitude and friendly demeanor. Once again, he was very patient and very… Awesome.
Calvin has practically won me over. Paintball Gateway will have my business for all of my paintball needs (unless if they tell me to buy a part somewhere else). I highly recommend everyone to visit Paintball Gateway in Gardena, you will be blown away by the customer service and their amazing prices!

I have played paintball off and on for about 15 years, but took a hiatus for the last 3 or 4 when I moved from Colorado to California. I recently decided I wanted to get back in the game and decided to stop by Paintball Gateway in Gardena because I want to get a new gun, tank, hopper, and mask to catch up with the times. I just wanted to see what they had in stock, try on some masks, and get some ideas. They had a great selection, their staff was super cool, and their prices were awesome. They were having a sale, but even the non-​sale prices are just as good as internet prices and you get the satisfaction of face to face interaction, and instant gratification. I like to support small businesses, especially in Paintball and these guys definitely earned my business. My «just looking» trip turned into a gun, tank, hopper, and mask purchase right away and Im super stoked. Don’t see how anybody could have anything bad to say about them.

I wish i could rate this place more than 5 stars! My home store is Ans gear but i will definitely come back many times. I went in with a broken ccm s6 and cci phantom and came out in 10 mins with both fixed and alot of knowledge. The best guys for me were Calvin and Mike and i would rate them 6 out of 5 stars satisfaction. This place really knows how to run a successful make-​you-​want-​to-​come-​back buisiness. If you ever need anyhelp with any paintball stuff, especially pump GO HERE FIRST!

I went here on Saturday (Nov. 29th) with a buddy of mine. We bought some gear early 06 or 07 and haven’t been here since. After so long, this place is still awesome. GREAT customer service and very informative, i’m sorry to say but I do not remember the name of the person that helped us out, they were great! We went in here to take a look and we came out knowing all of their specials and deals going on. Pretty good prices, to bad I was broke. Very informative and I look forward to speaking and making future purchase from them when I get some extra cash. 7 years since I played, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them.
Oh yeah, I will be taking my tank to get hydro tested and hopefully this pump me up well enough to get back in the game.

Great customer service and very very pump friendly… also they have great deals on paint which is the Achilles heel of paintball… Never had an issue with something he fixed, never had an issue with a product I bought from them and they are always well staffed, unless its their year end sale where its a zoo in there!!! If you’re in LA, then I’m sure you know about this place as its the «only» good store in LA!

I can fully attest to what Nick S. stated about the quality of service offered by Hollywood Paintball versus Paintball Gateway. Hollywood paintball just doesn’t have the customer services skills that Paintball Gateway utilizes.
I believe when I walked in I spoke to Jole at Gateway. He was honest, provided a lot of information as to what I needed to get started. Didn’t try to upsell me and actually deterred me from buying things that I didn’t need. He also fixed a hopper that was sent to me missing a screw and replaced it for me. Totally something the other stores wouldn’t have done.
I really hope this place stays around because they found a lifelong customer in me.
Do yourself a favor even if it’s out of your way. If you need paintball gear and you want great people, and great prices, then come to this establishment. I guarantee you will be pleased at their selection, service, and availability of parking haha.

Thanks Paintball Gateway! You guys were able to fix my compressed air tank and it only took about 10 mins and $ 15. I think the guy that assisted me was Joel. He was awesome, friendly and helpful. Give to the BEER FUND (tip box) if you’re happy! LOL!
Paintball stores are a dime a dozen now. It’s hard to find a nice store that is well stocked with popular, updated and new equipment and gear. Most stores now-​a-​days are poorly stocked and have little to no customer service… Paintball Gateway is the opposite of that. I’ll definitely be back if I need something worked on or to pick up supplies.
They have a lot of cases of paintball in stock and in store. They seem to have a good turn around in paintball and equipment also.
Plenty of parking. Make sure you don’t miss the store in the back of the warehouse area. I had to call in and ask them again where the store was located.
