I was in the mood for California rolls, looked on Unilocal and ended up here. I was not disappointed sushi restaurant on one side bar/karaōke with food on the other. The food was fresh and tasty and the Sake was very good. I will be back.

Cute little Japanese bar /one karaōke room. Has tvs to watch sports. The time I went was to wait for my table at shinsengumi and it was happy hour. The lady said happy hour is everyday. There wasn’t really anyone in there but the beer was good come in a large bottle if you get the asahi or Sapporo

This is my go to place when I feel like singing and it’s only a mile from my parents place where I visit often. Not only is this place great for singing karaōke, it’s connected to a sushi restaurant next door. So if you want to eat some Japanese food, it’s right there. The food is very good and reasonably priced. If you want to sing a song, you just ask for karaōke books, find your favorite song, write down the song number on a piece of paper and hand it to a staff member. When you’re up, they’ll bring you the wireless mike and tell you you’re next. If it’s a very popular song, they know it and will queue it up without you having to look it up in the book. The staff is very friendly and attentive. If you are by yourself and seem lonely, they’ll come and talk to you to make you feel welcome. They have a vast collection of Japanese and American songs. I’ll be surprised if they don’t have your favorite song. Keep in mind, they will charge you $ 1 a song you sing. One night I sang about 60 songs. That’s $ 60 for the songs plus food and drinks. Well let’s say it was a very expensive night but went home happy.

I am extremely disappointed with the service tonight. I have been to this location between 5 to 7 times. I am a karaōke expert, and I frequent all karaōke bars. This night I decided to take my friend and it was a disaster. She had a coke with two orders of california rolls and I had water with California rolls and calamari. When we requested the bill we noticed that it took a while. They ladies prepared the bill then disappeared in the back. I found the bill face down on the next barstool beside where me and my friend was sitting. The check had all of our food charges plus an extra $ 20 for karaōke songs. I questioned the check and they said we charge per karaōke song. I have been here maybe 5 times and have never been charged per songs. We did not buy alcohol because we don’t really drink. We made sure the we ordered enough food to take care of that. We were advised that we had to pay it and they tried to tell me that everytime I came prior they had charged me for songs and I was like no, I have never paid for karaōke songs. I sing alot. I would know if I’m paying for songs. They don’t have any signs posted with the price per karaōke song. If I had known they charge then we would have just paid the dollar per song instead of ordering all of the food. I always buy and support the business, I hate when people come in to bars and don’t by anything. That is not me. I think they tried to pull a fast one because we were the only ones in there all night from 10 to 1:30. So they wanted to pass the charge on to us. Not sure, but they tried to call the cops because we didn’t want to pay. I advised them that I don’t mind paying what I ordered, I didn’t order any karaōke songs and there are no signs anywhere advising that the charge 1 dollar per song. I have been here 5 or more times I would know that if I had paid before. Do not go to this place they speak very little English and can not properly communicate with all guest. Great night with a terrible ending!!!

This review is only for karaōke and alcohol. This is our go-to place for karaōke. We like to go to karaōke rooms where you get your own room but there is no alcohol or food at those places in south bay so we tried this place. I don’t feel comfortable singing in front of other patrons that I don’t know but this was a fun place. Everyone else sings old school japanese songs. My group always sings craz american songs and they love it! They have a pretty good selection of American songs grouped by artist. They have a full bar and a small food menu. It definitely is a fun place, even if you don’t speak Japanese!

Love this place! Is it because I’m Japanese??? Is it because I love the gin and tonic the bartender makes??? Either ways I love this place! There’s a counter that seats about maybe 10 people, and there are few more tables. Not a very big place, they do have a private room for parties. Came here one night because we didn’t really know any bars in Gardena. What a find =) The bartender that’s there on weekend is awesome. He takes his time making your drink, and it’s perfect. The only two people know how to make my drink to its perfection is him and the bf It’s such a hole in a wall type of bar only older Japanese salary man would go! I do often see other locals there so it’s really cool

This place is fun, Karaōke is loud and there is a private room. The food is nice and the workers are friendly. Their drinks aren’t cheap.

Only once in my life have I ever did Karaōke and it was here. I can’t sing and I found out how bad I really was with the horrible squealing of my voice in the speakers. This is a Japanese Karaōke bar so the patrons are Japanese but they mostly sing songs in English. They have a full bar but most of the regulars have a bottle that they purchase there and keep there until their next visit. They offer edamame to nibble on and it is a blast to watch everyone sing. Back to my singing… the other patrons were so nice and polite and they still smiled and applauded after I probably destroyed their eardrums. I am thankful I found out that I suck at this place and not some other place where they probably would have thrown tomatoes at me.
