This is the place to go and have the worst experience of your life I came early around 6:50to get an oil change an maintenance on my car a guy named Edgar fry took my car in saying that sence I didn’t had an appoinment and more then 100 people were promise service for this day my car will probably be ready by 1pm wich I was ok with I had my husband picked me up by 8:49 I received a call from Edgar asking me for authorization to do all this services on my car that accordingly to him were needed he then said they will be starting to work on your car around 10 to 10:30 so by 12 pm it should be done I called him back because they were charging me close to $ 600 dollars I have the maintenance package and bumper to bumper warranty no one was able to help me or contact him what so ever I drove back to get my car and take it were I bought I just to find out that all the services were done in 1 hour it was 10:00am when I got there to get my car and then his words were ur car is done all the services are done really in 1 hour u did all this when u told me the car was gonna b ready at 12:30 or 1 wow I guess money hungry then I ask to speak with the manager his name Shawn white guy very rude that said same thing not able to explain why all this going not basically just interested in collecting money I will not ever come back here and will not rec no body when I ask him for the list of all the services that they were doing on my car he refuse to show me what he had in hand I tried to see it and then he treat hen to call the cops which I think was very unnecessary if u guys wouldn’t be liying and offer a better service u wouldn’t had upset customers he did nothing to help as a manager that is that position is way to big for u 0 customer service I hope they go for better training very very disappointed money hungry Honda service place !!! Don’t go there

What a pleasant experience coming here.
From so many different ones, i decided to come here and I am glad that i did.
The customer service that i received was amazing from Charlie (sales person), The manager (which i forgot his name), and armando (the person upstairs who does the paperwork).
i received so much useful information, and Charlie was so knowledgable.
If you want someone who will make your experience in purchasing a car as something special especially if you are a first time buyer come and ask for Charlie!

Nice service. Easy to deal with staff. No hidden mark ups on cars. The location is under construction, a little difficult to find parking and get around. Besides that it was a positive car purchase (that’s rarely the case). Thanks DCH Honda.

Had very bad experiences with other dealers. I spoke to Paul at Honda and he was true with his words. I saw the car that I wanted a Nissan Rogue 2015 and LOVE IT! Got a great price and got financed… Go see Paul he is calm and collect while I was tense. He is very professional and answers your questions and he took the time to listen to me with all my questions.

This review is based on my third experience today with customer service. Mr. Fry is a great representative attentive and kind he gets a high 4. The service was good timing which i waited for about an hour an some minutes. I left happily since I was out in hour. I left the dealer and drove few blocks down and turned back around because the tire pressure alert came on. i told the person handing out the numbers that i was just there and had already received services and pointed out the alert. This is when the lack of service comes in. He pumped some air or lack of and cleared my alerts stating everything is good i can now leave «again». At this point no alerts came on as i drove home and to work. When i tried leaving for lunch my car is immobile due to a flat tire which was previously checked by the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. It was an inconvenience for this weekend. Im a paying customer that didn’t receive the appropriate services on my vehicle. Im very disappointed due to this incident. If you can avoid this department please do. My safety was in jeopardy.

If you are trying to buy a car, call Alvin Benjamin. We contacted him through email and in two days had the deal we wanted worked out. We came in. There was ZERO haggling. We got there. He showed us our previously picked out car then walked back and filled out the paperwork. Within an hour we were out of there in our new car. All the negotiation was done from home and was sooo easy. We’ve purchased many cars and this experience was the best by far. He was not pushy, very kind and really just wanted us to leave satisfied. Thank you Alvin. We will definitely be referring everyone we know to you.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS DEALER! My wife took her car in for an oil change with a coupon (which they did not honor). They told her that her car needed different maintenance (they did not explain to her that it was an option). They charged us the max for tire rotation, air/​cabin filter, and oil change for a total of $ 215. That’s not the worst part! They called my wife and told her 2014 CR-​V was «NOT SAFE TO OPERATE». They told her that she needed new brakes all around for $ 658. The car has 28K miles. I called the manager Shawn Burkel about it an he said «the car needs new brakes». When I got to the dealer I pointed the brakes out to him. I went to another dealership to check the brakes. They told me that the brake pads were still 80% NEW and that the car was safe to operate. This place is a scam. Please make sure that you get a second opinion before you trow away hundreds of dollars. This place uses scare tactics to make money. Honda, will be notified along with BBB. This place need a class action law suit.

Came in on a Wednesday night at 6:15 p.m. left a little after 9 p.m. with a killer lease deal. Everybody was spectacular from Alex the sales consultant, to Kirk the Sales Manager. Especially want to thank Herm the finance manager for being very professional. He was a pleasant to speak too, and was more than willing to help me with my contract when I changed my mind on something a day later.
Will defiantly get my next car here.

The Service Department here needs a complete overhaul. You make an appointment and it takes four hours to get an oil change. You pull up to the Service Department and you are not acknowledged for over 30 minutes in the waiting lane while employees stand around talking and I could hear them laughing at Edgar’s story of a frustrated customer.
They tell you the Drop-​off shuttle will take 10 minutes and 40 minutes later nobody even thought of letting you know the status even though you wrote your name on the shuttle list as instructed. The kids chair is an accident waiting to happen, I am sure managers and employees have walked past the broken chairs many times.

I ended up taking my 2003 Acura RSX Type S into the dealer. Yeah I know it’s an Honda dealer but the service manager Waldo Marerro was able to order the parts that I needed and get them installed. My air conditioner was not working correctly. At first I thought it was the compressor which is very expensive to replace. The car has 197,000 miles on it. Thank goodness it only needed a new cooling fan motor. Not exactly an inexpensive part but it was needed or no air-​conditioning for summer!
It also needed some TLC so I decided to change the brake fluid and the power steering fluid. Unfortunately the a/​c part had to be shipped and wasn’t available at any Acura dealer in the area but Wally took care of it. Since the part was not going to be available until Saturday and this was late Thursday he was able to get me a rental car.
Wally called me and said the part arrived late on Saturday and wouldn’t be completed in time. That’s ok I was driving a new Honda Accord Sport. I picked up the car today and my A/​C is now like a freezer, the car was washed and cleaned ready for pickup.
Wally informed me of what needed to be done. Originally I told him to change all the fluids. Brake, power steering, manual transmission, radiator. Wally told me the only fluids needed to be changed were the power steering and brake fluid.
If you need your car serviced ask for Wally. If he tells you your car needs something it really does need something and you should get it repaired or replaced. It’s not just a «sales job» like some other places I’ve been to. After 197,000 miles I have no complaints. My fiancés car is a 2000 accord with 243,000 miles. If you maintain your car it will last you a long time. We’re looking at getting a new one next year for her.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is my second experience with this Service Department at Gardena Honda and it just keeps getting worse. Both times I have gone in for the Manufacture Recalls. The first time what they said would take 2 hours and it took 6. This last time I made an appointment A WEEK BEFORE and let them know what I was coming in for. Dropped off my car at 7:45am and was told that my car would be ready at 3pm. Got a call from Service Rep. Margarita at 3:30pm that my car was ready to pick up after 4pm. Got a call 10 min later from Margarita that they were UNABLE TO DO ANY OF THE RECALLS because they didn’t have the tools and or the parts to complete the work. SERIOUSLY… you don’t have the tools to do a manufacture recall? And then it took 8 hours for you to figure out that you didn’t have the parts!!! It took EIGHT hours for them to do NOTHING on my car. A complete waste of time.
I was told that I have to go to a different dealership. Ya think? Will not be going back here. EVER.

Buying a car requires a lot of time and research. I had a courtesy check from my credit union for financing, I knew what I wanted. I test drove it at another dealership and starting using the Internet to field offers on my model. I did this because As a female the process can even more daunting… Like when you step on any lot, you are a baby bird surrounded by hungry hawks. heck I have even guys say they feel that way (they just don’t admit it). Use Internet sales, people!
I had 3 strong internet deals on the table: Irvine, Fontana and Gardena. I got an offer from Carmax in case the trade in at the dealership was an issue (it later was, I got offered more form Carmax). I should also mention that some dealerships «deal» were a joke… one send me a $ 1 off. I ultimately found my Gardena offer from

My first internet manager from Gardena via email was Charlie but he wasn’t able to call me back when I called for him on Tuesday night. I personally don’t think he was given the message. No fault of his. The deal was almost lost but I did ring back the next day and worked with Joey who took my buy seriously and who saved the deal.
What you learn though the Internet sales is that you want a FIRM number before you walk through their door. Because if not you have to deal with «dealer upgrades»… I was very firm about no dealer upgrades. I emailed with Irvine the most but they were a little higher than Gardena (which is like a month of a car payment) I gave their lead manager the option to meet Gardena’s price which he didn’t so I called back and got Joey.
Joey had to do some dealing on my behalf but I got the price I wanted. He also helped me out after purchase as for a couple hours I had two cars. (I had to babysit nearby for a couple hours and the deal ran long). I needed to go to the nearby Carmax to sell my second car as the dealership trade in didn’t work. It was late but Joey went the extra mile helping me take both cars over. thank you again sir… I think some salesmen may have not cared since the deal was signed. for those reasons ask for Joey in Internet sales… or even Charlie. They are a team who will make your Honda hopes happen.

This is the first dealer I went to since it’s local and started looking into getting a car. The salesmen seem nice and I probably could have gotten a deal done here.
Have you ever seen those ads in the newspaper or on the internet where there is a deeply discounted car like $ 5000 off of the msrp and it seems too good to be true and the fine print usually says «1 at this price» Then when you go to the dealer, it is always sold. Kind of a bait and switch.
Well, the crazy thing is Gardena Honda really has these type of cars, brand new and ready to sell. They have them in a lot on the northern side of the dealership facing Western. They may be a certain color, trim, manual car that is harder to sell so they discount it. They had accords, civic, fits, many to choose from that were deeply discounted. At least 15 of these cars when I was there. I was looking for a similar setup at other dealerships and none had them, the other dealers only have a new and used lot. No discounted lot.
Although I ended up not buying my car here, I feel I could have gotten a good deal and my dad has bought one here in the past. I would recommend buying here or Norm Reeves in Cerritos.

Recently my husband and I purchased a 2015 Honda Accord from Alex G. and we were so pleased with his service and help that we went in and purchased another vehicle from him again over than weekend. Alex was very helpful, respectful and concerned for our needs and helped us out to the best of his ability and got us a great deal. I recommend Alex to anyone who wants to purchase a new car. Worst service department ever!, took forever and a day to be seen and I made an appointment in advance. This was my second time coming to this dealership (fool me once kinda thing). The first time the guy that helped me was a complete unprofessional jerk. Then to top it off my oil meter (check engine light) was not even shut off. I had to tell them myself to reset it which had me worry about my car even being worked on.
Now the most recent visit is when I played the waiting game. I had an appointment at 3:30 and I didn’t get seen til about 3:55. And I wouldn’t have been seen had I not gone inside to grab someone to tell them I had been waiting.
Sucks because it’s right next to my house but I would recommend making the drive to Carson Honda

HERE IS A SUGGESTION TO THE HELPFUL HONDA DEALERS: RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBORS!!!
As a neighbor of Honda dealership they do not care about the homeowners or their safety in the area. I have lived right behind the dealership for 6 years. I have repeated problems with them using our residential streets such as Manhattan Place, Gramercy, W 156^th and W155th Court, to test their cars at excessive speeds with unsafe maneuvers. With many elderly in our area, several neighbors have reached out to them many times to no avail. They seem concerned when you speak about it, but then nothing is resolved for any length of time.
They change management with regularity and I have been in contract with 3 – 4 managers in six years regarding this, it gets better for 2 – 3 months and starts again. In addition I have personally spoke with service manager and general manager, the service manager does not care.
In addition I have spoke to them about their employees taking up all of our parking in the area, right now they claim it is because of construction. But it happened before that as well! Our driveways are short and so many people with large vehicles have to park on the street because Gardena PD gives tickets if our cars are obstructing the sidewalk. The general manager told me they have parking for their employees off site with a shuttle, but since it is not close by they choose our neighborhoods. The service manager stated «it’s public property, if our employees want to park in your neighborhoods».
So how about the SUPPOSED HELPFUL HONDA dealers extend an act of kindness to their residential neighbors. Because now, due to that horrible experience with this Honda dealership I have refused to buy a HONDA.
Shame on DCH HONDA!

My wife and I have bought our last 3 cars here and every other car that she and her parents have owned since the 80’s has also come from this dealer.
In addition to a great sales staff, I believe that one of the strengths that helps DCH Gardena Honda ti maintain and grow their repeat business is their Service Dept. They treat us well, are very honest and take care of our vehicles.
Our primary Service Advisor is Emilio and he is a great asset to this company, but there are also times when someone else has to help us and they all do an excellent job as well.
I’m not saying every car I buy from this point forward will be a Honda (Awesome vehicles, but I like others too) but as long as I am buying them, they will most likely come from his dealer.

After shopping around a few Hondas for the right price I must say, DCH Honda was by far the best experience for my mother & I! We came in as first time buyers and were assisted by Eddie. He was very informative and attentive to our questions about the 2016 Pilot EXL.
After going over a few details he introduced us to Fernando who was also a great sales man!
our buying experience was a breeze and very relaxing.
Eddie and Fernando were honest and trustworthy. Customer service was TOP NOTCH!
