At Capital Auto Salvage in Gardena, Ca. we specialize in all makes and models of vehicles. We have two acres of parts and carry a large assortment of engines, suspensions, transmissions, doors, fenders, axles, and many other parts. If we do not have your part your looking for we can find it on our parts locating type systems, or on one of our three hotline phones. We also sell salvaged vehicles here from time to time.

We are a family owned company that has been serving the South Bay, Los Angeles, and Orange County for over 56 years.

Established in 1955 The history of Capital Wheels, A subsidary of Capital Auto Wrecking & Used Cars, Inc.

It started in Los Angeles with two hot rod enthusiasts still in high school; Mike Huniu and his cousin «Fast» Eddie Levy. It was in the early 1950’s when they bought a service station on the corner of 51^st Street and Hoover which, back then, was a nice part of town. After a few more years of fixing and racing cars, they decided that they like tearing cars apart better than just putting them together. They moved the business which was located on a strangely named street, South Figueroa, in a small city named Gardena. The year was 1955 and Mike and Eddie named their newly acquired business Capital Auto Wrecking Inc., or simply: CAPITAL. In 1988 Norman’s father, and business partner passed away. This left 29 year old Norman (Mike’s son) in charge of a growing enterprise. Today Capital has one of the most qualified and knowledgeable sales staff in the industry.
