Best Yet Express Incorporated (BYX) is a TL and LTL freight company providing reliable local freight transportation services to Los Angeles and surrounding areas since 1978. We promptly distribute Trailer Loads (TL) and Less than Trailer Load (LTL) goods, and also offer all necessary related services like pickup, delivery and storage to Los Angeles County, the greater Los Angeles area, Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Over our 30-​plus year history, we have developed a set of guidelines and policies that set the standard for professionalism in the LTL trucking business. We own our own fleet and do not employ owner-​operated vehicles. Our trucks are equipped with the latest Global Positioning System and Nextel radios to ensure an accurate and timely delivery of your product, whether it be standard delivery or expedited/​rush delivery. Jay Newjahr Vice President and CEO Jay began his career with his father’s company in 1998 as a dock worker and soon moved into office administrator, account executive, dispatcher, General Manager and is now the Vice President and CEO. He truly is an example of what can be achieved through good old-​fashioned hard work and dedication. Through his experiences at Best Yet Express, Jay has gained an extensive knowledge and passion for all things logistics and has developed into a true expert in the field. Jay is responsible for seeking out new business ventures, overseeing day-​to-​day operations, and implementing all company advancements. Jay’s entrepreneurial spirit has been an integral part in quadrupling the number of company employees, tripling fleet size and moving the company to a building nearly 10 times its original size.
