Buyer Beware
Contacted Brandon (CEO) to have shutters installed in our home. We decided to give him a chance because he was a local small business.
We decided to oversee the fact that he does NOT HAVE A CONTRACTORS LICENSE. He reassured us that a contractor’s license is not needed for window treatments and his work would be «Clean and Professional» (That was our first mistake).
Then he stated that the installation would take over a month to have shutters installed instead of «Shutter in 7 days» like his website says, but we still went ahead with hiring him. (Second Mistake)
Then he didn’t honor his buy 5 shutters get 1 free. He claimed he already «hooked us up». When we did additional research we learned the price was inflated. (Third Mistake)
When installation day arrived (almost a month of waiting) the order was still incomplete because the upstairs slider was missing.
During the installation louvers were breaking off. Shutters were installed crooked. Brandon again reassured us that this was completely normal. He even demanded the balance paid even though the work was incomplete.
My husband initially believed his explanations based on the appearance of the shutters from a distance, but after Brandon left we found more damages to the shutters. We also found that Brandon decided to drill in screws in angles. Some of the shutters don’t close appropriately. He cracked our drywall due to drilling in angles. There are large gaps in between the shutters and wall window seals. We called that morning to express our concern he so he can fix the problem. He stated that it would take a couple weeks to come down due to the fact that he was busy with other jobs.
We did some researched and learned that he is lying about being an actual accredited business from the Better Business Bureau. We made a BBB complaint referral and after several months he finally complied and removed his FAKE BBB Accreditation because it’s illegal to false advertise and he was directly contacted by the BBB to remove the fake logo.
When I asked him for the invoice from his vendor since I suspected he gave us the lowest quality of shutters and top dollar he denied to show the invoice to me and proceed to call me obscene names.
We confronted him about the damages and the false advertising. Brandon then became enraged with me and proceeded to aggressively yell and call me and my husband derogatory names. I stayed calm even sent him the pictures of out damages and defective products. We attempted to come to an agreement, but he continued to be aggressive and yell at me on the phone until he finally refused to complete the work. It felt like I was dealing with a thug due to all the profanity and yelling he did towards me.
I am attaching a few of the pictures of Brandon’s work because pictures speak a thousand words. I have never been so disrespected by a so called business let alone the CEO. It has even come to that point that I am afraid for my safety because of his aggressive behavior towards me. Think twice before letting an unstable individual into your home.
His vender Shutter Smart will also not honor their online promise. They even went to the point to disable their online 100% satisfaction Guarantee.
Finally after weeks of going back and forth with him, Brandon offered to settle with us for a smaller portion of the balance he said was due. This was mainly because we threatened to take him to court and did not give up. Due of the unnecessary stress and hardship this ordeal was causing me and my family we agreed to settle with him even though we lost several thousands of dollars to his faulty installation.
I hope this review and information helps home owners make an informed decision. If you also look at the reviews on this Unilocal page lots of the reviews are done by his friends and family there are some reviewers that have only done one review which is very suspicious. The reason I went with this company was because of all the positive reviews but we later learned that the reviews are this page are deceitful. Brandon has even given himself a positive review it can be found on the «not recommended» reviews for his page.

Brandon is the most detail oriented contractor we have ever hired at our house ! Eddie came out and triple checked every measurement, he gave a straightforward, no pressure, no nonsense, no over inflation, no i’ll take $ 2000 -$ 3000 off if you sign now, estimate !! Together they came to our home, they were on time on the day promised, they did a magnificent job see pictures and they were extremely courteous and professional !! I would extremely highly recommend skipping all of the competitors if you want to be extraordinarily satisfied and thrilled with your plantation shutters !! Yes WE WILL BE recommending only 2 Day Blinds to everyone we know !!! These wood plantation shutters are the finest upgrade we have made in our home & we could not be happier !! Fantastic job Brandon and Eddie !!!

Extremely pleased with 2-​Day Blinds. Brandon was very helpful. Arrived at my home a few days after inquiring about his business, measured all the windows, showed me samples and made the process seamless. Blinds were installed right away and took no time at all. Shutters took a bit longer but are gorgeous and we are so happy. Great customer service from Brandon and his team. Highly recommend!

Just got some roller shades put in my living room. Brandon worked really quick and he delivered on time. My roller shades look great in my house. I wish I would of found him sooner so he could of done my shutters in my bedrooms also. He is not pushy it is really up to you on what you want he won’t sell you any bs. The prices were low compared to two other places I got a quote on. The quality was top notch. I already had him measure my French door and stair well window just in case In the future I want it done. Highly recommend

Recently bought my first house (woo hoo!) which has tons of windows and needed some kind of covering (booo!). After searching Unilocal,I found 2 day blinds. Called and spoke to Brandon, who I now know is the owner. We set up a time for him to come out and that was it. Easy.
Brandon came over and saw all the windows and gave me options that would fit my budget, as well as make the home look awesome. You can tell how much he loves what he does. He really took his time to make sure all the measurements were correct and explained to me how the shutters would look in certain areas of the home. Now came the price. Everyone says that shutters are ridiculously expensive and so I was worried at what the cost would be. Was very happy to see that it wouldn’t break the bank. Don’t get me wrong… still pricey but definitely a great deal.
Blinds were installed about a week later and they were installed by one of Brandon’s employees. Very professional and polite and knocked out the installation of the blinds in a couple of hours. Shutters were custom made so those would take about 2 – 3 weeks. The entire time, Brandon would send me texts, asking if everything was OK and would update me on the shutter installation. Seriously, who does that? It was like an old friend was checking in to see how things were.
Shutter installation day…2 guys show up (one was the guy who installed my blinds) and again, both were great, punctual, quick, and polite. Can’t say enough great things about this company, it’s employees, and Brandon. Afterwards, he checked in with me over the phone to make sure everything was good. That’s service. If you’re even thinking about new window coverings, call Brandon.

I called Brandon after seeing the reviews here on Unilocal.He came out and gave me a great price on blinds and an estimate on the spot and had them installed within a week. Everything went so smooth. The tech cleaned up and finished so quick i was surprised. Would definitely use this company again.

So very impressed with 2-​day blinds from beginning to end! They came they delivered they left it was that easy… my results are as I wanted posting pictures for proof.

After seeing the 2 Day Blinds van around my neighborhood on multiple occasions (and after a year of saving up after buying our home) I decided to give them a call. I will be honest, I didn’t bother getting other quotes because I saw all the Unilocal reviews where other people compared quotes and I also hate rejecting people after getting consultations.
Eddie immediately returned my call and we set up a home consultation. Eddie was very knowledgeable and showed me many samples. Because I’m on the more plain side and on a budget, I went with the most practical choices. And who knew there were so many shades of white? I decided on the cell shades for our long and narrow windows (the bottom and top can be drawn depending on sun), laminate blinds for the bathrooms (so much nicer in appearance and function than the cheapy plastic ones that break) and a roller shade for the kitchen window (needed one that was easy to clean and could get wet near the sink).
The blinds were ordered and two guys came out to install them. Because we only had 8 blinds it only took a couple hours. Our cat started playing with the strings/​pulls so I asked them if they had little hooks to wrap so they would be away from our cat’s reach. They had some in the van but unfortunately not enough with them, along with an extension string for our window in the stair case, so we were told to call Eddie to schedule a time for them to come back. We also got an orchid :)
It took them a week to come back due to other installations but Brandon came and took care of everything.
Overall great experience and awesome blinds/​shades. I definitely recommend them!

Hired Brandon & Edward to hang a single motorized shade along the stairway wall which was difficult due to the different heights of the stairs making it challenging to use a ladder safely. They were professional, innovative in safety approaches, efficient, and clean – conscientious in protecting walls and floors. They made sure everything worked properly and made calls to consult others for ideas in resetting the remote control for customization.
Best of all, their prices were reasonable and they offered referrals for me in terms of my other house projects. Great guys to do business with!

But seriously, I was coming home late from work and was hoping make it with my husbands car to make it to the Costco gas station. But alas, I didn’t want to chance it and pulled in to the Arco in Gardena. and pulled up behind a Prius,
Dude is jamming his music, and then then I see it, a magnet stuck on the car to advertise blinds, you know what you put in your house to stop neighbors and their free peepshow.
After I’m done, I figure I talk to him. Ok so I have an SUV with wall know is a gas guzzler, I hurry up as he is about done filling up. Felt like total dork and ask so, do you do blinds in Long Beach. So picture this. Macklelmore meets Slim Shady… That’s Brandon.
He awesome, and so enthusiastic about his job. Come to find out he was the owner.
Hubby called him the next day and Brandon came out a day later and we all sat down and he measured our windows, explained the different type of bind and even suggested things we hadn’t thought of, ie, roller blinds for our back room sliding glass doors.
A week later they were installed. He and his partner came, and installed them very quickly, showed us how to they work. He went around to make sure they all functioned correctly and when I point out one of the roller shade was hitting the door handle, he quickly readjusted it.
Awesome guy, good works fast, super funny and efficient.

I was interested in having some shutters installed on some of my windows. After receiving a few quotes from several companies, I decided to contact 2-​Day Blinds. I spoke with Brandon and we scheduled a time for an estimate. He was on time, very professional and took his time explaining the install process, unlike the other sales rep from another company. The price was very reasonable, plus the Unilocal reviews were positive. so I decided to get 7 shutters installed. I am very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend 2-​Day Blinds!

Brandon installed our blinds in April. He came by, went over options with us, and had a great price. He was able to install about 17 sets of blinds within a couple of days and did a great job.
Recently one of our blinds began telescoping. (The blind was rolling out unevenly and getting stuck.) Brandon responded to my text messages and fixed the blind while checking others to make sure they were hanging properly. There was no charge for this follow up. Customer service is very important to him as is our satisfaction. I would recommend 2 Day Blinds to anyone. Can’t beat the price or service.

2-​DayBlinds was a godsend! Prior to reaching out to Brandon, I’ve shopped around to other places and almost changed my minds about getting shutters for my windows due to the high price. However, Brandon’s price was completely reasonable.
The sales person that came over was Eddie. He was extremely helpful and very patient in answering all of my questions. I am pretty green when it comes to windows treatment so I asked a lot of questions (so did my wife). Eddie came over around 6:30 pm so that he could meet us both after work, did his measurements and gave us a price quote. The visit took 30 – 45 minutes total, and he mentioned that he will submit the order and that our shutters should be ready in about 3 weeks.
For the installation, Brandon actually came out and do the job himself (with another installer whom I believe his name was Edward?). They were very friendy and courteous, and they installed the shutters in no time.
Along with the 2 shutters, I also ordered a double roller blind (1 blackout and the other was a 5% sheer) for my master bedroom and a single roller blind (3% sheer) for the guest room. However, I believe there was a mix-​up due to the confusion on the double roller blind’s measurement and the single roller was not yet ordered. Brandon apologized for the mix-​up and promised that he will be back next week to install the last one.
When the installation was complete, he refused to get paid of the remaining balance as the job was not yet complete (last roller still need to be installed next week) which made me further affirmed that it was a right decision to go with this company.
I would definitely recommend Brandon and his company to my friends and family, and use him again in the future.

My experience with 2 day blinds was amazing. After almost giving up on shutters (because of how crazy expensive they are) I gave 2 day blinds and was surprised by how reasonable their prices were. Eddie was my sales guy and he worked with me to find me something I could afford and would be happy with. He warned me they would take about 3 weeks but they were actually ready in a little over 2 weeks!
Brandon was my installer and the owner of the company. He was so detailed and helpful that it was as if he was installing these in his own home! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for shutters, shades, or blinds. They’ll take care of you and make you feel like family. I will absolutely use them again!
