The sign outside says it has coffee, but when I walked inside… there was no coffee menu so I thought I might have been in the wrong place. But on the window going out there is a sign with coffee items. Ordered a large iced viet coffee and it was $ 2.70 or around there. Thought it was a good price. Coffee tasted good too! It was premade because the cashier walked to the back and pulled it out of the fridge.

It’s so fresh here. One of the best banh mi spots in the area. They grill the meat right to order. The sauce that comes with the sandwich is too bomb!

I come here for a quick bite that’s good! I like their sesame balls!!! It 4 for $ 1! I have ordered their banh mi beef filet, and I reallllly like it! Their sauce is boooooomb and add that with jalapenos… delish! Only gripe was that once, I was waiting soooo long that I went up to ask them about my # being called. My food was waiting on the counter all along and they had forgotten to call my # bc they were too busy talking! SMH! I’ll come back still hahah

This place is great to grab Vietnamese sandwhich(banh mi). I like going here because they don’t start grilling the meat until you order. I love how fresh it tastes(unlike banh mi Che Cali). I highly recommend: — café du da!!! It’s like 7 leaves but a bit stronger! About $ 2.60 — #1 house special $ 3.25 — #2 filet mignon $ 4.30 A great deal they have is buy 3 get 1 free. 4 sandwiches for approximately $ 12(depending on the sandwiches you get) Service can be slow, with the staffs working here. It would be nice if they actually clean their white furnitures once in awhile so it actually looks presentable to sit and eat.

After having lunch at Brodard couple doors down, I noticed this place(new to me!). I love Vietnamese sandwiches/Bahn Mi, so despite I just overate, I couldn’t resist buying one. I didn’t see the usual meat on the menu board. I think there was chicken and a veggie that’s stuffed with regular veggies not the crunchy ones at Lee’s. I was desperately looking for my favorite grilled pork, but I don’t think I saw that. Anyways, I ended up ordering two House Special Mignon Beef #1 and two #6 Lemongrass beef because of the Buy 3 get one Free Deal. Total $ 10.51! They tasted really good, and I love the baguettes being more soft than crispy, especially the next day. The chili, cilantro, and carrots were very fresh too. Staff was friendly, all smiles. Good, cheap food. Will return.

It seems like a good place to chill, the lady who makes the sandwiches is nice. Would be worth it to buy 3 get one free… They’ve no cold cut sandwiches here, everything by the grill. The sandwiches are okay… I had the lemongrass beef and the pork(more like pork paste). Kinda skimpy on the meat, I’d say. Flavors are good enough… BUT With so much competition in the area, you think they’d step it up a few.

I give this place 3 stars for their banh mi, but 1 for poor customer service. I like the baguette with lemon grass beef. $ 3.25. Buy three get one free. However the service is terrible. It was a not-so-busy morning there when I came by to buy their banh mi. The ladies behind the counter saw me waiting at the counter but they decided to ignore me and continued tending to their tasks. After 15 minutes of patiently waiting for someone to come and take my order, I decided to leave due to their poor customer service. It’s a bad idea ANDEVENRUDE to let your customers wait for fifteen minutes without acknowledging them. Even though I like their banh mi, but I decided to go else where for my banh mi since then.

Vietnamese place … what more is there to expect? I like going here because they have unique sandwiches. All of their sandwiches are made to order. I like the shredded chicken and the the lemongrass beef the most !!! The pricing is okay. Not bad. Seems like a family business. Whenever I come here, I always encounter the same workers hehehe.

I order the Special #1& Café The sandwich was ok, I like Tip Top Sandwiches better. The sandwich I order, the meat didn’t taste like real meat. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. The coffee was pretty good, it tasted almost like Gala’s Coffee«I still like Gala’s better».

This place serves typical vietnamese sandwiches. I ordered the grilled pork sandwich. The bread was not fresh. The meat was too chewy for the sandwich. The pickles were average. Go to Banh me che cali or Lee’s instead.

just to be clear, this place is located a few doors down from brodards, assuming you’re in the back parking lot where the front entrance of brodards is. i went through the entrance on the other side(99 cent store plaza) and it was a slight journey looking for this place. some days, the thought of a vietnamese sandwich just really hits the spot(w/an ice cold coffee!). i ordered the #1 grilled pork special and it was pretty decent. $ 3.25 decent? mehhhhhhhh… a little on the high end for a banh mi, but cheap for an entire filling sandwich. the grilled pork here differs from other places in that they make it into a flat patty, instead of the usual pieces of cut up pork. perfectly grilled, good flavor with hints of lemongrass… and of course, like others mentioned, the brown garlic-y sauce they give you is pretty good. garlic overload; i could taste the garlic in my burps throughout the day. not so pleasant. the bread is fluffy and crusty with great crunch. they put it in these little paper sleeves, which i like better than those rolled up white papers because it gives you your very own crumb catcher so you can eat on the go. lastly, the service here is ridiculously slow. i came when it wasn’t very busy, i can only imagine how it is when there’s a lunch rush. there were only 2 others before me and i still waited ~15mins for my sandwich. i had time to walk over to 85C, order drinks + buy pastries, and come back only to wait some more. at one point, there was another customer waiting at the counter for the entirety of ~10mins without being acknowledged because the 2 people working were busy; 1 was cooking meat, the other was preparing the sandwich or something? banh mi is supposed to be quick, no? =/

I really love their fresh banh mi here! I love the #6 with an extra egg. What I love most about this place is that everything is fresh to order, so your bread and meat comes out fresh and hot. The employees here are extra nice, which makes the experience all the better! Family ownes business that believes in quality and service! More reason to stay positive and support the local business that strives to provide the best!

Got the house special(i.e. pork). –bread:average, just average baguette — pickles: average — meat: very very red, not much flavor. I can taste the lemon grass, but that is pretty much it. It smells better than taste. There is a bitter after tatse. I wouldn’t come back.

Don’t come in the AM. They use stale bread from last night which is so unfresh. I ordered my sandwich and told them that I don’t want any butter. She didn’t stop and said I already put butter on your bread and added the rest of the condiments and meat in. All this done on 4 loafs of stale bread. If you come, come late in the day hopefully its more fresh. Service is not customer friendly.

I ordered the number 9 sandwich which is essentially a Vietnamese breakfast banh mi. I felt it was a bit under seasoned and just«ok». At least the open kitchen is clean, but chairs and tile floor are dirty. If they would just tidy up the place a bit and put in some slightly nicer chairs I would come back to try some of their other banh mi.

I’ve only ordered my Vietnamese coffee drink here, so I can’t comment on the sandwiches. This place is hidden, behind the 99 cents store. It’s pretty much 2 doors down from Brodard, so if you know where that place is, then you can find this place. This place is pretty small, even for a sandwich store. I came here before when they first opened, and there did not seem to be many items out on the counter. I came back last week and it looked about the same. Again, all I had was the coffee, both times. I will say that I don’t think they have a lot of items. Even when the place was newly opened, I asked about some of the items on the menu, just to find out that not all the things on the menu were offered. okay. Anyways, so I’m giving this place 3 stars because while the coffee does taste good, it is pretty pricey. It’s 3something for a cup compared to other places where it’s 2 something and the taste is comparable.

Here is the breakdown: The sandwiches: 3.5 stars. The ambiance: 3 stars(the windows could use a wipe down, they are new after all and so it should maintain that look!) The iced coffee: 4 stars. The service: 4 stars. I tried the filet mignon and the special banh mi. I preferred the special which appears to be grilled pork. It comes with the usual pickled suspect and you are given a sauce to either pour on your sandwich or dip in. The sauce I’m indifferent about. In any case, I do like the fact they grill you sandwich to order, that’s a different concept than I’ve seen with the thousands of sandwich places out there. The iced coffee was just the right amount of sweetness… not too bitter. I’d get it there again($ 2.50 for a decent amount). I need to pace myself so the ice has some time to melt and water down the rest of the drink. The service– the apparent owner was giving me all of this advice on what to get, why their sandwich is unique and that I should tell my friends to come back. It was a bit refreshing to see her be so enthusiastic about her business, I almost wanted to buy another sandwich just to make her happy. Even when she was in the back and came out, she asked the worker what that person just ordered excitedly. I wish more people were as pumped up about having customers like her. Definitely something to check out at least once to compare against your usual banh mi places.

I love Lee’s and Tip Top but I was quite impressed with this new Banh Mi shop. I got suckered in when I was walking nearby Brodards and they were offering their sandwich and coffee samples outside. Yum! My mom and I ended up ordering 3 sandwiches. They were all good. My favorite was the grilled chicken banh mi. They had various types of sandwiches that they don’t offer anywhere else. For example, the Grillet Mignon, Omlet(ham & eggs), and lemon grass beef sandwich. They also had a deal going: 3 sandwiches for $ 6! The 3 for $ 6 includes the shredded chicken, meatballs, and omlet sandwich. The best thing about this place was for our 3 sandwiches we ordered, they gave us free drinks!!! They also had grillet bowls, kabobs, boba and smoothies. The kabobs are only $ 2 each. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. They were fast with our orders. Packing here sucks but definitely worth checking out.
