Although I took a class a few years ago, I enjoyed the Photoshop class I took here. The teachers are excellent and the teacher I had prepared handouts ahead of time for me to take home. Additionally, after recently visiting this center for a quick refresher of the whole Adobe suite, the same experience I had a few years ago came back in an instant. Thanks for the memories!

If you want to learn photoshop, this is the place! Before I took the class, I absolutely did not know one thing about photoshop. Steve is such a great teacher, he really goes over everything step by step. The photoshop class is only two days long for 6hrs per day but you still learn everything you need to know about photoshop. I was worried at first that I wouldn’t be able to learn a lot in two days or if the class was too big but I believe it’s 4 people max in one class which is great ! When I went it was only 3 including me so it depends. I am definitely coming back for more classes. He will also send you a certificate that you completed the class and a link to a photoshop book with some lessons and exercises you can do to practice your photoshop skill. Steve really knows what he’s talking about and regardless if you’re a slow learner or not, he will adapt to you. Very patient and nice as well, I recommend him !!!

I used the Unilocal deal for this place as I wanted to get more comfortable with Photoshop. I’m so glad I did it. I was the only one to sign up so I had one-​on-​one instruction for 2 whole days. Steve was a great teacher, you can tell he REALLY knows what he’s talking about. He even has pre-​prepared handouts for you to take home. I would suggest this place to anyone willing to learn.

I attended the Illustrator class yesterday and left with a solid working knowledge of the program. Once again Unilocal came through in finding me the best. Stephen is one of the most talented teachers I have ever had. He has a knack for for conveying information in a way that is easy to understand, he’s a very nice guy with a great sense of humor. Definitely worth the money. I only wish he taught Microsoft programs in addition to Adobe. Even though I already know Photoshop, I am considering taking that class also just because I feel he could teach me so much more.

Steven is one of the best computer teachers I have ever met. In 2 days he taught me more about Photoshop than I learned in 4 months taking a college course. He is so patient and very skillfull– he knows the program inside and out. Whether you’re a fast learner or a slow learner, he will adapt to your learning pace and make sure you are learning and applying the material he is teaching. Highly recommend him for his private sessions, trust me it’s worth it. After taking a course with him, I wouldn’t want to learn a computer program any other way — that’s how great he is.

Steve is a great teacher. He goes at a really reasonable pace and covers all the basics + more, so that you leave with a comprehensive idea of how to use InDesign. I wasnt expecting much, because it’s LA and everyone’s just after your money, but Steve impressed me. He even went half an hour over schedule because our class wanted to know a little more. He’s funny and you can tell he knows sooo much. The pace in the last hour sped up a bit and went a little over my head, but I got so much information beforehand that i felt satisfied in my new Adobe knowledge.

My friend and I recently took an Illustrator class with Steve. He was extremely knowledgable, patient, friendly and made me feel more confident about using the software. I look forward to trying out different classes at RGB!

Don’t be fooled by the accent, Steve is an excellent, excellent teacher.

The teacher was fine. It was a basic class and I feel like he taught them. BUT, as with any class, you can only go as quickly as the slowest student. Ding dang, there are some slow learners out there. There was a woman in my class that I swear was just there for a lark and had NEVER used anything more complicated that MS Paint in her life.
What I am trying to get at is this, I am not built for group learning. It makes me want to kill everyone — or at least the people that aren’t very bright.

This is a must-​go place for technology education. Steve is very cool and friendly. He makes the information accessible, and his laid back demeanor doesn’t take away the enthusiasm he has for the subject matter, but rather makes him very approachable. The location has some difficulty with parking, but get there early and you should be fine. Bonus points for being in an area with great lunch options.

I took both the Indesign and Illustrator courses with Stephen and he did such a fantastic job teaching both. His method of teaching helps you understand all the concepts clearly and in a concise manner. His approach is very practical and hands-​on, and I thoroughly enjoyed absorbing all the information. It was just enough to learn the most important basic concepts, but not TOO much that I felt overwhelmed. I was lucky enough to be the sole student of the Indesign course and one of two students in the Illustrator course. It was basically a one-​on-​one tutorial.
A handy tip: I would suggest not driving out of the parking lot on your lunch break, as parking becomes scarce in the afternoon. There are a bunch of restaurants within walking distance (as well as a Starbucks across the street).
Don’t forget to bring a pad/​pen – you will need to take thorough notes.
A nice touch was receiving certificates via email signed by Mr. Ho on the same evening of the class.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Ho’s class without any hesitation.

Great place to learn the basics of the adobe creative suite programs. I took the dreamweaver, photoshop and illustrator class here. Steve does a great job introducing you to the programs. I wish he had more advanced courses to delve more into the programs, though.

Very useful and enjoyable class. Steve made 14 hours (over two days) fly by and I walked out with my heading exploding with information about Photoshop. It was a hands on class so I think all of the tools learned will remain in tact in my brain. The curriculum was thorough and delivered in a very logical sequence. Steve was a terrific instructor and I highly recommend this class.

I had a very nice learing experience with InDesign. My class was on a Sunday and there were only two of us in the class. All questioned were welcomed and the class moved at a nice pace.
Bring pen and paper and be ready to learn right when you walk in the door!
Consider this an investment in yourself — another tool in your tool kit!

I took the CS5 Illustrator and InDesign courses at RGB and I highly recommend them both! This is perfect for anyone who is interested in personal improvement with CS5 whether they have much experience with the programs or not.
I had taught myself photoshop but never attempted any other Adobe programs and now I feel confident taking on any graphic design job, big or small.
The instructor was incredibly helpful, patient, thorough, and even stayed later to show me specific techniques I wished to learn.
I spent a lot of time looking for design courses and this was by far the best decision, both technically and financially!

I highly reccommend this program. This is a great program for independent learners. I took the photoshop class and it was great. Everything was fully explained. Keep in mind this is an independent study program, not a 4 year school. You get what you put into it. There are no grades/​homework. It is up to you to push yourself to practice at home. If you don’t use it, you will loose it.

I am so happy I chose RGB over the other places. I took Adobe Illustrator and learned more than enough to now use the program on my own. Highly recommended. Also convenient because the location has parking. And Mr. Ho is knowledgeable, patient, fun, and friendly.

This is a great class! I took the Photoshop class and it was very easy to follow. I now have a much better understanding of the software. Great for beginners or for those who use Photoshop everyday, but may not know all the functions. Steve is a great instructor and made learning fun. I look forward to taking more classes here.
