I came here one weekend with my parents because they do not believe in Unilocal reviews. Well, they could not say I did not warn them beforehand. To be honest, I think this place hooked them on with the sign 50% off phở. This is located right next to the shun fat market so there is ample parking. The inside of the restaurant is kept clean and tidy. Both my mom and I got the large phở bowls since it was the price of a regular. I honestly do not think the portion correlated with a «large.» They just placed the same amount of food content with more phở soup in a larger bowl and called it a day. The soup like many reviews have said is full of MSG and quite fake tasting. They meat included in our bowls was not that much and definitely was not a large bowl size worth. My dad got the pork chop rice. He was very disappointed as he felt the restaurant«did not care to put the time and effort into making the entrée.» The rice was regular priced. The servers are not attentive and we never even received our waters during our visit. This was quite unbearable since there was so much MSG… all I can say is you get what you pay for… In the general area of garden grove, there are PLENTY of phở places that are delicious with better service. Spare yourself the grief and disappoint and do not come here.

One of the BESTPHOBROTH! I was able to eat my large phở bowl with rare steak and tendon with just a squeeze of lime. I usually add sriracha and hoisin sauce, but the Quan Vy the broth is perfect!

Food is great, but the service was sadly not on par with the food. They came to get our order and the lady left before I can even complete my order. I will also say that I felt out of place because some of the workers were constantly staring at my table with what seems to be judgy eyes.

The food was okay but the service could turn you away. The sauce for the spring roll didn’t taste homemade. Overall, if looking for the food at a low price, just give it a shot.

Had a bowl of Mi Bo Kho with Yellow noodles. The taste was really good and the beef was cooked perfectly soft. The soup was not very hot when it came on the table and the broth was just to fatty for me. Going to take it home and scoop the fat off it tomorrow. My wife had the phở # 1 special rice noodle soup with rare steak, tendon and tripe and well done steak. I did not like because it had not much taste! I think they watered down the broth since we came kind of late! Not very happy just found out that I am being charged 50 cents for a glass of ice water! Not coming back here for sure. I give this place a 3 because the bo Kho was decent!

My family’s favorite phở place. They’re always open on holidays. 50% off beef phở when you eat there(does not apply to-go). Food usually comes out quickly. Service isn’t that great, but not completely horrible either. Overall, it’s a good, cheap place for phở if you’re not one to expect too much.

Horrible Phở, Lot of MSG!!! I have ordered #1 this morning and 20 minutes later I began to have the effects from the MSG n the Phở from this place. My body is very sensitive from this. After stop going to this place for couple month. So this morning I have decided to give this place another chances. Overall: 1) Soup is Salty, lot of MSG. 2) Meat is way Over cooked, smelled like it has been in the freezer for way too long. It has the smell, horrible smell. 3) Rice Noddle didn’t cook well enough to be soften to eat, still had the smell and the oily taste from the manufacture plant. RESULT: — NEVERCOMEHEREAGAIN to AVOID any ingestion of the MSG to the body, beside the price is not cheap either. — Why being CHEAP to save couple bucks than get headache from eating unhealthy food like this. UnilocalER: Should you avoid this place and save yourself couple minutes of your future life by not eating any food that has lot of MSG. Bad for your health!!! AVOID100%

Cheap + yummy phở but bad service! I go to this place a lot with my family and they are really fast at making orders(I wait 5 – 10 minutes for my bowl of phở). Asian places always have bad service so I’m used to it(don’t expect a water refill) and that’s why I give this place 5 stars! I had better phở but not for $ 5. The inside is modern looking which is nice. CASHONLY

I ordered Phở Bo #1, the Quan Vy Special. Waitress took my order was very polite. She brought me my eating utensils, and my Café Sua Da along with the fresh vegetables for my Phở. Waiter brought me my large bowl of Phở. Very big portion. The beef tendon that they serve with the Phở Bo is very unique. The display of the tendon is a big square where all the tendons are held together. This is very tasty, and very SOFT which I like. The beef brisket and the rare steak with the Phở is very thinly cut, now chewy, and very good. The I order the clear liquid broth because I don’t like fatty soup. Well, done. A+. I’ve been here many many times for breakfast, but today i came for lunch. My Large bowl of Phở is $ 5.00 with the 50% off. Very good deal! Theme of the store is modern, with the water stream, very cool and unique. The clear glass panels really brightens up the restaurant, giving us a good view of the street and the parking lots, and our cars. Clean, tables are even solid, so are the chairs, not wobbly. I dislike wobbly tables when i come in to a restaurant to eat.

Honestly this place does taste really good and is quite cheap. The restaurant is clean and big so no worries there. THESERVICETHOUGHYIKES. It’s super slow, they forget your order sometimes and if you want anything else you’re most likely not gonna get it. I had to ask for limes THREE times before they gave it to me and they didn’t look happy. Also they might get your order wrong so try not to order anything complicated. I do really enjoy the bunbohue here which is why I come back but MAN service is terrible even on a slow day. I can’t imagine how bad it’d be on a busy day.

Want cheap phở? This place is located in the plaza next to a target. The hours are decent if you want a late night snack or if you just want to eat cheap phở. Their main selection of phở is always 50% off so just $ 5 for a large filling bowl! :D The place seems clean enough and they come to take your order quickly, mostly leaving you alone after you get your food. I’ve definitely had better phở but nothing quite this cheap. If you compare to other places in Little Saigon, the flavor is lacking but you get what you pay for.

Bad service. lack of professionalism. RuDE! I dont appreciate my placemats, menus and utensils thrown on my table with the gal walking away with her tray still on our table. They gave us someone else’s order before we even ordered. They also got our order wrong. I would have left if it werent for my starving kids! Not coming back here. The only guy who deserved a pay check was the mexican/hispanic bus boy who served with a smile! I hope they treat & pay him well because he deserved it. Chaotic restaurant. Lower your hip hop music so you can understand your customers! Souds echoes more in empty space!

Been here a couple times before, but most recently, it left a lot to be desired. I’m not sure if they raised the prices or not(despite the 50% off forever). Super slow service on a Saturday, with no one to clean up the tables despite four parties waiting. Beef phở was mostly noodle, with very little meat. I guess you get what you pay for? But I guess for about a $ 1 – 2 more I could’ve gone elsewhere and had a better beef bowl, not sure what to make about that.

The waitress was friendly but not too friendly. Once she drop off the food she didn’t even return. (Etc. She didn’t stop by and ask if we needed anything or how the food.) Don’t eat the ox tail phở.(Good ox tail soup go to Phở Lu which is just around 3 to 4 blocks.) The soup look bland like if water was just added to it. I notice the table across from us there phở was bland too. Maybe it was the chef fault idk. Or it wasn’t their day today. The Phở Ap Chao(Fried noodle) was alright. It was good they had a choice for you if you want it crispy and stir. Table and restroom were clean tho. I’ll give them that.

$ 5 phở? What a deal! My friends and I drive here from Irvine since the phở is good and cheap, and the portion is big. This place gets 4 instead of 5 stars because they need more English speaking staff. It seems like none of them speak English. If you want to have any special requests, good luck getting them to understand. When your food comes, they don’t know how to communicate which # is the one they’re holding, so you might need to figure it out with your friends after the person puts it all down.

Why two stars? How dare I?! Well… I’ll keep it straight forward. This review is solely based on the food, which was #2 on the menu, phở. The broth is lacking depth of flavor, it honestly tasted like water once I added in the bean sprouts and herbs. I tend to always taste the phở broth first whenever I decide to dine on phở and man, very disappointing. It’s quite unappetizing when I have rely solely on hoisin sauce to make the meal edible(which didn’t work). The quality of the protein, was also very lacking. Most of the pieces were very tough to chew and didn’t have much flavor also. How is it even possible? I don’t know either o_o. The amount of meats you also receive in the bowl was not a good balance with the noodles. To me, phở needs a balance between meats, herbs, veggies, noodles and a broth to bring them all together. The dining area is okay at best. They provide ample seating, but for some odd reason this place is packed on weekends. Maybe I’m missing something? Maybe it was an off day today? I just don’t get it. They also only offer two accoutrements, hoisin sauce and sriracha, much sad. Maybe if I had some fish or soy sauce, salt and pepper I could have spruced up my broth a bit. Oh well, in the end, it was fairly cheap as they are always running a 50% off beef phở there. Though, I’d rather pay extra for quality somewhere else. I wouldn’t come here unless I didn’t have a choice for phở. Just not worth the meal in my opinion for the reasons stated. Service was fine, so theres no need to touch on it, its a Vietnamese restaurant and I expect that type of service: D If they put more time into their food preparations, I’d come back possibly.

I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. I get that maybe it’s a cultural thing, and people aren’t happy with the service. They’ve always been very nice to me whether I speak English or Vietnamese. I usually get phở bo or bo luc lac(shaking beef). The portions are big, enough for two I would say. The phở is typical, just like any other place in Westminster. The bo luc lac is my favorite. It comes with a large portion of beef, sautéed onions, pickled onions, lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Oh, and a soup and dipping soy sauce. They’re open pretty late too, so definitely a good spot if you’re out & hungry.

Best 50% off phở bo place in town in my opinion. Large bowls with lots of meat. Also got a side of vinegar onions. Yummy. Best bang for your buck here. Of course it’s not the cleanest but it’s 10x better than phở vinh ky down the street.
