CASHONLY! I was in Garden Grove and came across this place on Unilocal as I was searching for a bakery to go to. I enjoy supporting mom and pop shops so I was excited to shop here! Most Unilocalers seemed to liked the cream puffs here so that’s what we got. I was delighted to discover that their cream puffs were as good as the cream puffs I’ve had from Beard Papa! The size of their cream puffs are smaller and it’s only $ 0.40 for each. Also, they only carry the original vanilla flavor. Whereas Beard Papa changes up the flavors and offers at least 3 flavors daily. They sweeten the deal of their cream puffs by offering a free one for every $ 10 spent on the cream puffs. If it wasn’t so hot, I would have bought a box of cream puffs which is what the customer in front of me did! It came in a cute box with handle and would make a lovely gift as well! Plenty of parking in the shared lot.

Cream puff is very fresh and cheap. 40cents each. Most of the baked goods are fresh and good. I like the naked curry beef bread and the pound cake loaf. Parking: plenty of parking Service: friendly

I stumbled across Manmi Bakery’s page on Unilocal one day and noticed they sell cream puffs for 40 cents! I knew I had to come in the next day to try their positively rated puffs. Now I can say they live up to their reviews! The puffs have a generous amount of cream in it too. I’ll definitely be back for more.

They have the best cream puffs I ever had. I am just disappointed with their new prices. Before about 2 years ago their price was .25 each. You can buy 4 for $ 1 then last year it was change to 3 for $ 1 now effective June 1st it’s .40 cent each making you really only can get 2 for $ 1. I think they have gone too expensive for just cream puffs. That is how much egg rolls cost. Other bakeries close to my house may not be as good but they are still selling it for 3 or 4 for $ 1. I don’t know about you guys but as long as they are good and I can get a lot more for my money. I am sticking with my other bakeries. I don’t think I will ever come back to this place unless they lower their prices on cream puffs again.

I’ve tried their cream puffs, mochi and red bean balls. I really enjoyed the cone cream puffs because I prefer a softer texture of the bread and plus theres more cream on it. The cream is perfectly sweet and it is so light. I can eat a ton of these. The red bean is also amazing here! The mochi has a nice chewy and soft texture. It was also heavenly once I bite into those red bean balls. I am not sure what they are called but they’re round and there’s red bean inside so I call it red bean balls. But all 3 of these tastes good and if you’re looking for a reasonably price and great tasting dessert, this is the place!

I really like this bakery. Their bread is really good but their customer service can do better. I always come to this bakery when I’m craving bread. But recently after their workers changed I don’t get the good customer service as I used to before.

The best hands down cream puffs! My kids loves eating them. There not too sweet and they put a lot of cream inside. I have tried the other pastries and they are all delicious as well. Price very just right cheaper than 85 degree.

Cream puffs and almond cookies are the items that have made me a repeat customer. The cream puffs are .40 each. Each are filled with a delicious and rich custard. It is not too bready like cream puffs from other asian bakeries. Ive tried to limit myself to 3 or 4 each time, but end up buying at least a dozen in the end. The almond cookies are light and crispy. Super addicting!!!

I don’t even know why I bypassed this bakery driving past here for a decade. I am so glad I gave it a try. It’s a small Korean bakery located on GG Blvd/Magnolia in same plaza as II Poom Sushi Seafood and Grille. Parking is limited as they share the lot with multiple businesses. The damage as follows: –Cream puffs: most popular dessert item that people from near and far seek to taste. I am not a huge fan of cream puffs. But these bite sized bad boys may have got me! Very light and sweet custard filling! The outer crust is soft and flaky. Yummy dessert that is so cheap at .40 a piece! –Chop sal: these red bean donuts are delish! Kind of like donut holes. Round balls filled with red bean and lightly fried. The red bean was delectable. Not too sweet. Just the way I like it! Must try! 2 for .90 –Marble cake: looks tasty but not worth trying. The cake was on the dry side. Just .90 so try it for yourself. –Butter cream bread: 2 slices of sweet fluffy bread with a light butter cream filling. Meh… it was ok! Too much filling made it overly sweet. I would come back for the chop sal and cream puffs! They don’t accept credit, just check and cash. lol

I came in and was greeted then I ordered 10 dollars worth of cream puffs which is 25 pieces and I’m supposed to get one free with every 10 dollar order. So it should have been 26 pieces. She charges me 8 dollars and I count it at home and it’s only 20 pieces. I’m like,“really?!” So I eat two and one is stale while the other one is fresh. my boyfriend said the same thing. There was a bunch in the case, I wouldn’t have noticed unless she just gave me either all fresh or all older product. I like the product this bakery makes, Except the attitude of the cashiers are disheartening. I really wish the girl would tie up her hair if she was going to be preparing product.

my cousin has been bringing these delicious cream puffs to potlucks and celebrations for a couple of years and I always ask her where she gets them because they are literally all I can think of for a couple days after :) the cream puffs here are so yummy and just the right size. not to big and not to small, so you can eat about 4 before feeling guilty! it’s been years since I’ve them but I had an Easter potluck at a friend’s house and thought she’d enjoy them. well to my surprise, the price has gone up on these yummy lil suckers! they used to be 3 $ for a dozen(.25 each) so I could get 4 dozen for 12 $! I went there yesterday and got 30 for 12 $(.40 each). actually, 31 cause thy give you 1 free upon purchase of 10 $. it’s still not bad considering how delicious they are! needless to say, they’re always a hit at potlucks!

Small shop. Good stuff. But i give 2 stars for their service. One of the girl employee here is a total b! tch. Glasses, short cut hair. What a terrible service with attitude. Hope she knows that she is hurting the biz. I believe lot of other people feel the same. Good luck. Wont be coming back.

While scouring for some food on Christmas Day, Manmi Bakery was opened for me to purchase some sweets, cream puffs to be exact. The employee that helped me wasn’t the nicest. The cream puffs are 3 for $ 1, for what I’m told it used to be 4 for $ 1. When you order $ 5 worth of cream puffs«you don’t get a free one, they just give you one extra one in case they miscount». Ok, so do I get an extra one or not? –_– The staff worker made sure to make that clear for me… that you don’t get 16 cream puffs because it’s «free» but so they ensure that they don’t miscount and give you less. Anyway, it was a quick in and out of the bakery. I got 16 cream puffs for a flat $ 5, no tax. The cream in the cream puffs were rich compared to other cream puffs like Beard Papas which is more whipped. My friend who went with me thought the cream puffs were filled with ice cream.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is hands down my favorite bakery in the world. It blows chains like Paris Baguette and Tours les Jours out of the water; once you try the goods at this bakery you’ll never want to eat at another bakery again. We used to drop by here every Sunday morning on our way to church and pick up some goodies that were supposed to last for the next week(more like a couple of days). My absolute favorite thing to get here is the chopsal donut. You’re in luck if they come out with a freshly made batch when you order. They have a nice crisp outside but once you bite in you’re greeted with chewy wonderfulness and red bean. Another one of my favorite is the gombo bread. Perfectly crunchy outside and soft and fluffy inside. If you get anything, get these two. My sister always gets the sprinkle cookies and cream puffs when we drop by here. I’m not a fan of cream puffs so I can’t speak for them but my sister loves them. I’ve had the cookies a couple of times and they are delicious as well. Whenever I’m back home for break I always make sure to drop by here! If I could give this place ten stars, I would. Come here. Order all the things. EATITALL.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and the quality is always consistent, always delicious, & pricing is good. Every time I buy these for potlucks people rave about the cream puffs for months. After all these years, I’ve iy bought their cream puffs. Need I say more?! I’ve made profiterol displays with raspberry coulis & chocolate sauce but honestly, these cream puffs are glorious on their own. A very nice family business.

I went last minute to pick up a cake for a birthday. I frequent Asian bakeries and one of the most challenging parts is ordering. It is usually difficult to order from someone who does not speak English very well. This is not the case here. The girls working the counter were very nice and took the time to help me out. The cake I wanted wasnt in stock but they offered to make me one, fresh, in 30 minutes! Seven thumbs up!

I lalalalooove their cream puffs! The cream isn’t too sweet but just right. You can’t leave this bakery without trying their cream puffs! It’s inexpensive & delicious! What more can you ask for? As for their fruit basket bake, the cake was moist with fresh fruits. I can truly eat the whole cake all by myself lol. It’s just as good as the one in my hometown.

Came here a couple times for various occasions and I always walk out with more than my blood sugar can handle… This place is a Korean owned bakery, so they’ll have some bean-filled bread in addition to mochi and sweet potato offerings =) If you need a cake, they’re good with spontaneous orders as I’ve done so the day before. Some things I like — mocha cake. Got this for mothers day. It’s actually a mocha cake base filled with their signature custard. This cake had good texture, very fluffy and more flavor than say Vietnamese bakeries lol but because of the custard, it made it a teensy bit sweeter. It was good though! The mocha flavor was pronounced enough but wasn’t overly so. $ 28? For a quarter sheet. *my mom thought this cake was too sweet;van’s only in her mind. well vans has no flavor imo! — cookies in a bag(Lmao my phone autocorrects to vag) the sprinkle and chocolate chip are tasty. These aren’t soft cookies, but the crunch and flavor of them whether it be unicorn barf or chocolate is yummy. A whole bag is eaten very quickly. $ 1.25 they don’t skimp on the chocolate chips either! — mochi donut with walnut. I haven’t gotten this in awhile, but I like how the texture is chewy, soft, crunchy from the walnuts and filled with red bean I think. But since it’s a donut, it’s deep fried so gg health — cream puffs. These aren’t the best compared to other places, but they’re good to snack on when you’re sad and when you’re not I haven’t tried the sweet potato cake… But sweet potato pastries are pretty tasty Sooo. They also offer a discount for your tenth cake ordered!
