Established in 2013.

by Grandmaster Kim, King’s Martial Arts is a sister studio to Grand Master Kim’s first location, MIK Martial Arts in Monrovia — a well established studio that has remained in the same location since it’s opening in 1995.

Myung Il K.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Korea, Grand Master Myung Il Kim began his lifelong commitment to the study, practice and discipline of the martial arts at the age of 5, graduating from Seoul University at the age of 23. His accomplishments to date include the following achievements:

8^th Degree Black Belt Tae Kwon Do (TWF)

7^th Degree Black Belt Hap Ki Do (IHF)

5^th Degree Black Belt Gum Do

M. A. in Physical Education (Seoul University 1993)

7 Time National Champion

Presidential Award 2002 — Tae Kwon Do & Hap Ki Do
