Great guy, really tries to help and give you the best service — doesn’t nickel and dime you for everything. I can always stop by if I Iose a band or if something else is wrong.
The receptionist is real nice too, a lot of flexibility with appointments.

(+) Being his patient for a year now, I can tell you that he is skilled in his craft and most importantly appreciates and respects aesthetics. He does DETAIL WORK! Most orthodontists focus on the ‘straightening and alignment’ and leave out the detail work.
(+) What I like most about him is he is open to discussing your concerns and develops a plan that works for you!
(+) The office is fast-​pace; however, remember that Dr. Ngo overlooks every-​single-​patient and HE is the only one that makes the decisions on how to advance and progress your needs.
(+) Candy/​Candie the office manager is very knowledgeable and the entire staff is very helpful and accommodating.
(+) After removal of my braces, they provided me with a clear plastic/​Essix-​type retainer!
WHY I’M REVIEWING DR. NGO:
I was referred to Dr. Ngo by a friend. There was little information about him online; however, my friend’s experience was wonderful and I bet on that. I want to share this information to all of you out there who are looking for an orthodontist.
I live in south orange county and drive up here with happiness knowing that I’m in good hands.

I came to Dr. Ngo’s office with 2 canines on both sides and hoping to get my teeth straight out within 1.5 years. Before Dr. Ngo, I went to 6 – 7 other orthodontists for consultation and all of them recommended extraction on 4 teeth and braces on for at least 2.5 years. So as I came to see Dr. Ngo, I understand I also brought him quite a challenge with my request. After a 15 minutes consultation, Dr. Ngo understand I would not want any extraction so he recommended IPR (Inter-​proximal Reduction). I accepted the recommendation and had the braces on on the same day.
After 1.5 years later, I not only have a new smile but also a new life. Wearing braces under the care of one of the most experienced orthodontists on Orange County is the greatest thing any person could ask for. I am glad I made the right decision to have Mr. Ngo and his friendly staff to take care of my smile. The process might be challenging, but the result is worthwhile.

Just came back from my consultation! This will be my second time getting braces (completely my fault for not wearing my retainers the first time) I haven’t seen Dr. Ngo in over 9 years and it was so nice to know that he has not changed one bit! He was extremely welcoming. He also had such a big smile on his face, despite how busy the office was this morning.
He gave me a thorough explanation of what I needed and the approximate duration of my treatment. He was so honest with me compared to other offices where I received consultations. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for an awesome orthodontist as well as affordable braces. I am really happy with the service I received today from not only Dr. Ngo, but also his staff!

Dr. Jimmy Ngo’s office is honestly the best place ever for you or a family member to get braces. Not only is he an efficient dentist, but he’s also one of the kindest that I’ve seen. At every one of my appointments, I would be in and out in less than a half hour because they really give you all their attention and focusing on giving you the best possible service. The receptionists and staff here are all really kind and caring and really do make you feel welcomed when you walk in through the door. I’ve had braces for as long as I can remember and I’m glad I was able to spend those years with a wonderful dentist.

I came to Dr. Ngo 6 years ago for a consultation about getting braces. After reviewing various orthodontist quotes and services and receiving a strong recommendation from a family friend, I decided to come here. Not only is Dr. Ngo friendly and qualified, his staff always offered a warm welcome when I came in for check-​ups. Two years later my braces came off and I was more than satisfied with the result. Following the treatment, I have continued to take good care of my teeth and still wear my retainer on occasion to keep them as straight as possible. People compliment me all the time on my teeth and I owe it to Dr. Ngo! I went in for a check-​up just a couple weeks ago to make sure my teeth were still doing well and to see if I could get my retainer tightened. Dr. Ngo recognized me and was as kind as ever, offering the check-​up and retainer adjustment for free. I also got to see the new office which looks great! I highly recommend Dr. Ngo.

I wish I could give it a 100 stars because giving 5 stars is doing it injustice. The staff are super friendly, and the doctor knows what he is doing. I was to get a jaw surgery but the doctor found an alternative to a surgery. He saved me time and money. No other dentists does that I am sure. They are hard working and honest staff. I have no words to describe the awesomeness I have experienced here. Special thanks to Andy and Tiffany. They are really cool and will make you feel at home. The other staff are also really cool but Andy and Tiffany were my personal favorite.

Dr. Jimmy Vu Ngo is great! I’ve known him since I was a kid (I was 15 at the time), and my, now, straight teeth are great! I recently broke my retainers, however, and came back to him after five years! He replaced my retainers ASAP, and even gave me a discount just ’cause I remembered him? Haha! Awesome! The staff is nice too! Yay, for straight teeth! No regrets at all!

I just had my braces removed and my teeth are nice and straight. Dr. Jimmy Ngo and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. His prices are reasonable and he will work with you to accommodate your budget. I received several quotes, and Dr Jimmy offered me the most reasonable price.
I referred my coworker to Dr Jimmy and she is also very pleased with his work. She said that her last orthodontist was not as thorough. She, like me, had to wear braces twice because our last ortho did not emphasize the importance of wearing retainers. Another mistake I made in choosing an orthodontist the first time was that the first orthodontist was not a board certified orthodontist like Dr Jimmy is. I wasn’t aware that a general dentist can perform orthodontic work without being board certified. Not only is Dr Jimmy board certified in orthodonistry, he went to a competitive, prestigious dental school (UCLA) and he did his fellowship at NYU. What more can you ask for in an orthodontist? Trust your teeth with Dr Jimmy Ngo and his staff!!!

The new office is super nice and the workers are friendly. A guy by the name of Andy is very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. The doctor is informative and really helped me with my braces. Its also a plus that makig appointments are easy and that I don’t get irritated with the way they braces fit.
