I went to Anaheim with my friends and wanted to buy an Atari 2600 there. I found 2 and wanted to buy one of them. I asked what the price the Atari was but he Seidel it doesn’t have a power coward so they couldn’t sell either of them. Well… Ok then, but if it’s not for sale, then why are you displaying it in the store?! Not a place I would trust for buying a Atari but a huge and awesome selection of other games that I would recommend.

I had written a not so bad of a review but I guess they had deleted it. Well anyways I’m here to update my 3 star review. The worker is very kind and takes his time to answer your questions. Any electronics I have trouble or if I want to sell I come here. They give you the best price possible.

Jonathan in this spot is always super helpful and always courteous. I’ve been buying games from there for about three years and never had an issue. Their repairs are also second to none!

I miss this place. I moved out of the area about a few years ago, but this was my go-​to store for most of my video game purchases. The staff was excellent. Friendly and fun to talk to. They would really hook you up. Highly recommend this location.

This place is the place to go for your Gaming needs. Old & New. The guys there are great! Had great customer service & made our visit a happy one! Highly recommend!

Love this place, the employees are very friendly and they offer you their best products for a very good price, also they help you look what is best for you not what is the best for them. I Definitely recommend you guys this place if you guys are interested in buying any electronics.

These guys are great… the tray on my PS3 stopped loading and reading discs so I brought it in and was told 1 – 2 days for a free diagnostic and likely another 2 – 3 days to replace the tray at a price somewhere around $ 75. Received a call the same evening identifying the problem and the cost to fix it (exactly $ 75) that they would have it ready the next day. They even gave me 10% off, so I have absolutely no reservations about giving five stars to a place that does good, fast work at a reasonable price. Will definitely bring my consoles back here for repairs.
On a side note, their store also had a great selection of vintage games. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a Gameboy, NES, or SNES, so the visit to their store was definitely like a trip down memory lane!

Came here for them to fix a ps4 and they did a fantastic job there has been no problems with it. Also brought in my sons ipad mini 3. He had dropped it in water. They were unable to fix that 1… i really appreciate them doing all they can to go online and search for the pieces! But it was unfixable so i just sold my pieces of that ipad and all i got was $ 20 for it!!! yes just 20. I felt ripped off. This place is good but a little over priced

I am so grateful to have found this place! One day my PS4 shut off. Everytime I tried to turn it on, it would beep once and shut off. We would have trouble trying to turn it on again. so we did research and called a couple of repair places. We got ridiculous quotes, even from the Craigslist repair services. Some places asked for a diagnostic fee, which sounded insane. We called Game Geeks and they were the first to offer diagnosing without a charge. Prior to bringing in the PS4, they were willing to answer all our questions over the phone. We had trouble having anyone answer our questions when we called, assuming they didn’t want us to figure out the problem and lose out on business. So anyway, same day we drove to Game Geeks. The guys are so helpful and friendly! They didn’t make is feel stupid for asking stupid questions. They also work with an older gentleman, he’s an OG! He definitely has gaming knowledge which was impressive.
On top of the great service, helpful employees, they have great prices. The services are about 30 – 40 percent cheaper than other quotes we received. And our PS4 came back to us good as new, and with a warranty from them. We won’t be trying anyone else for our electronic repairs. Game Geeks also fixes other electronics. Our new go to place. I’ll definitely be referring everyone here from now on. Highly recommended!

The whole game geeks team did an amazing job fixing my ps3 their fast & their prices are fair. I highly recommend this place.

After being contacted by the store I’m dropping by review down to one star, learn how to talk to customers.

They fixed my sons Xbox 360. The eject was broken, they did a good job fixing it. Good customer service, not real fast but heck they saved me a lot of money.

These guys are super awesome and helpful. I have no idea why they would get less than four stars. They diagnosed my ps4 for free and after I cancelled the service they still cleaned the ps4 for me (they also gave me a free wire because I had the wrong one). The technician and the guy working in the front seemed to really know they’re talking about and are super kind. Some people complain about their accent but I don’t see anything wrong with it, I was able to perfectly understand him.

Visited this location a couple days ago with a friend who was looking for some SNES games as a gift for a friend. We walked in and to my guess was the owner was already talking to other customers. Great customer service by letting who he was already helping he will return as they were talking among themselves about what they were shopping for, just to greet my friend and I and if we needed anything to just go up to him and he would gladly help us.
When those customers left, he shifted his attention to us and provided excellent customer service, he even apologized to us that he didn’t give us his full attention the moment we walked in.
The game selection is pretty extensive, along with accessories to old and current systems. Defitnetly recommend coming here if you are looking for anything game related and also repairs.
p.s Although I rate his customer service a 5 stars, I have to be honest and only do 4 stars as I have not brought anything in to be repaired as I haven’t ran into a need to do so. I will bring anything in when that time comes, and if all goes will an update with 5 stars will be applied =)

I never been a big fan of game stores because to be honest I dont really know anything about games and when I go into these stores they make me feel like I’m not good enough to be in there or that I don’t have enough knowledge on their games and game consoles. When my boyfriend took me in here it was busy and I could tell this was the go to spot for people. We were greeted and asked right away if they could help us. We declined and continued shopping around for games. I’m an old school gamer. I love the super nintendo and all their games. I was completely stoked that they had the console and tons of games. I definitely will be coming back to pick a console up and some games. Its nice to know that some game shops still have the old school games that I like.

This is a great store for casual game collectors and regular players like myself. When you walk in, there are NES, SNES, and N64 games directly to your right. I did not come here for anything specific, but ended up with a copy of Batman for the NES. They guy gave me a 10% discount because I was a first time customer. He was very nice and greeted me upon entering. I definitely plan on returning! :D

Yes this was at the Garden Grove location. It was like two months ago. You probably don’t remember because you guys barley pay attention to your Customers. It’s a rip off because you guys wanted to charge me $ 30 because it was two controllers for something i figured out how to fix for free. There were no extra parts needed so your suggestion to swap parts what’s unnecessary. I stand by my review. Bad service here and I don’t recommend coming here.

Dear Game Geeks, I thank you for thanking me for «visited» Game Geeks. If you only put that much effort in actually greeting me WHILE I was in the store. I really appreciate Game Geeks response to my negative review. You guys have changed my mind completely. .I will be giving you my hard earned money! Your insults are exceptional! MINT CONDITION IS WHEN AN ITEM IS IN THE BOX, SEALED or in pristine condition. The SNES that I saw was NOT IN A BOX, it was on display with a price sticker and it had no controllers or manual with it. so which SNES are you talking about? I mean, who does your grading?
Instead of spending time responding to negative reviews with your atrocious English. you should pick up a book on how to to do customer service, pick up a book to learn what mint condition actually means. and while you’re at it, pick up a book on grammar. By the way, you were too busy to say hello because your were watching tv! Give me a break.

I love old school games. Its tough now finding a place that sells them with such an enormous selection and is relatively close to where I live. So, out of blue I suddenly had the urge to play pokemon heart gold. I looked everywhere and ultimately found one here when I called them. They gave me a very reasonable price (the game is no longer in production and is rare enough) around 50 bucks I believe, but it was Soul Silver. I’m not sure if they have Heart Gold now but at the time they only had Soul Silver and my «heart» was set on gold lol. Eventually I did find one at a gamestop though I paid like 15 bucks more (shoulda just bought the silver). I did, however, buy Diddy Kong racing here for my brother. It was a favorite for us when we were kids then and now. It was in great condition, still playing it and receiving no problems whatsoever.
The store is located in the Lees Sandwhich complex near the Rite Aid. Its a decent size. There are plenty of parking. The customer service is ok. If you need anything, they will help you out, otherwise they just leave you alone (which I enjoy as a customer, I like to shop at my own pace).
PS, I will eventually buy FF7 and FF9 here once I figure out how I’m gonna be able to play it since I just sold my PS2 and my crappy PS3 doesn’t have that playback setting :(

Alright, so my saga continues…
I bring in my PS3 again to the store for warranty repairs. I speak with a tech named Jonathan. Thank God he spoke decent English. I explained my situation about the YLOD and he explained to me that, if the system shows symptoms of the YLOD after repairs, that generally it isn’t repairable. I tell him ok, so what’s the next step?
He tells me that he will have to notify the store manager, write up his report, and request a full refund. He said that it would take a few days and that they would contact me if I was a GO for a refund. Fast forward to a few days later and I receive a text message (surprisingly) that I was granted a refund.
I went back to the store a week later, just this past Saturday, and Jonathan swiped my card and issued a full refund. Although I was a bit frustrated with my experience with this establishment at first, a business that hold’s up their end of the bargain is a-​ok in my book. Since my PS3 is now partially dead, time to start shopping for a PS4.
