Finders Keepers Thrift Store

not very impressed with this place… don’t want go on a rant but looks like a couple of smokers trying to make a million on stuff that’s donated. sorry!

Super awkward!
They young man told me that they are not allowed to put newspaper on my glass items because it’s «their policy»
I’ve never heard of such thing!
Is this true? Needless to say I drove off and one of my glass cup broke!

After seeing the reviews here I am really confused. Place is organized, calm and quiet for a good shopping experience, but I felt that the items were overpriced. I paid $ 10 for a wooden pepper mill, $ 30 for a glass oil pourer (I believe it is crystal — I might be wrong) and another $ 30 for few other items. I would have walked away with a lot of items with a $ 70 at the Flea Market! If you don’t mind the premium, I strongly recommend you go here; but if you want to get cheap but antique finds, I don’t recommend this place. I just went once, and I am done!

Omg super cheap prices! I got 14 pieces of dinner ware for $ 9. The owner is such a sweetheart and super nice and helped me find other stuff and gave me great advice!

Came here expecting nothing but found something really hard to find. I found a full set of golf clubs with really nice leather case! Now these clubs were a little used but ultimately still in good standing. The bag was looking like was brand new. When I asked how much the bag was, I thought the owner said $ 70 (which is still a good deal) but I heard wrong. It WAS $ 8! Needless to say, I left with an AMAZING buy and an outstanding set if clubs with bag. Now if you think it couldn’t be better, the owner was super nice and caring about providing a premium customer service.

This place has recently taken new ownership. The owner is very nices. I’ve only been here twice, but she remembered and greeted me when she saw me. The place is small, but its packed with gems. Prices are low and what would you would expect from a real thrift store. This store is worth checking out :-)

I’m late with this posting as it was a couple of months ago and I did not want to forget write a great review. Better late than never! I was looking for a basket to make a gift for a baby shower and I found exactly what I was looking for. The owner so helpful and also told me about his organization to help find kidnapped kids. It’s amazing to know that there are great people out there to help kids in need.

Okay so, some of these reviews are talking about the «mess» and boxes but, let me just say… if you are TRULY an avid thrifter, you won’t care what extent you have to go through to find quality products for great deals. It’s in the nature of the thrift! This place has SO much variety. I almost hesitated writing this review because I want to keep this place to myself!
Yeah the space is a little tight, but I didn’t mind having to squeeze through to find the little treasures I bought today (Which btw, I got an amazing deal on). The owner Matt was incredibly nice and he even helped me look for MORE of what I was looking for. I am DEFINATELY going back, especially since he has items coming in every day!!! 5 stars for customer service and amazing finds!!!

Matt you were very personable and very honest. He received some estate sale items. We bought a Oak table and chairs.
Chairs had fabric so had to clean them up. Everything looked well, nothing cracked nor broken. Definitely was well used but durable items. Can’t beat $ 50 out the door. Thx Matt

I come here mainly for the children stuff. Every time I come, they charge more and more though :/​Children infant size is pretty cheap, everything else you are better off buying at the store new, on sale for CHEAP! also alot of their clothes are STAINED. High quality my a$s. They want to charge me prices of GOODWILL or more?! wtf?

Great thrift store! Huge selection! Inventory is constantly changing. They take donations. You want to keep visiting to see what’s new.

I had a great time at Finder’s Keepers. This isn’t the place to go for clothes but there are tons of vintage looking décor inside. The service is great and they were willing to negotiate and mark down prices.

Found GREAT finds here. You’ve got to dig around a bit, bur I would definitely come back to stock up on décor pieces and kitchen items. Also, the woman working the counter gave me a really nice deal on my purchases — practically a steal!

I don’t even want to give this place one star. its a joke, rundown overpriced closet. they had nothing but junk they charge too much for. the attendant was on his phone the entire time I was there… will never go back.

Finders Keepers is a gem! So glad I walked into this place. The owner was great. It’s a small place with a ton of potential.

Excellent store!
If you blink you’ll miss it. Finders Keepers is a hidden gem in what I think is the heart of Garden Grove (Not too familiar with the area but as I was driving down it appeared this seeeemmmeedd to be it); this a little independently owned (for profit) thrift store, that is definitely different from the typical Goodwills and larger thrift stores that scatter most of Orange County.
The selection is excellent for a store given it’s size. There is a ton of stuff in here. The store consists of mostly knick knacks and bric a brac but offers a selection of clothing, housewares, dvds, some electronics, a few small pieces of furniture, videotapes, DVDS and some other misc. items.
My favorite section of the store is the videotape section– the amount of (good) rare videotapes that Finders Keepers manages to stash inside their small space is insane. As soon as I went through one stack of tapes, I realized there two other huge stacks of hiding behind the stack I had just gone through– this happened at least five times while I was in the store. In addition to more recent tapes, I managed to find a ton of tapes that I’d never seen before. The best part about the huge treasure trove of videotapes I found is that they were super cheap– fifty cents each.
Pricing seemed pretty good. While I came in only looking for a few specific and was satisfied with those prices, I did take note of other prices in the store and they were reasonable. Pricing at Finders Keepers appears negotiable as well
The customer service here is excellent. I spent a good while chatting with the owner about the store, his items and thrifting; he seemed proud of his store and eager to do whatever he could to help me find what I was looking for. Although the store was cluttered, the owner seemed to know exactly where everything was. While I was there, several customers came in looking for specific items and within moments he was able to tell them if they had the items and were they were.
The reason I’m giving this place four stars and not five is because on the day that I came in, the store was pretty messy. The owner did tell me that it was because he had just recieved a large shipment of clothing but I did find it difficult to manuever throughout the small space of the store. Hopefully when I return (which I definitely will!) the store will be a little cleaner and I’ll definitely update.
If you are an avid videotape collector or movie nut, YOU NEED TO GO THIS STORE. the selection of videotapes is INSANE and the prices (two for a dollar) is too good to turn down. Also, if you’re just looking to support a small, local buisness with great customer service then
Finders Keepers is a store that is definitely worth a peek.

First time shopping at this store today. I’m an avid thrifter, and loved the place. Great variety of items. Good prices. VERY nice people; very helpful and a pleasure to talk with.

I was driving by and saw Finders Keepers Thrift Store, it is sorta hidden in a corner by a bar. I didn’t know what to expect but when I went in there I was presently surprised from the product and awesome service. I went in empty handed and needless to say I walked out with my hands full lol. The pricing was good and selection was great for the store size. I know with thrift stores the inventory is hit or miss, but I got there on a hit day! I would highly recommend everyone to go and check it out if you are in the area. I also found out that they take donations. This is a must see store!

Chances are you heard about this thrift store due to the endless barrage of spam posted on Craigslist by the owners in every. single. category. For example: Today is March 26^th and he has posted 12 ads everywhere from ‘garage/​moving sales’ to soliciting donations on ‘items wanted’. It just goes on and on like this.
Anywho, being that there are no legitimate reviews on here (Owners and employees are forbidden), I decided to take one for the team and make a personal inquiry.
Without spending too much time on this, I found it be far from a «Must see thrift store». This place reminded me of my garage — In both size and appearance. The prices are pretty bad — $ 80 for a used guitar hero setup. And the selections are lacking — Very few dvds, some used clothes in plastic bins and a few things on hangers that remind me of the goodwill on beach blvd. A couple of vhs tapes.
These are the kinds of dealers we would pass by at the swap meet without stopping, but I’ll be fair: Two stars because the clerk wasn’t rude.
