I went there for my second time. the lady that did my nails were nice and all but I think she was distracted by the argument that was occurring behind her.
this time I opted for gel acrylics since my birthday is coming up soon and I wanted to be able to have them pretty for that. well I didn’t exactly get what I wanted. she did black with a stripe-​y accent ring finger, which is completely fine. I kind of gave her free rein on the accent nail.
after finishing, I still had glue and plastics around my nails even after I washed my nails. I asked her to clean it and it was done messily. i went to clean my hands again, noticed there was glue still under the nails. okay, let’s try it again. she files it down a little bit. I wasn’t going to complain again until I was talking to my boyfriend about it and noticed one nail was completely missed in the filing! so went back again, this time with another lady. she actually went and filed every single finger.
now if that wasn’t enough… now almost 9 hours later, I got two chipping nails. one of the nails was cracking so I was trying to fix it. the middle layer of paint is still not dry. sigh. I have to go back to fix it… again
didn’t have any problem when getting my gel manicure here last time. I’m disappointed this time.

Broke a nail off so I had to get it replaced I also got a new gel color. Customer service is terrible to begin with, and she did a terrible Job shaping the nail I was supposed to get fixed. They do have a lot of color selections but she did my nails all bulky looking and not worth the $ 25. Plus the lady looked bothered that I didn’t tip. Sorry but I learned my lesson with tiping. Why am I going to tip someone extra who did a terrible job and who wasn’t even friendly. Not happening.

I’ve been here over 5 times, and have been named the Duchess, so speaking as a royal…
The service has been pretty consistent for the most part. Avoid coming here on Saturdays, unless you have an appointment or willing to wait 2 hours for a service.
My preferred time is any weekday after work.
For eyebrows, Jenny is the (wo)man! She is meticulous and will get your bushy brow in shape! She’s by far my favorite for everything, including nails, but she’s usually tied up with the brow work.
For the nails, most of the staff are great. There was only one time that I wasn’t satisfied with my manicure, only to find out that staff was highly requested by the customers, so I think it’s just preference.
Pricing wise, $ 20 for gel, $ 11 for spa pedicure (+5 for callous scrubbing if you want it).
I love that they are not pushy and they have an ever growing list of polish (and they do a pretty good job showing you the new colors).
Star deducted for the staff talking and laughing in another language. It makes us customers a bit awkward and look at each other like, «you know they are taking about one of us!»

On the last two visits they totally ignored me as I walked in. No greeting or anything. As I started to walk out after 15 minutes is when they decided to ask what I needed. And if they do greet u they tell you wait is only five minutes and the wait turns into 30 minute plus. Horrible customer service. All they do is talk about customers in their language. Rude rude rude! I think these girls who work there don’t realize people are paying for great service, and not to be ignored or talked about as they do our nails. To many nail shops to put up wit their sh $!.
I will give my money to a cleaner, more friendly nail salon.

Everyone is so rude. They really don’t care. Except Heidi. She is a great mani artist. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered great results.

I’ve came to this place for years. And every time i come here they always make a mistake! I only come here when my nail lady isn’t free

Five stars to Jenny for being an eyebrow magician. I love coming here, she is sweet and has an amazing talent for eyebrow shape! Never got a mani pedi here but the owner is rude!

Heidi is great. she always does a great job on my Pedi and Mani. Heidi has beautiful Toes and always them nice and neat. She needs to find a good man to give her a Foot massage because she works so hard. Thank you Heidi.

I came here before work one day and just walked in. I got Jenny and she was fantastic. She is such a fun and friendly lady. I will definitely be returning just for her. I went to another salon today that is down the street from my house and I left so disappointed. (Mind you I live 45 minutes away from here) Only jenny will touch these nails from now on.

I only go to Essie nails for eyebrow and lip wax. The prices are good, but Jenny is the best around. She actually takes her time, doesn’t rush, and makes sure everything looks and to your expectations. Another plus with jenny is that she actually gives you face wash to help prevent you from breaking out. Jenny is the only person who I trust and she’s def worth the wait. I would call ahead and make an appt if possible though.

I’ve been a loyal Essies costumer for over 10 years now and I really like this place. The ladies there do a good job but my go to girls are Heidi, Mimi and Annie. They keep up with the latest trends and they try their best to do what you ask them to.
I read the reviews about people complaining how rude they are and blah blah blah but aren’t they all? I mean let’s be real! If the workers are Vietnamese (and you’re not), there is high chance they will talk about you. Haven’t you watched Angela Johnson’s stand up?! GLITTER NAIL
Anywhoooo I give them 4 starts and not 5 just because it’s not very high end of a place and it doesn’t look like the cleanest nail salon either but they are soooo affordable so I guess you can’t have it all.

I love this place! Heidi is amazing! The best nail artist I’ve ever had! She’s gentle, never hurts me and she does an amazing job! Everyone compliments my nails. Call Heidi for an appointment :)

Hate this place! Rude workers, poor work! I’ll never come here again! Cheap work… cheap polish and when my manicure comes with a massage. I freakin expect a massage! She rudely massaged my hands literally for about 3 seconds… really! People don’t waste your time coming here. They need to be shut down!!!

Not a bad place. Unusually busy for a Sunday afternoon. But I am Vietnamese and I will say that they did talk to me in our language, but they didn’t talk about the other customers at all.
A little dingy, but overall an alright place.

She made my nail crooked, there was mail polish residue all around she didn’t even bother to clean it up I had to ask. She asked me to pay and tip before I even got my finger nails started, prob so she could do a bad job and still get a tip.
And after the fact my cuticles were messed up for weeks!

I got a gel French manicure thinking to myself that it would last at least 3 weeks… it lasted 4 days! The man doing my nails (tuan, I think) was friendly but I did not want to pay 25 $ for gel nail polish for it to last only 4 days! This place can be a hit or miss; I had Vi do my gel manicure several months ago and they lasted a good 4 weeks! I’m giving them a 2 because the lady that did my pedicure cut my cuticles too deep and I bled and said that she had to cut THAT deep so it can be «clean».

If you have more than $ 11 to spend and you actually care what your nails look like, don’t do it. JUST DON’T. I was next door getting massage (which I highly recommend, by the way) and decided to stop in for my nails. It was only $ 11 for a pedicure, how bad could it be? BAD. Not only was it a waste of money, but it was a waste of time. They can keep the $ 11 if I can have my half hour back. My nails look the exact same as they did when I went in. I even paid the $ 5 for the callus remover. I might as well have just said no, and handed her a five anyway. The girl was on her phone half the time.
I was fully prepared to leave a $ 10 tip. I’m used to paying 40 for a pedicure so a $ 10 tip seemed more than fair until I processed how bad it was going to be.

Your standard mani/​pedi/​nail/​wax joint. Asian owned and operated. It wasn’t very clean, but I was in a hurry so not knowing the area well I could ill afford to picky and choosey. Prices were cheap. Wax was very reasonable and the pedi was only $ 11. Who can complain about the price?
The girl who helped me with my wax did a good enough job, so I asked her to do my pedi too. Could have done a little better but at least the toes were free from winter lockdown.
I won’t be back because I don’t expect to be in the area again any time in the near future. Overall it was just so so. Walk-​ins are welcome.

This salon is dirty and trashy looking on the inside and one of the workers has a MAAAAAJOR attitude problem. In the nail salons I have been to every station has a jar of sanitizer with tools soaking inside. Not here! It didn’t look like they do much cleaning of anything at all here.
I wouldn’t touch this place with a 10 foot pole.
