This is my Go-To place if I am craving for Tofu Soup or Jia Jang Mein. Very reasonable, the service is excellent and it totally fills you up.

I just had my rehearsal dinner there on Sat. The women there, I think she is the manager or assistant manager(korean young lady who speaks english) is WONDERFUL! She helped me with my paebeck dress and so helpful during some confusion. She made my rehearsal dinner a memorable and pleasant experience. Thank you!

Food here was very good… service was ok. This place looked it would be small from the outside but huge on the inside. I would come back again if im around the area. maybe

What a little gem! The interior was not what I ecpected at all! I thought it would be a crummy little hole in the wall, but I walked into a rather large restaurant! The décor is a bit strange though – you walk down a hallway lined with western statues on either side and into a room with koi fish lining the walls. The register counter appears to have a Chinese influence. Rather strange, but didn’t really bother me. I went for the 10.99 lunch deal and got the seafood tofu soup along with short ribs, while the bf just got a bowl of the seafood tofu. I thought my meal would come with a smaller version of the soup, but nope, at 10.99, I got a full sized serving of ribs and soup! That was certainly a surprise! To be honest, seeing that the portion sizes were large and the price was so low compared to our usual BCD joint, I thought the food must just not taste as great – I was wrong! It was actually delicious! The soup could use a little more flavoring, but it was perfect after I added a spoonful of chili peppers and spooned it i to my rice. Service was fast and friendly too! This is my new goto spot for tofu for sure. :)

Came to this fine establishment to eat before my meeting across the street. A little scared at first by the elaborate decoration and long walkway to go into the the actual dining area, I considered skipping this place. However, I came back and gathered the courage to walk inside despite seeing advertising in a number of languages(Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean) — I understood buy one, get one free though! I don’t remember the exact name of what I ordered but our waitress described as a Chinese/Korean noodle dish. It was okay but the flavors were not outstanding to me. I am unable to take advantage of their KBBQ goodies because I don’t eat seafood which is in their tofu. Bleh :( All in all, cheap and good service. A little hard to find since the sign outside says LACATERING and Dragon Palace underneath. Go if you’re big on seafood!

I had the cold noodle and the broth tasted like water. I mean it’s cheap, but that meal was horrible. I think I’m going to stick with my usual of soondubu and bulgogi. However, I love their service, always friendly and all. The reason why I gave them 4 stars is because the soondubu and bugogi pulled it up with their decent taste and great price.

I’m not too sure about the food. I placed a Take Out order and they said 10 mins. It took me 15 mins because their sign says«Boiling Seafoods» instead of Dragon Palace. When I got there, they gave me a menu and I said«I already placed the order.» They confirmed with me the order I placed on the phone(meaning they didn’t make it) and I waited. After waiting for 20 mins, I canceled my order cuz I only had 10 mins left for lunch and had to settle with drive-thru. I would have given them a 1 if the food was bad, but I honestly don’t know. I wouldn’t eat here for lunch if you got 45 mins or less.

I want to give this place a 4 and ½ stars. I’ll explain why I’m shaving off ½ a star at the end of my review. I want to highlight all the good points first :) . I heart Korean food, but I’m a Korean food noob, so my experiences have been very limited and I don’t have many Korean food friends who can show me the ropes in Garden Grove. So yesterday, I decided to man up a little bit and walk into some unknown territory(non BCD Tofu house restaurants) in search of some authentic, cheap Korean food. I’m so lucky I found this place! I usually spend $ 16 + for my typical soft tofu and bbq meat combo. At this place they have a lunch special kalbi/bulgogi w/soft tofu for 7.99!!! I can’t get over the price! and the food is def not stingy. The kalbi option said 3 pieces, so I thought maybe I was just going to get three little riblets. which I was fine w/since I was paying such little money. I actually got three entire slabs of ribs! So I got non-stop ban chan, a soda, rice, nice helping of ribs and soft tofu w/trimmings for $ 10. Seriously. heavenly! The servers were also very nice. They always checked up on me and made sure I was happy w/my food. I actually couldn’t finish it all and left one fatty riblet and a little bit of tofu soup. I find it amusing how my waitress felt like mom at the end and pointed out the fact I didn’t finish and asked me if I wanted to take it home w/me, which I did of course :) So all in all, I’m SO happy I found this place, no more spending up the wazoo for soft tofu and K BBQ !!! So why ½ a star off? I had to continually swat two flies that were trying to steal my foods. This may bother some ppl alot, but eh, I’ve eaten food in NYC Chinatown. I think after that not much can bother me.

STILLGOOD as always. I came last week with 4 of my friends and they were questioning me about the place because there was barely any customers in the restaurant. I ensured them that they will have one of the best korean BBQ experiences in town. They were at ease shortly after… We got seated and looked at the menu. We all decided to get different tofu combos(the chicken teriyaki, the beef bulgogi, and the bbq ribs). Mmmm when they all came out I wanted to eat them all to myself. Kinda selfish I know but hey I can’t help it when there’s good korean bbq in front of me ! So don’t blame me ! Anyways long story short, my friends LOVED this place. They were sooo amazed at how well the food was made. I then did the«SEE I TOLDYOUSO» face to them. They were shocked that this place was somewhat empty because the food here is sooo good. And on top of that, the service is excellent here. The ladies here are very accommodating and nice ! AND the prices here are just jaw-dropping(in a good way). WHO’S DOWNTOGOAGAINTHISWEEK !!! ^__^

The name fits its décor perfectly. Dragon Palace emitted a very oriental glow. Its food showered its customer with a likewise aroma. Honestly, I don’t know anywhere else a person could go for korean bbq for a decent price. I truly thought the cheapest place was in cerritos where it was ten dollars a person. But EIGHTBUCKS for tofu soup AND meat combo? I totally entered heaven right there and then. RICEREFILLS as well?! I could NOT resist, I had two bowls which accommodated my plate of meat perfectly. The tofu soup could have been spicier. The side dishes were little(there were only four). But you’d like a cheap meal under ten bucks, THISIS the place to go. ;] The reviews above have not failed me. Their service is truly a marvel. SOLONG, KAJU! SUCKONDRAGONPALACE’S SLIGHTLYBETTERCHOPSTICKSANDEATYOURCHEAPWOODENONES!
