There are a few basic requirements I have when I’m looking for a doctor. The number one thing for me is experience. I know there are plenty of talented young doctors out there, but for me, I want to see some silver hairs on my doctor if I’m choosing. So, with that said, when I was looking for a urologist, I did a lot of research on the web and found Dr. Cohen.
I can’t recommend Dr. Cohen more highly. There are many things that I like about him:
–He graduated med school on 1962
–He served in Viet Nam operating on wounded soldiers
–He’s very friendly, laid back, and puts you at ease with his sense of humor and gentle disposition. (btw, regarding his sense of humor, you’ll notice his car parked outside with the license plate ‘PPMD’)
–He doesn’t just walk in the room, take care of business, and leave. He sits down and takes time to get to know you and talk a bit about whatever is ailing you.
Dr. Cohen has all the traits you really want in a doctor — especially considering the sometimes delicate nature of dealing with urological issues. I drive an hour from where I live to his office and it’s worth it.

Dr. Cohen is my dad and he’s an amazing doctor :) I felt like his profile was sad without any reviews… Rock on dad!
