Been here lots of time and I swear I am addicted to this place :) staff here was so enthusiastic, and it pleased me every time I came here. Good new is that the salad is freeeeee when you eat here, and limitlessly refill :)))) Lol. Food here was tasty and flavorful, and more importantly, reasonable price or I should say it’s quite cheap. If you came here try not only the chickens, but also other stuff like pizzas, calamari,… Even though I want them to have more dishes, but anyways 5⁄5 for food quality and service

«medium» pizza is the size of my hand for $ 11.99. Not worth it at all. 3 stars because chicken was good.

Cute little place with nice service to have pizza and chicken. Spicy garlic chicken was tasty! I wish that there was more meat to the chicken compared to the chicken skin, but the sauce would go great with a side of rice.

Ordered the spicy garlic and sweet garlic chicken. The sauce for both was super sweet. I almost felt like I was having a dessert because the sauce on the chicken was so sweet. I would not recommend either type of chicken. Go for the regular fried chicken or something that doesn’t say«sweet» on it. However, if you like to eat dessert-like chicken, order the spicy garlic or sweet garlic. We had really nice service though.

This place was really close to our house so we gave it a shot. Different mix of items on menu and pizza’s with bbq beef bulgogi and different toppings sounded good. That was better than the pizza itself. Cheap tasting dough and cheese didn’t feel right with sauce. Almost felt like pizza hut, and that is the one pizza chain I despise. The wings were ok, super saucy and rich. They don’t deliver which is unfortunate because I cant justify driving their for what they have and we are ½ mile away. Maybe I’m being biased for my love of traditional pizza, cheese and presentation. I would give them a 3 star if they delivered.

This was my first time trying popcorn chicken at this place. Overall, the service was very good. Food we ordered were really satisfying. I like that they provide free salad if you dine in. We ordered sweet potatoe pizza and sweet and spicy popcorn chicken with green onion. I think they have the best popcorn chicken out of all the chicken restaurants in garden grove. I like that you can also call and make your order before you arrive so you don’t have to wait for a long time. Food is not that expensive and very tasty. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is pretty tasty. Really takes me back to my times in Korea where my friends and I would have a couple of beers, sitting around a bowl of fried chicken. We got the spicy garlic chicken, and I gotta tell you, we Koreans like our food spicy as heck and it was spicy! We also got calamari as our side and it was cooked to perfection. Not overly chewy which is the best kind of calamari. Thanks for taking me back to the motherland even if it was for a brief moment.

Ok pizza in general. It’s cool to have bulgogi and sweet potato in the pizza, but i wish the crust was crispier. I feel that it was flimsy and easier to eat w utensils. For the wings, it might be better to get the sauce on the side. The cheese corn was probably the best of the 3 dishes, but my fat ass wish it had more butter flavor. It will probably not be in my rotation of restaurants to hit up on the normal

I’m not really a big fan of fried chicken, with the exception of Popeye’s, and I never had Korean Fried Chicken before so this was a new experience for me. Came here for my best friend’s birthday and overall, it was pretty good. I’d rather come here than go to Buffalo Wild Wings or any fried chicken place. The only downside was the restaurant space. First off, you get complimentary shredded cabbage salad with thousand island dressing and sriracha, which is really addicting. However, we first ordered cheese corn, which was very odd to me, but turned out delicious! Next we ordered bulgogi pizza, which my friends liked but I wasn’t a fan. It was super hot and kinda bland. But onto the main attraction: fried chicken. We ordered three fried chicken styles: original, spicy flavor, and sweet garlic. Original was… original. Spicy was really spicy. Usually I LOVE spicy food, but not last night apparently. However, the sweet garlic chicken was the BOMB! Perfectly moist, crispy and delicious! Service was really great. For only two people working, they were fast, efficient, and incredibly nice. They even brought out two free large bottle of beer for us because it was a birthday party. The only thing I didn’t like was the space inside the restaurant isn’t spacious at all. It was a very narrow space and accommodated only 7 – 9 tables. I had a really good time there, service was good, and food was delicious!

I’ve eaten here a few times already. The service is good as well as the food. They have several combo deals that you can select from. On my last visit we ordered the combo that had chicken wings, fries, and a 2000cc pitcher of beer. The other sides that came with the meal were pickled daikon and cabbage salad. The fries and chicken wings came out nice and hot from the kitchen. You can tell that it was made to order. Good flavor and texture on both items. I coated my wings with some tabasco sauce and some salt and pepper. The staff was on point and checked in on us often. We didn’t order pizza this time, but plan to on our next visit. The previous time that we were here, we order a pizza with bulgogi on it. Yum!

The best Korean chicken hands down in OC! I’ve been to many Korean chicken places but Chicken Plus is one of the few that has consistent chicken which is deep fried to perfection. I’ve been to Korea and tried chicken over there and Chicken Plus makes it tastes just as good. I usually order the pizza and chicken combo for my family which can feed at least 4 people. My favorite combo is #7 which includes a 10′ gold sweet potato pizza, choice of a whole chicken, and a 2 liter drink. Free appetizers are included which are the thousand island and sriracha mix cabbage salad and pickled daikon cubes. The pizza was piping hot at the table and oozing with potato goodness. As for the sweet garlic chicken, best flavoring and crunchiness that adds to the taste of the chicken. You can’t go wrong ordering some delicious traditional Korean fried chicken(aka KFC) from Chicken Plus!

I had the haf sweet garlic and half plain chicken and the chicken stink like it was expire and it was so oily like I was eating oil. It was so unpleasant for me. I use to come here a lot but not anymore thanks to bad and smelly chicken. also it was blood on chicken leg like it was raw! :( I did not expect that from this place because it was one of my favorite places for fry chicken.

This is the best place to try your Korean Barbeque Chicken. Its my favorite restaurants out of all other places that i have tried before. Personally, i love there marinated popcorn chicken with green onions on the side. I also have tried their buldack chicken which is spicy and sweet at the same time. The employes were very kind and nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to try.

Service was great! First time I came here, I was a little iffy about trying it out but then I realized that it was really good. This place has been the place that I have been too the most for chicken and pizza.

I was hungry late one night and was looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon Chicken Plus. Pizza with a Korean twist. It’s located in a big plaza, the one with HMart in it, on the corner of Magnolia and Garden Grove. There’s parking, but be careful. An old lady dinged my truck when she was getting out of her car. –_– Placed an order to pick up and it was ready in about 20 minutes. Ordered a medium surpreme bulgogi pizza and an order of the sweet garlic popcorn chicken. It’s for sure a lot for one person. I had leftovers for about 2 days. The sweet garlic popcorn chicken is definitely one of my favs and the pizza is pretty damn good too. It’s a bit pricey(around $ 26 for the two items), but seeing that I always have leftovers, it justifies the cost. Service is good from what I’ve experienced. I’ve never sat in the restaurant; I’ve only called in and picked up, but they’re always super nice and efficient. They offer special deals on certain days too — it’s usually something different every day. Worth checking out.

I’ve been here twice and this review is solely based on their chicken. I wanted to branch off from Buffalo Wild Wings and so my brother suggested to give this place a try since he’s been here before. First, you’re unable to order a certain number of pieces. There are only two options: half & full. Half is a good amount for two people, maybe three if your table is not crazy hungry. And full is great for 3 – 4 people. I was surprised. 1. The chicken was moist and flavorful. 2. The pieces were huge. Definitely not small sizes. ** I recommend the sweet garlic chicken! Also, I thought I would like the spicy garlic but it had a strange flavor to it… =( I will update this review if I ever try their pizzas. Service is pretty good here. The guys seem friendly and chill.

Chicken Plus was pretty good; it felt like a standard fried chicken restaurant, except with the Korean vibe. There’s pizza with korean marinated meat and fried chicken covered in garlic sauce. The fried part of the chicken was a little too much compared to the actual meat. It’s great for kids and keeps people happy, but I wouldn’t go here if you’re concerned with fried foods.

I’m one of those people who could eat pizza everyday & I must say that the pizza here is so bomb! I got the medium bulgogi pizza but wished I had gotten the large for just a few bucks more. I love how they put the toppings under the cheese. It was really cheesy too which is a plus. I also tried the chicken wings. I got a garlic flavor & a spicy chicken flavor. The garlic flavor was good but the spicy chicken was waaaay to spicy for me. I had to down a glass of milk to put out the fire in my mouth after eating it. The chicken was surprisingly really crispy too even though they were saucy. It wasn’t as good as the pizza that’s for sure. I have had better Korean chicken but it is still worth trying if you are curious. I would recommend calling in to order your food if you are getting it to-go because it took 20 minutes for our order. We didn’t mind though because the restaurant is in a good sized shopping center with lots of stores you can venture into while you wait for your food.

We have had better chicken. Overall the chicken had a little stink to it and the marinade had not flavored the centers of each piece. Without the sauce that they charge you for, it would have been pretty bland. Each order ranges at around $ 15, so I’m thinking some extra sauce should be given at no charge. Unfortunately, they do. Our order of 2 Bul-Dak(Fire/Spicy) Chickens came out to around $ 37.00 Pretty steep. Location inside the H-Mart Plaza has decent parking considering their neighbor is KAJUTOFU. Probably will not be back…

Really wanted to like this place being that is isn’t too far from my work and it’s open late on Sunday’s. Well I am just going to be honest here, the food isn’t that good. To me it seems more like a gimmick of having«bulgogi» pizza. It really isn’t bulgogi unfortunately. It really tastes like mildly seasoned ground beef. Just nowhere near bulgogi. Also I got an order of the sweet garlic chicken. Again not good, I’m really not a complainer but it just wasn’t good. Too much sauce, questionable meat, sauce didn’t even taste good. Two stars for nice dude at the front table, seemed clean, and overall convenience. I wouldn’t go back or recommend unfortunately :(

Found this place on Unilocal… Came here with my co-workers. We order the half spicy chicken /garlic chicken and french fries. The first bite of the chicken I was like, «Not Bad.» After a few more bites I wanted to vomit it back out. For me I could only eat 1 or 2 pieces because I got sick of it after awhile. The chicken is very flavorful, too much sauce and flavor. The cabbage salad was ok but not great… I don’t think I will be back…

If you’re a fan of wings, you definitely need to try these. I don’t know how they do it but they have a crispier texture than your typical wings from BWW or Wingstop. The flavors are also really good. I recommend the sweet garlic, spicy garlic and lemon pepper. They also have pizza here. I’ve tried the bulgogi pizza and it kind of just taste like an Italian sausage pizza. A bit smaller than your average medium size pizza but a bit pricier.

The fried chicken is very crispy & delicious. The sweet garlic sauce goes great with the chicken(we usually ask for sauce on the side). The bulgogi pizza was pretty disappointing though. There was a lot of cheese on it & that seemed to overpower the taste of the bulgogi. Open pretty late, so it’s a good choice it you’re hungry at night!

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this. I was expecting so much more. The wings we got were really small, our waitress rarely checked on us, and she didn’t bother giving us enough napkins for our sticky fingers. The food also wasn’t filling. But the wings did taste really good, and our waitress was beautiful. And the Hite beer was excellent – it’s like Budweiser but actually good. Me and my homie went to get phở next door to fill our stomachs.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since it use to be Love Letter and it’s in the same plaza as H Mart. Walking in, it seemed dark and we were the only customers. What we got: Complimentary Salad: comes right after you finish making your order. It’s like shredded cabbage topped with thousand island and sriracha. I actually liked it, but it wasn’t too spicy from the sriracha. Free refills too! Mozzarella Cheese Sticks($ 5): definitely came from a box from the freezer. Super hot when it came out and the cheese was stringy. Don’t know why my BF wanted it though, but not something I’d get again. 15 Piece Sweet Garlic Wings($ 14): 15 pieces is wayy too much for 2 people. I thought I would be able to eat like 7 pieces and my BF8, but we were wrong! The pieces were huge! I like the wing pieces and my BF likes the drumstick pieces so perfect! The chicken was super crunchy from all the batter on it and yet still moist on the inside. BF didn’t like it though since it had too much batter and didn’t like how it was drenched in the sauce. I didn’t think it tasted that sweet or garlic-y though. Loved the crunch though! Service: Most people seem to come and order the food for take out. We were seated right by the kitchen so we were able to catch them when they walked back and forth for anything that we needed.

I’ve going to his place for years… I started when it was called«Love Letter». I usually go for the pizza and whole chicken combo(with the sweet garlic sauce on the side). The potato pizza is my favorite. I really like how they include a little salad(cabbage, thousand island dressing, corn and sriracha) and pickled daikon cubes. They also give you a metal container to throw your bones into… It keeps the table cleaner. Nifty idea! Over all, the pizza is delicious! The crust is thick and the ingredients are unique! The chicken is crispy, not oily. And it reheats in the oven amazingly well. I just put it on «toast» for 15 mins and it’s back to its normal crispness, just like it was freshly fried. Yummmmm. I’m always coming back I’m just taking away one star bc I had mixed experiences with the service there and some stable items(aka the chicken yakisoba) ran out on multiple occasions. BOO.

My mom loves Yang Nyeom Chicken and it’s just better in SoCal. This spot used to be called Love Letter, a chain from South Korea that my mom knows. I believe everything is still the same despite the name change. We came in for lunch and the gentleman playing host and server was very nice and sufficiently attentive. The best way to describe Yang Nyeom Chicken is sweet and spicy, but a very different flavor from the«sweet and spicy» that most people associate with the name. The distinctive flavor is lent from Korean fermented spicy bean paste, then sweetened with sugar. Chicken Plus offers a mild sauce called their Sweet Garlic. It was tasty and flavorful. For those that like it hot, there is Spicy Garlic. I enjoy a kick to my food, but the Spicy Garlic was really spicy while the Sweet Garlic was much too mild for me. Fortunately, we requested both sauces and it allowed me to customize the heat. We opted to share a whole chicken for $ 15.99. The chicken is chopped up and fried, then tossed in your choice of sauce, or served naked with sauces to dip. The batter was very good and it was delightfully crispy. The chicken was served with a cabbage slaw and the traditional daikon(radish) cubes. The chicken was delicious, but the sauce wasn’t quite Yang Nyeom. Combining the sweet and spicy sauces didn’t do the trick and it just felt like some flavor or element was missing or just off. By itself and not comparing it to other Yang Nyeom Chickens, it’s delicious, however, if you’re looking for Yang Nyeom like we were, it was a bit disappointing.
