Appliance World

Our refrigerator broke and the landlord wasn’t willing to cover it, so we were looking for a used one to take its place in our rental. We gave Appliance World a visit and found a newer-​model fridge for a great price. We were helped by the manager, Shahe. He included a 90 day warranty and delivered it a couple hours later. They also hauled away the old fridge free. So far it’s been working great. I never felt pressured during the sale and service was friendly and fast. I definitely recommend this place.

Do I have to give a star $ 270.00 to repair in the end. One week later same sludge! Go in sorry it’s a rip! I did business with them forever. Manager father and son act like they never seen me before

Omg I just loaded up my new maytag washer machine. I love it!!! We came here Saturday, it was installed Tuesday and they took away my old broken washer. The dudes that came to drop it off were a little sketchy, but whatever. I’m so pleased. Hoping my dryer will break so I can go get a new one now!

My 10 year old washer decided it was tired and didn’t want to work anymore so I was on the hunt to purchase another one asap. I turned to Unilocal to look for an appliance store and fell upon Appliance World in Garden Grove with very good reviews. I knew that I wanted a Speed Queen washer and dryer one of these days so I looked at the Speed Queen website and found exactly which models I wanted. I called Appliance World store and the gentleman there told me that Sean was on delivery so he gave me Sean’s cell number. I texted Sean right away asking for the cost of a new washer/​dryer set, delivery, installation, and haul away of my old set and he said he would get back to me when he got to the office. Sean gave me an answer within a few hours and I went ahead and placed an order with him that very same day. He gave me an estimate of 3 – 4 days for delivery and he kept his word! I am so happy that I chose Appliance World because I like supporting the smaller business companies since I find customer service is so much better than the larger companies. On delivery day, Sean set up my new washer/​dryer in no time. Since I never felt the need to go to his store, I am very pleased with how I was treated as a customer even before meeting him in person because I just communicated with him via calls and text. Thanks to Unilocal and Sean, I found another great company!

We looked this place up on Unilocal and craigslist, and we came here and it had nothing but used appliances. I would not recommend this place to anyone. False advertising

So after spending a week doing my own research on what washer and dryer I wanted, I decided on a speed queen brand washer, and saw that appliance world was an authorized seller. They were able to give a slightly better price than Howard’s offered online (this brand is worth every penny might I add). So when I arrived at the store, I noticed the selection was limited, nothing but used top load washers that looked basic (but if you knew anything about these basic machines, they’re reliable). So I made my purchase of the new washer and dryer from his dad, and Sean came to deliver the same day and did the install for me. He explained to me that the reason why he has a limited selection of new washers and dryers at his store is because speed queen is the only one he believes in. That’s just straight up honesty there. He’s not going to try and sell you something he doesn’t stand by. They also carry other basic used washer and dryers that sell for much lower than retail, but I’m betting these built well, repaired, conditioned, and will last a good while too. All in all, a really great family business to deal. Thanks guys!

We needed a washer badly and I kept going back and fourth with Sean. I was duped by a jerk on Craigslist but this store had great reviews so I called up and his father answered and was a very pleasant man. They sent me some pics and so far I chose a great one! I even offered the Dad for more money for a better one and he refused said he would charge me what was fair and it was. Sean delivered it that night, hooked it up and hauled off our old one. Remember you get what you pay for so if your gonna call them for a $ 100 appliance thats what you will get. Invest at least 250.00 on a top load stay away from front load and you can have a nice washer for a few you years. DONT EVER OVERLOAD. Will definitely do business with them again!

I purchased a new refrigerator from here. The price Sean quoted was the same as a similar item on-​sale at home depot, but delivery was almost immediate. Sean delivered it within a couple hours. Great appliance and super-​easy transaction. I recommend him.

Great company who has been tarnished by a bunch of frauds using this established companies name to rip off innocent appliance customer’s. I posted the picture of the ad from Craigslist this other company has been using. I purchased a dryer from this company posing as Appliance World and they seemed to have skipped town. A police report has been made and if you have any information or want to help stop these guys before they rip off more people get ahold of Sean at Appliance World he has my contact information as well if you want to contact me directly. Supposedly this company jumps town every couple months. They are said to now be in Stanton. Don’t be the next victim!

We are so happy with our fridge. Everything is in great condition, working well and very clean. Their service was superb! They delivered it for us. The fridge didn’t fit through the front door, so they brought it all the way to the back door. Moving all the trash cans and toys (we have a lot of toys out there too) out of the way. They told my husband they would do it all because he had babies to take care of. Then it didn’t fit in our fridge space. They hammered off the wheels and make it work. Thank goodness! We couldn’t be happier with service and product! Thanks guys!

Have been going to this place for over 39 years and what a great place for all your needs. If you need a repair for your appliances or a new appliance this is the pace to go. Sean and his Dad are the best! Love to shop with local people and support independent stores. 5 stars all the way! You guys rock!

We picked out an apartment sized fridge (used) for under $ 250. Delivery and installation was free, quick, and efficient. I’ve had the fridge for about a month now, and it still works great. Nice family-​owned business, I highly recommended this business if you’re in the market for used appliances.

This place is great. We had a fridge that didn’t fit in our new apartment so we went to trade it in. They gave us a fantastic deal on a fridge. About a month later, actually 2 days after the warranty ends, Sean came out to fix our fridge. He was friendly, helpful, and he gave us a break on the repair costs. I will definitely buy from Sean or have him come out to fix our fridge if anything happens again. I will also recommend his shop to everyone I know. We were actually recommend to go to Appliance world and we aren’t disappointed.

We recently moved here from overseas and my husband bought a white goods package (Fridge, washer and dryer) from here. Sean was very helpful and service focused and gave really good advice. I bought a washer from them a while back and have other repairs done they are very reasonably priced and very professional.

I was looking for an inexpensive refrigerator, and after reading the great reviews on Unilocal I decided to give Appliance World a call. Sean had exactly what I was looking for and was able to deliver it that same evening at the time I was available, not within a five hour window like other stores. That’s outstanding customer service!

Only one word can describe Sean at Appliance World, «Miracle Worker», and if I could give this company 6 stars, I would. I had just purchased a stackable washer/​dryer (from another company) and put it in my bonus room with the intention of purchasing an overflow refrigerator to put right next to the stackable washer and dryer. Other people looked at the space in which they had to work with and said there was not enough clearance to put the refrigerator in the bonus room. Sean, however, said it could be done. I was very skeptical, but purchased the refrigerator. Sean went out of his way to keep his promise.
When the refrigerator he delivered to me would not fit, he took the refrigerator from my kitchen, removed the doors from it, and fit it into the bonus room. He then put the refrigerator which he delivered to me, which was better than the one I had, and put that one in it’s place. I am very happy with the new refrigerator and even more happy that my overflow refrigerator fit into the bonus room. I was very impressed with his determination to make this work.

I needed a refrigerator repair asap and they delivered big time.
They not only were fast in showing up but they also found up that the appliance had been turn off.
Somebody else would had taken advantage of the situation but they were great by not making us feel dumb.
