Business Owner
Dr. Patella graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1988. He completed a two-year General Practice Residency Program and a two-year Implant Fellowship from North Shore University Hospital. He has been practicing dentistry in Garden City, New York since 1996 and on Long Island since 1992. He resides on Long Island with his wife and son.
Dr. Patella is the Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at Glen Cove Hospital, where he has been teaching dental residents for over 20 years.
Dr. Patella practices digital dentistry for most of his porcelain restorative cases using Cerec Technology. He can fabricate porcelain restorations in the same visit by taking digital images. That means that there are no impressions, no temporaries and no second visits! If a case need to be sent to the lab, it is transmitted instantly allowing instant direct communication with the technician.
