I have had both laser hair removal and Cool Sculpting done here and am extremely happy with my results for both. Well worth the money! Staff is always friendly and very accommodating.

Laser hair removal has been one of the best things I have ever done, The money saved in time and razor’s is 100% worth it. I had amazing results from the very beginning. I have never had any issues with scheduling and I have never been burned. I would absolutely recommend Ideal Image to anyone considering laser hair removal. The key is to follow the instructions (no sun, do not miss appointments). I found the consultation experience to be very informative.

I am beyond happy with the entire process with Ideal Image! The consultation was extremely informative and not rushed in the least. I decided to have the laser performed after the consultation. Everything was explained perfectly. I didn’t have any hair growth in the area for almost a WEEK after the treatment! I only had to shave lightly and again, no regrowth for almost a WEEK! And the regrowth was minimal. This was after the very first laser treatment. AMAZING! I will be getting more areas treated for sure!

I’ve had reservations for over 30 years about getting laser removal treatment. One of the reasons is, I have dark complexion and was told that this form of treatment doesn’t work for ‘black’ skin. My facial hair has tortured me for years. I battled with disposable razors every morning, often resulting in bruised or scared face. My make-​up had to be applied heavily to cover my in-​grown hair. I was shy to look, people in the eye due to feelings of embarrassment. All hope was gone, until one of my colleagues shared her story with me and the positive results from Ideal Image. I was impressed with the smoothness of her face. I suddenly called and booked my consultation with Danielle at the Garden City location. During the session, she outlined explicitly the positive results of other patients with similar skin color and assured me that I won’t have any regrets. I have to say that I’m extremely elated with my skin. I’ve had four treatments so far and my face is glowing. I’ve gotten compliments from people who knew me then and now. I now wearing make-​up with glowing pride. People of color… if you suffer from facial hair, please contact ideal Image. They will take great care of you!

Everyone that works there is so great! This makes the experience that much better! I have only had 4 treatments done and already I have excellent results! When I normally would need to shave everyday I now shave once every 5 – 6 weeks! And soon enough when my treatments are finished I’ll never shave again! It is also important to feel comfortable and they make it easy with the physicians assistants that do the treatments!

I’ve read all the comments on this place, but honestly, it’s the best decision I’ve made. Yes it’s a bit pricey but the results are amazing and worth it. Yes the lasers are hot and yes they can burn but I have sensitive skin and I haven’t suffered any burns, just a little irritation that eventually goes away by the next day. After my first session I saw results immediately and I’m a hairy girl. It’s really hard to get appointments sometimes but you have to stay on top of your sessions and try to get in as soon as possible. You can’t expect the employees to do everything for you. It was hard for me to get an appointment at one point and I had started getting ingrowing hairs. When I called the girls at the front desk they helped me immediately when I told them my scenario her name was Nicole and she was completely understanding. She wasn’t able to get me in the week I called but she got me in the week after which I really appreciated. I have been doing this for a few months and maybe that’s why I’m so happy with the results that I have and the treatment that I’ve been getting. Sometimes things are a little tricky upfront but that doesn’t mean you should take it at face value and tap out early. I love my results and recommended this for all my friends for the future.

This is the worst decision I’ve ever made in my life. First of all I was completely happy with their service until I was burnt with the laser on a very private area. When I asked the woman who burnt me about the numbing cream she advised me «you don’t need it, you handle it well» ok bs lady, don’t tell me just because I’m not screaming on the outside that I’m not screaming on the inside. After that treatment I had another with one of my favorite girls. I told her about the time before & she said I could request her & not to worry about it, also sent me out with a rx for the numbing cream. The next treatment that I went in for they had a sign up stating that we could not request «providers» & it’s not guaranteed that we can book our appt with one specific person… again, bs. I did not ever go back, I have to go back because I signed a contract, & they raped my wallet & finish these treatments so I can be done with them once & for all

This place has the worst customer service ever. They take your money upfront for all the sessions so they really don’t care if I get your treatments or not. I’m currently doing my 7^th session and have had so many problems with scheduling. Not accommodating and rude. They made me come back for various parts of my session cuz I was a few mins late and right now I’ve been waiting for a tech (it’s 2:50) when I had a 2:20 appt so I don’t know why the rules apply to some and not all. The only thing I’ll say is that the nurses are very professional and sweet! And it’s way too expensive. If I had to do it all over again I would def go somewhere else
Never mind. 2 stars is way too high. I brought it down to 1 because the nurse who didn’t stop asking me questions and chattering annoyingly also burned me

So I didn’t wanna give this place only one star since I’ve never actually had a treatment there. But i hear this place on z100 ALL then time so I called and I went for a consultation some months back just to get info and they barely wanted to answer my questions. They wanted me to pay for 6 sessions upfront which was alot of money and i was still very uninformed about laser removal. They kept pushing me to do it at that moment (which is a complete turn off) when I just wanted info. So I looked up more places and went to a different place. I am extremely happy with them, it’s pay as you go and it’s a lot less money with the same exact equipment as ideal image.

I went in after hearing the ‘skits’ on the radio. My interest in Ideal Image was due to them having the lasers that would work for dark skin and they indicate a custom package. The entire time I was there, I felt like I was buying a car. Same pushy tactics combined with a lot of cloak and dagger behavior. She kept getting on her phone and stepping out the room. She then began jotting down numbers and whipped out her calculator. My consultant advised me that she’d prepare a custom package for me, I wanted ALL of the hair removed from my body. The only part of my body that she ever looked at or touched was my chin and based on a 30 second glimpse she knew all she needed to know I guess??? To have all hair removed from my body would cost approximately $ 12,000. Not sure how she arrived at that figure since she never looked at any other areas. I have had laser hair removal consultations before in which they consultant was more personable and not trying to gouge me. During previous consultations (not at Ideal image) I was told that sessions would be $ 250 — $ 350 each and I would need 6 – 8 sessions.
At ideal image they do not give you any session prices and they make you commit to and pay for 8 – 9 sessions no matter who you are or what you hair type/​growth is like. they tell you that those last sessions are for maintenance, however if this is permanent why do I need 3 maintenance sessions after the core sessions to remove the hair. They average about $ 350 per session and they offer financing if that’s of interest. My main issue with ideal image is that they make you pay for all of your sessions up front, Id prefer to pay as I go and not let my money earn interest in their bank account.

So I heard about Ideal Image on the radio (Z100), and they were promoting a huge sale. I called to make a «free» consultation appointment because I was interested but nervous at the same time. I figured a free consultation would be a perfect way for me to get any of my answers questioned.
When I called, I had a an extremely rude customer service rep answer my call. When I questioned her about pricing, and how I saw deals on Groupon, etc. for $X price, she basically said I was a fool for choosing anyone else to do the job at that price, and that if I wasn’t serious about getting laser hair removal to not waste the companies time on my consultation appointment.
Needless to say, I decided to take my business elsewhere and I am getting great results at another venue for more than half off what they quoted me.

Coming from FL, there have always been a variety of companies to choose from. Usually, I avoid chain companies, but Ideal Image is really great. They use the best lasers that are quick and lessen the «pain.» They also have laser for specific skin types. I started coming to this location when I moved to NYC. They offer Saturday morning appointments which allows me to commute from NYC to Long Island without missing work. They even work with the offices in FL when I visit so that I can get my laser treatments there. Samantha is really great; I recommend her. I wish they had a location in NYC, but I knew that they didn’t when I purchased the package so I can’t hold it against them.
