Negative 1 stars. It fits right in with the declining neighborhoods of Garden City and Westland. I gave it 3 tries and the service is the worst and the food preparation is impossibly slow. My 3rd and last trip I waited 45 minutes for a hamburger. I was going to be late for an appointment so I left because contacting the middle aged witch with the dark hair who seems to be the chief incompetent wouldn‘t care. Sadly I left behind my prescription sun glasses and they won‘t return them too me. This is the kind of dump this is. Oh well. It won‘t be open long hopefully.

My family and I went here for breakfast at 9 am on a sunday. They were pretty busy, so I wasn’t worried about the wait time. What was pretty bad is that our waitress must’ve not heard me ask for silverware as she set down our plates, because she didn’t come back. My husband asked another waitress for some and she said sure, but went and started talking at the front and never brought us any either. Our food sat in front of us for about 8 minutes with no silverware to eat it with! Our waitress finally came back to check on us and got the utensils. Son had french toast, said it was good. Husband had the greek omelet and said it was excellent, except that they don’t automatically serve with gyro sauce so make sure you ask or you have to wait even more time for it. I had the corned beef hash with eggs, some places use canned so when I saw they made it fresh I was excited. But its just potatoes and meat. They should definitely add peppers and onions to that dish. Overall food was decent but the service isnt good.

The Cherry Hill & Venoy locals have been screaming for a decent restaurant for quite a while, and they may of finally found it. Using the«If you build it, they will come» Field of Dreams method, the eyesore at the corner is no more. Spending some major coin, the entire inside of the restaurant is completely redone. No more stained ceiling tiles, 1980’s 20″ tube TV, or worn out booths. The owner put in 3 new Flatscreens, added WiFi, and redid pretty much everything inside. It’s very nice and the staff are nice and friendly as well. I ordered the Veggie Omelette, crispy hash browns and grilled Rye toast. The veggie omelette was cooked to perfection, came out still smoking on the plate with the hash browns crispy like I wanted them. :) The veggie came loaded with green peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli and swiss cheese. All the veggies were super fresh and tasty! The rye toasted was perfectly grilled and buttered. I say«buttered» as many restaurants in the area seem to think rye toast should be unbuttered??? Lol. The coffee was also hot and fresh! The last few days have been packed from what we were told, so the«If you build it, they will come» method is working to perfection. Welcome to the neighborhood Franchesko’s!!!
