Target

I have mixed feelings for this Target. Sometimes it’s great, and sometimes it’s just downright annoying. Most employees are friendly but there are quite a few that stand around gossiping and complaining about their job. I get it… I’ve worked retail. At least do it outside of your workplace!
Women’s clothing and shoe area sometimes has a nice selection– that is, if you don’t have to sort through a mess of stuff to find what you are looking for. Again, this is an area that is hit or miss– sometimes it’s neat and orderly, and sometimes it looks like a hurricane has swept through.
Last but not least, the lines. I’ll never understand why stores put in 20 registers and only have 2 open on a consistent basis. I hate when I come in and there are only a couple of registers open and a line of customers with carts full of items. So. Damn. Annoying.
If this Target can sort out their bipolar issues, I would be happy to update my review!

This is a really nice big Target store and it’s not even a Super Target or Target Greatland.
I enjoy shopping here because it is clean and organized especially in the home areas. There are more products offered than I’ve seen at other Target stores especially the one near my home (Forestville area).
As an added bonus, there are actually more than three cashiers working. Usually, a Target store will have 12 check-​out stations and only 3 of them opened which meant long lines. This location actually had the majority of the check-​out stations opened!

Great service and I have to say that out of all the Targets I have been to in this area this is the best. The customer service is outstanding and the employees genuinely want to help you. No matter where you go Target is known for better service, cleaner stores, and better service among chain stores. I am still typing so no lightning has hit me. You know I am telling the truth. It is sad to say that a few Target’s are going downhill and becoming what I try to avoid whenever I go shopping. Specifically I am talking about lazy workers, dirty stores, and just a I don’t care attitude about their jobs. It is good to come here where I have yet to experience that on my many visits. How many visits? Just look at the blue and white symbol for check ins. This is my first review after 40 check ins. I just wanted to make sure I did my research with sufficient check ins before a review. Yeah we will go with that. This Target is keeping my faith that some people still give a care about doing their job.
Prices are very reasonable especially when combining your RedCard with constant deals on the Cartwheel app. Hey I like to save so price match when you can on items.

How come you can go into Target for one thing and come out with over 10? Love this store. It is very clean. The lines are super crazy on the weekends, but it moves ok. I never see associates on the floor, so if you need any help, you might have to search for someone. Overall, I still love this store.

Service was extremely friendly, everyone was in a great mood and helpful. There was an energy that’s indescribable. Maybe they just had their customer service retraining ?
The store was well stocked (like 3x the volume on available sizes and selections) compared to other neighboring T stores.

The best TARGET I’ve seen in the USA. (frm Hollywood Ca, Anaheim, Costa Mesa Ca, Westminster Ca Huntington Beach, Indianapolis, Silver Springs even Annapolis MD).

8÷24÷15 — I’ve been using the buy online/​pickup in store service quite a bit these days. I simply cannot deal with shopping in stadium-​sized stores anymore. Anywho, TARGET has always been on point. My items are usually ready within 2 hours. I’ve used the service to purchase bookcases, random awesome online clearance deals (NOTE: some items listed as clearance online is usually NOT on clearance in the store), and most recently SCHOOL SUPPLIES! Woohoo! It was so nice to just sit behind a computer (or smartphone) and allow someone else to shop for me, await the text, and pick up from cust. svc. The only drawback, to me, is that you can’t use coupons… I’d make a killing.

Bottom Line: Your typical Target, inclusive of some groceries, a snack bar, a pharmacy and a Starbucks.
Overall, I really like this Target but of course it is located inside the very busy Waugh Chapel Towne Centre. This Target is laid out like a few other Targets I am familiar with so for me it was easy to navigate. My random shopping list included sugar, oven cleaner, storage containers and band-​aids and I liked that it was all here. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.
They’ve redone a portion of the home section and it looked really homey and trendy. I like that Target carries styles similar to Pottery Barn and nice items like Riedel wine glasses.
I have a Target Red Card (a card that debits your bank account for purchases) and save 5% on each purchase so that is a nice benefit of target. Basically, when a store uses your credit card, the credit card company charges you a fee. Since Target isn’t charged a fee to use your debit card, they let you save 5% on all purchases.

Lots of stuff to choose from here. Very nice and friendly staff. Their prices are not that great though, especially clearance items which are only like 10% off. Clearance should be half off at least! That’s ridiculous! But everything else is good and I enjoy shopping here.

Thanks to the Pharmacy Dept, this Target now deserves a full 5 stars. I recently switched to Target as pharmacy since I am there more than I am anywhere else. My first experience wasn’t just more helpful and courteous than any other pharmacy I have been to in the area, but super knowledgable as well. My pharmacist was delightful and patient, explaining each medication thoroughly and told me about special alerts I could get on my phone to notify me when my prescriptions were ready, as well giving me info on discounts I would soon receive shopping there as a result of their rewards program. This location is perfect size (not one of those Super Target monstrosities) and ⁹⁄₁₀ the staff is stellar (although I have had two bad eggs over the years). All in all, I highly recommend this Target for your EVERYTHING needs ;)

Horrible place, stood in line for 15 minutes. with NO ONE IN FRONT OF ME!!! And still didn’t get what I needed… which was a soda and Tylenol. But there was an employee directing people where to go stand in line and saying I’m trying not to open more lanes to check out… well you probably should have because your cashiers are so slow and stupid they can’t seem to ring people out… don’t ever show here

I always walk into Target with the goal of getting ONE item. All I need is one item… And then I leave with a cart full of goodies.
I generally don’t have a problem with finding an employee to ask a question. The only time I do is back in electronics, and that’s usually because they’re helping someone else and I have to wait my turn.
My main disappointment with this location is that the service at customer service can be hit or miss. A couple of months ago, I ordered a CD for in-​store pick-​up. When I picked up my item, the front of the CD case was heavily cracked in several places and one of the corners was shattered. I walked to the CD department to get another one to swap it out for the broken one and there were 5 copies of the CD on the shelf in perfect condition. A cracked CD case is not the end of the world, of course, but why someone thought it was acceptable to put that CD on hold in the condition it was in just baffled me. Most of the time, I have no problem returning items here. The transaction goes smoothly and I’m in and out. However, there have been times when I have returned something here and the employee acted as if I were inconveniencing them. One time I forgot to use my Cartwheel app on an item I bought and went to customer service to get a price adjustment. I did it once before and had no problem. You would have thought I asked this employee at customer service to move heaven and earth by the way she reacted to what I asked. She literally snapped at me for my receipt. She scanned the receipt, scanned the bar code on the app, the register opened, and I had my money in hand. It took less than 20 seconds. Why she was giving me such a hard time, I’ll never know. Look — I understand how difficult customers can be when working retail, especially when you’re doing returns all day. I totally get it. I can sympathize because I’ve been there. I just feel like the attitudes some of the employees have at the customer service desk isn’t necessary. I don’t act that way towards them, so I don’t expect that kind of behavior towards me.
The store is stocked pretty well and I can almost always find whatever I’m looking for. They do a great job of keeping things clean and orderly. There are usually a decent amount of registers open, so you’re not standing in line for very long. The employees at the registers at checkout, food service, and Starbucks are pleasant to deal with. I’m always asked how my day is going. All in all, I do like shopping at this location.

I always seem to find just what I’m looking for and then some when I’m shopping at Target.
Get an extra 5% off if you have a red card and further savings if you download the cartwheel app. A lot of people don’t know that if you bring a reusable bag you can save .05 cents.
There is a Starbucks located inside of Target as well as their own snack bar. Try the mango smoothies, they’re delicious.

This is the cleanest none busiest target I have ever been to I love it I will not go to Walmart again. Brought my daughters first bike here, helmet and elbow pads but ended up finding it cheaper and returned it the next day without problems or hassle.

I really enjoy this target! The staff is friendly and the star bucks is clean and quick.
I was able to get what I need and get out without drama. Given that this is a new store, I was pleased that the store was so well kept and stocked. Each time I’ve been there have been plenty of cashiers to get you right through those lines.
Last time me and the cashier even had a friendly pleasant conversation and shared opinions on a few of the items I was purchasing.
I would go out of my way to visit this target.

This is one of my favorite Target’s in the area. Located in the fairly new Waugh Chapel Shopping Center, this Target is always a hit with me. All of the employees that I’ve encountered are extremely nice and helpful. Always speaking to you and asking if they can help you. I’ve had a few returns here that could’ve possibly been a bit of a hassle, but the staff behind the customer service counter breezed through it without any issues.
It’s always clean, aisles are always fully stocked and in it’s in the perfect location. I’m a fan!

Im not really into giving bad reviews but tonight I was slightly annoyed by the service I received, or should I say lack of service while shopping at a store I usually love. (Sorry for the run-​on)
I went back to the electronics counter. There was no one there. I walked through several isles looking for something specific; still no employees in slight.
When I found what I needed I went to the counter. No one came. On the counter was a gadget that would page an employee whwn you pressed the button. I pressed the button the message told that some on would be with me in less than 60 seconds in English and Spanish.
When I looked up I saw the associate helping another person so I waited. When she finished with the other customer she walked my way but turned back around and started walking in the other direction. She turned back around when the phone at the desk started ringing. She picked up the phone and walked past me to the next isle and took the call. She came back past me and put the phone down and kept walking like I was not standing there.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I will take my Red card to another Target.

Better than Bowie.
If you need to come to Target and live in this area, come to Crofton. The customer service here is much better, the store is cleaner, the selection is better and they stay well stocked. Also, while the Bowie location never has any (when I go), this location has a few Jewish cards and knick knacks (Channukiyah, Chanukkah candles etc) which works out great since the nearest Judiaca is kind of a schlep.
3 stars instead of 4 because I had one awful pharmacy visit here. I picked up medication about 20 minutes before closing and got massive attitude before being brushed off by some pharmacy employee. I actually complained to corporate and haven’t seen her since so perhaps it was taken care of.

Target is a good «go to» store to, well, go to. They have a lot of your household needs. You won’t find top of the line products here, but nonetheless, you will find better than average products. You can get good deals here, so study your flyers. Come here for your everyday needs.

Couldn’t be in a better location! I love this Target, it is always clean and well stocked.
I do wish they’d offer a super target somewhere here in maryland close by. I guess with wegmans right across the way the competition would be too fierce.
Highly recommend getting their red card, either credit or linked to checking account if you’re going to go shopping. 5% off adds up quick, and with coupons AND their new Cartwheel app. 10% guaranteed off if the item is on your app list, BEFORE the coupons! :D

My search for a new suitcase has brought me to a brand new Target that is currently the only open store in the center. This place looks cool now even though its being built. Kinda like a ghost town that has not been populated yet as opposed to one that has been abandoned.
I guess its good to be the king… Especially when you are one of the anchors in the center.

— Its a Target and its brand new, does not really get any better for shopping for things you may or may not need.
— There is a mini grocery in the back that I think is just for convenience as opposed to making a difference, I say this is due to the prospective supermarket that is being built across the parking lot.
— They had the suitcase I was looking for, advertised in the flyer and no other Target had… I think this is because no one knows this joint is actually open.
«The Meh»
— The main aisle-​way when you walk in is actually behind the registers… It looks like they had too much room as opposed to the normal problem of not enough.
«The Bad»
— The parking lines are already set up to fail as there is a curve just before the entrance and some goofball soccer mom in a truck too big for her to see over the wheel cannot stay in the lines and swerved into people crossing the walkway into the parking lot. Thankfully, she stopped in time, but still.
