A & N Auto Detailing

I recently took my vehicle to this shop because of a ticket received from MSP and the convenient shop location to my residence… The shop technician removed my tint (20%) from my vehicle, had me to drive a block to have it inspected then re-​installed 35% tint. I felt as though the technician did a great job on my vehicle.(time will tell). After reading the reviews posted, I did note that there was debris left in the car and it got a bit dirty, but it was a very cold day. Maybe if one decides to use them they might want to mention that they want the vehicle cleaned upon completion. I’m sure everyone’s experience is different, but mines was definitely satisfactory…

Third vehile I got tinted here. Good service and price. Get the visor tint too!

I first went here to get 35% tint put on since its the legal limit, turns out these bastards put 20% on and I got pulled over by MSP for it, so make sure you get the right tint if you even bother with these guys. Horrible. Took 2 hours for a coupe and put another car before mine even though I had waited since 10am when they were suppose to be open but ended up getting in around 1030. The tint man is ghetto and rude and did a worse job than I ever seen and this fucking poser had the nerve to hold onto my keys until i paid like he was some type of collector. Avoid this place at any cost and don’t even bother with the $ 99 scheme. They’ll end up charging you 130 for some random ass shit like, «yeah you had a lot of glue on your window». First of all that’s part of the business you jackass, if you want people to know its extra to get that removed first then put some kind of sign out.
My car smelt like smoke afterwards because the jackass was smoking around my car while he was putting the tint on. He left my interiro soaked in water and whatever else and left water spots all over the exterior after i had just got it washed. I complained to the guy in the front and he said to me my car back for a free wash and vacuum, but fuck that! if these guys clean like they tint then my car will probably come back dirtier! fuck these guys and their poser tint shop. Didn’t see one tinting licensing or business license in the shop by the way. AVOID!!!

Dear God, I have never dealt with a more incompetent company in my life. This is a very, very short summary of the hell I have been going through for the past month.
I bought the LivingSocial deal, and I called to make my appointment. It took about 10 calls to finally get through because their number is often disconnected or busy. Finally got through and spoke to someone who was so hard to understand that I was basically just winging my answers because I grew tired of finding new ways to say «what?» Scheduled an appointment for a week later. The time rolls around… they are a no show with no call. I finally call 2 hours after the appointment time to see what the heck is up. They claim that I am late to their in-​store detailing and I am at fault. Um, no. So I try to reluctantly reschedule and they tell me I «better not screw them» and I better reschedule and not cancel. LivingSocial SUCKS and wouldn’t work with me, so I felt stuck so I rescheduled.
Again, they are a no show. I call, they tell me to call the next day. Call then, they tell me to call the next day. This goes on for a freaking week. This, peppered with days where the number is «not in service» making me think they are out of business. Just this week alone, I have called every day and been told to call back the next day. Last night, I called at 5 and was PROMISED a call back by 9pm. Still waiting for that call 12 hours later.
This company is just hell to work with and I wasted $ 50 because LivingSocial doesn’t care to help me either. I am stressed and annoyed and warn anyone who tries to get a detailing that it isn’t worth it!

DON’T EVER USE THIS PLACE… EVER! They are the worst. They don’t follow through on calls and when you actually, on the rare occassion, reach somebody, they tell you they are coming out to clean your car and NEVER show up or even call. And this was after speaking with the owner NATE. Their answering machine is always full and there is no way to leave a message for them. Don’t go here!!! Don’t know how they even stay in business. I would have given O stars if Unilocal would have let me.

Made the mistake of buying the Livings Soclal mobile detailing deal last month. A&N was a no-​show, AFTER Living Social’s wonky 7 day refund period. I spent more than an hour dealing w/​2 mush-​mouthed persons at A&N (when I was able to get through to them), being told I should call their other location, being (NOT) put into their always full voicemail box, and sending emails to Living Social. What a wonderful combination. .. 2 businesses that do not give a crap about customers, service, or their reputation. BAD NEWS. .. STAY AWAY.

TL;DR They did poor work and took my bottle of water.
I’m really disappointed with my experiences with A&N. I had my windows tinted there and they did an OK job, that visit was more an issue with the service. They offered a lifetime warranty, when i asked for the paperwork they guy said «We’re so good you won’t need it [paperwork]» — red flag.
Flash forward some time later and I bought a Living Social deal for a detail for there. I came in the day of the appointment and started to talk to the only person onsite about what I needed done with the detail and asked if I could get my peeling tint fixed. The tint guy asked if I had my receipt. I told him I didn’t have any paper work; when I picked up the car for the tint I was told I didn’t need it. He basically took my keys and blew me off. He didn’t even bother to ask which car was mine.
A few hours later I called in and was told the car was done, I came in 30 min later and the car was not ready. The mats were still dripping wet and the car didn’t really look detailed. It was washed, but, not detailed. The wheel wells were dirty and there was dirt I could actually rub off parts of the car.
The car was basically washed much in the same way I would wash it, not worth the money spent.
On the way home I started looking around the car, my hatch was never vacuumed, there was soap scum on my door panels and they must have used dirty water to rinse because my windows were filthy. They did a poor job.
The last straw was when i looked over to grab my bottle of water for the ride home and it was missing. The actually took my bottle of water. Unbelievable. I get that a bottle of water is cheap, but, I didn’t leave it there for them. It was mine. Ill never go back and I’ll tell others not to go there.

I experienced tons of issues with them. I called before I arrived and was given an «appointment»…which meant nothing. So, I dropped my car off and was the next car, the estimated hour quickly lengthened to 3 hours due to the fact he was working other jobs while doing my car. Then when my car was done, the back window was messed up at the top and was told it would be okay in a few days. When it wasn’t okay in a week, I took it back and was told it would look like that for good because the tint doesn’t stick to the acrylic dots. Funny how the new tint shop I used was able to do it with no problems and said whoever told me that was full of crap. Finally, my car smelled like smoke after I took it to this unprofessional and crappy shop. Just pay the extra cash to get a better job… its worth it!

Took my BMW in to get window tint (that they installed) removed for state inspection purposes, and the older guy who works the thick glue film on my windows. Have to get my car detailed because of the half azz job, and will be getting my windows retinted at another reputable location. Guess its truth in the saying… you get what you pay for. Cheap prices = Cheap service/​quality. Thumbs down!
